To evaluate the efficacy of Yupingfeng droppill and western medicine in treatment of allergic rhinitis, 76 patients from Beijing Shijitan hospital during April 2011 to May 2012 were selected and randomly divided into the treatment group (n = 44) and control group (n = 32). The treatment group was treated with Yupingfeng droppill and cetirizine tablets, the control group was treated with cetirizine tablets, the effect of the two groups was observed after 28 days, after treatment, the symptoms and inferior turbinate volume contrast of the two groups were better than before. The obvious effective rate and total effective rate were 84.09%, 95.45% and 46.87%, 56.25% in the treatment group and and control group. The differences in the obvious effective rate and total effective rate were statistically significant between two groups (P < 0.05), Yupingfeng droppill has the curative effect on allergic rhinitis, which is better than simple oral cetirizine tablets.

Acta Academiae Medicinae Sinicae 2008;30(2):128-130
With increasing demands and recognition, emergency medicine has advanced rapidly in China in recent decades. The education and training of professionals in this field are important for the further development of emergency medicine. With an attempt to investigate the way to strengthen residency training system in emergency medicine, this article reviews its potential development direction, training modes, learning materials, and quality control.

Journal of Shanghai Jiaotong University(Medical Science) 2006;0(08):-
Objective To explore effects of heat stress response on neutrophil apoptosis and respiratory burst function. MethodsNeutrophils from each of 18 healthy volunteers were divided into 3 parts, and one part was served as control group, and the other two parts were induced by heat shock or cadmium chloride for heat stress response and named as heat shock group and cadmium chloride group. The neutrophils were incubated in culture medium. At 0,2,3,4,and 6 h following heat stress induction, the heat shock protein(HSP70) expression and the respiratory burst were detected in the neutrophils respectively by using PCR technique and flow cytometer.Level of apoptosis was observed by immuno-fluorescence and flow cytometer DNA ploid at 24 h after heat stress induction. Results In the heat shock and cadmium chloride groups,HSP70 expression at each time point and cell apoptosis at 24 h were significantly higher than those of control group(P

Objective To investigate the association of the expressions of p27 and proliferating cell nuclear antigen(PCNA)and nuclear-associated antigen(ki-67)proteins in synovial sarcoma, and the relationship with its prognosis. Methods The expression of p27,PCNA and ki-67 in 36 synovial sarcoma and 10 normal synovial tissue were immunohistochemically examined. The relationship between the expressions of p27,PCNA and ki-67 proteins in synovial sarcoma with its prognosis by clinical stage, tissue grades and prognosis was investigated. Results (1)In normal synovial tissue, the expressions of PCNA(0) and ki-67(0) were positive,p27 were positive100%(10/10).but the expressions of PCNA[86.1%(31/36)]and ki-67[69.4%(25/36)]in most synovial sarcoma were positive,p27 were negative[11.1%(4/36)],significant differences were found among these expressions(χ2=25.16,χ2=9.18,P<0.05).(2) p27 positive-expression correlated significantly wiht thehistological grade of synovial sarcoma(χ2=9.19,P<0.05)and prognosis(χ2=5.98,P<0.05).The positive expressions of PCNA and ki-67 were positively related with the clinical stage(χ2=7.40,χ2=8.12,P<0.05)and tissue grades(χ2=7.17,χ2=9.18,P<0.05)and prognosis(χ2=13.03,χ2=10.66,P<0.05)of synovial sarcina(3) There were negative correlations between p27 and PCNA(r=-0.63,P<0.05) and between p27 and ki-67(r=-0.53,P<0.05).But positive correlation between PCNA and ki-67(r=0.63,P>0.05)was found. Conclusions Expressions of PCNA and ki-67 in most synovial sarcomas are positive, and that of p27 is negative, each plays an important role in the proliferation of synovial sarcoma.Combination of measuring of the p27,PCNA and ki-67 is valuble in predicting the prognosis.

Microbiology 1992;0(05):-
Ribosome inactivating protein(RIP) is a kind of toxin plant pr ot ein in which extensively lives in the body of higher plants and controls ribosom e's function. Beside it can control protein's combination,it has lots of biolog ical reactivity as resisting giving birth and tumor and controlling HIV. At fir st, RIP is isolated from seeds of bitter melon. The result of SDS-PAGE indicate s that there are lots of RIP in the abstraction liquid. Then we study the antivi ral action of RIP through the cell of CEF and SPF chicken embryos. The results s how that RIP can resist NDVF_48E_8,MDVCVI_988 and FPV-SD4 to so me extent.

Background and purpose:It was reported that chemokine receptor CXCR4 and its ligand stromal cell-derived factor 1(SDF-1)were involved in the proliferation, differentiation, and metastasis of tumor. This study was designed to observe the expression of chemokine receptor CXCR4 in hypopharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma tissue and study the relationship between the expression of chemokine receptor CXCR4 and different clinicopathlogical characteristics, and further to explore the clinical significance. Methods:For the detection of the expression of chemokine receptor CXCR4,43 primary hypopharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma tissues,27 normal hypopharyngeal tissues,34 lymph node metastastatic lesions and 9 normal lymph node lesions were detected by immunohistochemical method using rabbit anti-human CXCR4 polyclonal antibody. Results:The positive expression rates of CXCR4 in 43 hypopharyngeal carcinoma tissues and normal tissues were 95.3% and 22.2%,respectively(P

OBJECTIVETo investigate the protective effects of Yuyin Ruangan Decoction(YRD, traditional Chinese medicine) on experimental hepatic injury in mice.
METHODSThe mice were randomly divided into control group, model group and YRD low, middle and high dose group(n = 11). By ip injection of D-GalN, CCk or thioacetamide (TAA), three models of hepatic injury mice were established to investigate the effects of YRD through detecting the indexes of liver function in serum and, the content of antioxidant system in the hepatic tissue.
RESULTSYRD could decrease the content of alanine aminotransferase (ALT)and aspartate aminotransferase (AST) in serum and that of malonaldehyde (MDA) in the hepatic tissue, upregulate the activity of superoxide dismutase (SOD) and glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px) in the hepatic tissue. Furthermore, the above effects were dosedependent in a certain degree. CoNCLUSION: YRD has some protection effects on the model of experimental hepatic injury in mouse.
