Diabetic ulcer is recognized as a chronic nonhealing wound, often associated with bacterial infection and tissue necrosis, which seriously affect patients' health and quality of life. The traditional treatment methods exist some problems, such as bacterial resistance and secondary trauma, so it is urgent to find new methods to meet the requirements of diabetic ulcer treatment. In this study, we prepared a drug delivery system (DFO@CuS nanoparticles) based on hollow copper sulfide (CuS) nanoparticles loaded with deferoxamine (DFO), which realized the synergistic therapy of promoting angiogenesis and photothermal antibacterial. The morphological structure and particle size distribution of DFO@CuS nanoparticles were characterized by transmission electron microscopy and particle size analyzer, respectively. The antibacterial effect of DFO@CuS nanoparticles was evaluated by the plate coating method. The effects of DFO@CuS nanoparticles on the proliferation, migration, and tube formation of human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs) were evaluated by CCK-8 (cell counting kit-8) assay, cell scratch assay, and tube formation assay. The results showed that DFO@CuS nanoparticles were hollow and spherical in shape with an average particle size of (200.9 ± 8.6) nm. DFO@CuS nanoparticles could effectively inhibit the growth of methicillin-resistant

OBJECTIVETo explore the application value of the high-frequency ultrasound examination of the normal adult sciatic nerve.
METHODSThe high frequency ultrasound was used to examine 60 cases ,a total of 120 normal adult sciatic nerve (28 males and 32 females ranging in age from 19 to 38 years old, averaged 23.8 years old). The age between men and women, height and weight showed no significant difference. The cross-sectional scanning and longitudinal scanning, if necessary, Panoramic Imaging were conducted. The cross section area of sciatic nerve was measured at the hip line, the middle of the thigh, the edge of the popliteal fossa, and the relationship betwen the sciatic nerve and surrounding muscle group was observed in each cross-section. Probe was rotated 90 degree to display the long axis of sciatic nerve, to get the longitudinal section along the long axis from top to bottom. So the sciatic nerve in the vertical axis and the surrouunding muscles was displayed by above method combined with panoramic imaging. The data of coss-sectional area of sciatic nerve were obtained at the central of hip line, the middle of the thigh, the edge of the popliteal fossa, and then were divided into different groups by gender and sides to do statistical analysis.
RESULTSThe applicatic nerve in thigh can be clearly displayed by high-frequency ultrasound in this group of 60 people with 120 nerves, but low display rate of sciatic nerve in hip, approximatley 31.4% (21/66). The longitudinal section of the sciatic nerve displayed as the banded isoechoic or slightly hyperechoic, parallel partial hyperechoic line could be seen in it; in the cross-section, it showed a clear edge of the sieve-like isoechoic or slightly hyperechnie, which could be oval ,trapezoidal, triangular and irregular in shape; the sciatic nerve bad visible passive movement and shape change when muscle contracted. There were statistically significant differences of cross-sectional area of sciatic nerves at the hip line ,the middle of thigh and edge of the popliteal fossa between 56 sciatic nerves in 28 males and 64 sciatic nerves in 32 females (P< 0.05); but there were no significant differences between left and right sides (P>0.05).
CONCLUSIONHigh frequency ultrasound can be used as the first choice of the sciatic nerve when an imaging method preferred.

Journal of Experimental Hematology 2016;24(3):934-938
CD36 is a transmembrane glycoprotein, a multi-ligand receptor, possesses various biological functions. CD36 deficiency may stimulate the body to produce anti-CD36 alloimmune antibodies through the several pathways, such as blood transfusion, pregnancy or organ transplantation and so on, leading to the refractoriness of immune platelet transfusion and other diseases. The recent research advances of CD36 deficiency and its molecular biological basis, platelet transfusion and CD36 antibody detection are summarized briefey in this review.

