1.Natural history of chronic Hepatitis B viral infection in Viet Nam
Journal Ho Chi Minh Medical 2003;7(2):116-122
859 patients with chronic hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection had followed from February 1997 to September 1998. The natural history of chronic HBV infection was described: Seroconvertion from HBeAg to anti-HBe is 9.6% per year; in which patients with high level of ALT the rate seroconvertion is 15.8%. The highest rate of spontaneous seroconversion occurred in the 20 to 40 age groups. The rate of seroconversion per year of HBsAg was low, about 1.2%; Patients with HBeAg positive may suffer from chronic hepatitis B at the rate of 16.8%. Cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma commontly happened in the patients over 40 years old

2.Nickel-titanium memory alloy patellar concentrator for treatment of patellar fracture in 42 cases
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2007;0(30):-
Forty-two patients with patella fracture were treated by nickel-titanium memory alloy patellar concentrator(NT-PC) in Department of Orthopedics,First People’s Hospital of Nanning from August 1994 to February 2004,and antibiotic was applied after operation. No infection or hypersensitive response was found in any case.Bone union occurred in all patients. No dislocation was found.Among 42 patients,37 cases were excellent,3 were good, and 2 were poor.Among 26 patients with comminuted fracture,25 were excellent, and 1 was good. The NT-PC is a good selection of medical implant for the treatment of patellar fracture, especially for comminuted fracture.

0.05),but incidence of postoperative complications and residual calculus in LC+LCBDE group were significant lower than those in LC+EST group. Conclusions Combining LC with LCBDE is a feasible treatment for cholecystolithiasis and choledocholithiasis.

Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica 2014;49(1):1-15
Idiosyncratic adverse drug reactions (IDR) induce severe medical complications or even death in patients. Alert structure in drugs can be metabolized as reactive metabolite (RM) in the bodies, which is one of the major factors to induce IDR. Structure modification and avoidance of alert structure in the drug candidates is an efficient method for reducing toxicity risks in drug design. This review briefly summarized the recent development of the methodologies for structure optimization strategy to reduce the toxicity risks of drug candidates. These methods include blocking metabolic site, altering metabolic pathway, reducing activity, bioisosterism, and prodrug.

Objective To establish a tree shrew model of Fusarium solani keractitis by injecting Fusarium solani conidia into the corneal stroma. Methods Fusarium solani was inoculated into Sabouraud culture medium and incubated at 26℃ for 7 days.Fungal suspension was collected and the number of spores was adjusted to 1 × 1010 CFU /mL on the blood cell count plate.Forty healthy tree shrews were randomly divided into experimental group (n=30) and control group (n=10).In the experimental group, 50 μL of fungal spore suspension was injected into the cornea center with a 29G needle, and 50 μL saline was injected in the control group. The models were evaluated by anterior segment photography, in vivo confocal microscopy, histopathology, and corneal tissue culture. Results The fungal infiltration, the degree of edema of corneal epithelial and endothelial cells, and the number of mycelium were positively correlated with time. The number of infiltrating inflammatory cells, mainly, neutrophils, reached a peak on the 7th day after modeling. The mycelial growth was parallel to the stromal fibers. After the successful establishment of the model, the corneal tissue culture showed the growth of Fusarium solani. The successful rate of modeling was 86%.Conclusions The tree shrew model of Fusarium solani keratitis is established by injecting spores of Fusarium solani into the cornea.

Objective To study the characteristics and regularities of somatotype growth of Yugu adolescents. Methods The somato-type growth of 989 Yugu adolescents(male:512,female:477)in Sunan was evaluated by the Heath-Carter method. Results The average somatotype of YuGu adolescents in males was mesomorphic ectomorph(3.0-3.6-3.7),and in females, the average somatotype was ectomorphic endomorph(3.8-2.9-3.6).The somatotypes develop from central, endomorphic ectomorph to mesomorphic ectomorph in the male, however,in the female from central, ectomorphic endomorph, endomorphic ectomorph,to mesomorphic endomorph. Conclusion The somatotypes of Yugu adolescents are very different between males and females. In the male group, the somatotypes of the 7-12 year-old group of Yugu adolescents are similar to the Mongolia,Han ethnic,Zhuang ethnic and Hungary. The somatotypes of 13-17 year-old group are similar to Tibetan,Zhuang ethnic,Han ethnic and Daur. However for the female group, the somatotypes of the 7-9 year-old group are similar to Hungary, and the 10-17 year-old group are similar to Tibetan,Zhuang ethnic,Han ethnic and Finn.

Journal of China Pharmaceutical University 2010;41(1):11-19
Transient receptor potential vanilloid 1(TRPV1)is a nonselective cationic channel, and can be activt-ed by capsaicin, protons and heat.TRPV1 plays a critical role in the initiation of neural inflammatory response and the pathway of pain signal transduction. As a new analgesics,TRPV1 antagonists block pain behaviors in models of inflammatory, neuropathic, and cancer pain.A number of pharmaceutical companies developed a range of TRPV1 antagonists with various structures. It was found that various chemotypes of TRPV1 antagonists would cause an increase in body temperature(hyperthermia),which may become concerns for their development. This article summarizes the recent progress in TRPV1 antagonists development and the relevant hyperthermia.