Chinese Journal of Burns 2005;21(4):266-269
OBJECTIVETo investigate the effect of negative charge aerosol (NCA) on the treatment of burn wound.
METHODSPatients with superficial or deep partial thickness burn only were enrolled in the study, and they were randomly divided into trial group (T, including 180 cases of superficial thickness burn and 100 cases of deep partial thickness burn), control group (C, including 30 cases with superficial thickness burn and 30 with deep partial thickness burn), and self control group (SC, including 10 cases with superficial thickness burn and 10 with deep partial thickness burn). The patients in T and SC groups were treated with NCA for 1.5 hours, 1-2 times a day, from 6 postburn hour (PBH) to 2 postburn day (PBD), while those in C group received conventional treatment. For those in SC group, some of the wounds were covered with sterile schissel, while other wounds without schissel covering. The general changes in the wounds during NCA treatment were observed, and bacterial culture before and after NCA treatment was performed. The healing time was recorded and the blood biochemical parameters were determined. Rat model with deep partial thickness scald was established, and the rats were also divided into T and C groups, and received treatment as in human. Tissue samples were harvested from the wounds of rats in the 2 groups before and 1, 2, 3 weeks after treatment for pathological examination.
RESULTSThere was no infection and little exudation in the patients in T group. No bacteria were found in the wound before and after NCA treatment. The healing time of the wounds of patients with superficial and deep partial thickness burn in T group was 6.3 +/- 1.6 d and 15.1 +/- 3.1 d, respectively, which was obviously shorter than those in C group (11.3 +/- 1.4 d and 21.2 +/- 1.4 d, P < 0.01). In SC group, the healing time of those with sterile schissel coverage was also significantly shorter than those without covering (P < 0.01). There was no obvious change in the liver and kidney functions and blood biochemical parameters among the patients. Pathological examination showed that the skin structure was almost recovered in the rats in T group 3 weeks after treatment, while those in C group was not.
CONCLUSIONNegative charge aerosol is safe and effective in promoting wound healing of the patients with partial thickness burns.

For thousands of years, moxibustion has been used for various diseases in China and other Asian countries. Despite the recent surge in Chinese herbal studies, few randomized controlled trials have been conducted on this modality, possibly due to the lacking of suitable double blinding methodology. This is a review of extant sham moxa devices and an introduction to a recently developed device that needs further validation.

Journal of Experimental Hematology 2014;22(5):1463-1466
During the past few years, a novel family of CD4⁺T cell lineage was detected and named as Th17 cells because of its unique ability expressing IL-17, which also can produce IL-17A, IL-17F, IL-21, IL-22 and IL-26. Some cytokines, such as TGF-β, IL-6, L-23 may promote the differentiation of Th17 subset, whereas some cytokines, such as IL-21, IL-2, IFN-γ, may have inhibitory effects. Th17 cells serving as immune effectors play an important role in autoimmune diseases caused by chronic inflammation injury. More and more studies confirmed that Th17 cells have closely correlations with the development of aplastic anemia, and may be a new target in the diagnosis, therapy, prognosis and prophylaxis of aplastic anemia.

Chinese Journal of Schistosomiasis Control 2019;31(4):453-455
Objective To report the diagnosis and treatment of an imported case of schistosomiasis haematobia. Methods The patient’s medical records were collected, and the clinical features, laboratory diagnosis, epidemiological survey, diagnosis and treatment were analyzed. Results The patient had arrived to Sudan and Egypt for many times and had a history of contact with the infested water. After returning to China, the patient reported a gross hematuria with unknown causes. Cystoscopy showed neoplasms in the bladder, and pathologic examinations showed chronic granulomatous inflammation with infiltration of plenty of plasma cells, and parasite eggs. Serological test showed positive for the dipstick dye immunoassay, and the microscopic examination of urine sediment revealed Schistosoma haematobium eggs. Following praziquantel treatment for a month, S. haematobium eggs were still detected in the urine. The case was treated with praziquantel again and cured without adverse reactions. Conclusions Health education should be strengthened among China-aid-African workers to improve the awareness of self-protection. In addition, the diagnosis and treatment should be improved in medical professionals to achieve a timely definitive diagnosis.
