1.Anti-snoring Pillow in the Treatment of Obstructive Sleep Apnea with Heart Failure: an Efficacy Study

Objective To investigate the effect of anti-snoring pillow for the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea in patients with heart failure.Methods Forty seven HF patients with OSAHS and 12 HF patients with simple snoring were enrolled.All the patients were divided into 3 groups:control group (n =12),mild-moderate OSAHS group (n =26) and severe OSAHS group (n =21).All the patients received the treatment of anti-snoring pillow and their sleep apnea parameters were evaluated by PSG at the same time.Results The sleep apnea parameters including AHI,OAI,ODI,mean SpO2% and snore index were significantly improved in severe and mild moderate OSAHS group with anti-snoring pillow.Conclusion Anti-snoring pillow can reduce snoring index in all OSAHS patients and simple snorers.Sleep apnea and hypoxemia were greatly improved in mild-moderate OSAHS-HF patient while the anti-snoring pillow is not perfect in severe OSAHS patients with HF to replace PAP.
2.Interventional effect of diacerein on bone mass loss in ovariectomized rats

BACKGROUND:Diacerein is a new kind of interleukin-1 block agent.Researches regarding intervention effect of interleukin correlation factor on increase of bone absorption in postmenopausal osteoporosis are few.OBJECTIVE:To investigate the intervention effect of diacerein on bone mass loss in ovariectomized(OVX) rats.DESIGN,TIME AND SETTING:The complete randomized controlled experiment was performed in the Laboratory of Experimental Animal Center of Chongqing Medical University from August to November 2008.MATERIALS:Forty female,3-month-old,Sprague Dawley rats were randomly divided into sham operation,OVX,diacerein 10mg,100 mg/(kg?d) groups,with 10 animals in each group.Anbiding capsule(contains 48.1 mg diacerein in each 50 mg capsule) was produced by Kunming Jida Pharmaceutical Co.,Ltd,with batch number of 20070532.METHODS:All rats received ovariectomy exception the sham operation group.Rats of sham operation group were only received a little fatty tissue removal around the ovary,and sutured the skin.Diacerein was intragastric administrated at the second day after the ovariectomy in the diacerein 10mg,100 mg/(kg?d) groups,equivalent volume of normal saline was administrated in the sham operation,OVX groups.Then all rats were killed under anesthesia to collect the blood and skeleton samples after 10 weeks continue medication.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES:Bone mineral density of the right femur and the third lumbar vertebra were determined by Dual-Energy X-ray bone densitometry.The levels of interleukin-1?,interleukin-6 in bone tissue and the level of serum osteocalcin were determined by radio-immunity assay.RESULTS:All rats were involved in the final analysis.The levels of bone mineral density in two diacerein groups were higher than that in the OVX group(P 0.05).CONCLUSION:The bone loss is obviously 10 weeks later after ovariectomy.Diacerein has intervention effect on bone loss induced by increase of bone absorption in OVX rats,which have no significant effects on bone formation mediated by osteoblast.

Improvements in severe burn and trauma care have enabled patients to survive massive bums and severe injury that would have once been fatal.Now up to 40%-70% of patients develop hypertrophic scars after bums and trauma.The functional and psychosocial sequelae remain a major rehabilitative challenge,decreasing quality of life and delaying reintegration into society.So far,including surgical treatment,existing scar treatments have different degrees of limitations.In recent years,flap surgery and wound repair technology develop rapidly,such as perforator flap,flap dilation techniques,autologous scar composite skin,negative pressure wound treatment technology,the new technology of 3D and 4D bioprinting technology etc.These new technologies provide high quality tissue repair materials for clinical treatment of scar repair have a broad prospect of clinical application,and have achieved more satisfactory clinical repair treatment effect.The future need is to further strengthen the practice and innovation of scar repair,and the basic research and clinical application of scar should be strengthened and combined closely.The new elucidation of the scar prevention and therapeutic strategies should be put foward to improve the prognosis of patients with scar and the quality of life.
4.Research advances on colon cancer stem cells

Colon cancer stem cells(Co-CSCs)are a small fraction of subgroup cells,which show the capabilities of self-renewal,proliferation and differentiation in colon cancer.Co-CSCs are tumorgenic,and they play an important role in the genesis development and metastasis of tumor.These studies of Co-CSCs may help developing effective targets and novel strategies for clinical tumor therapy.

7.Mechanisms of action, resistance, and countermeasures of targeted therapy in advanced renal cell carcinoma

With the increasingly deepening research on the molecular regulatory mechanisms during the development and progres-sion of advanced renal cell carcinoma, the targeted therapy directed on the key proteinase/protein in the molecular signaling pathways significantly improves the management outcomes. However, the occurring resistance during therapy with targeted agents leads to de-creasing effects. The mechanisms of action, resistance, and countermeasures of targeted therapy in advanced renal cell carcinoma are simply reviewed.

Corydalis yanhusuo W. T. Wang ex Z. Y. Su et C. Y. Wu is an aperennial herb which grous wild in Anhui Province. The tuber of the plants is used as an anodyne. Cultivation of the plant with seeds obtained from the wild was carried out in our nursery breeding house. Results showed that the emergence rate depends upon the size and ripeness of the seed. Although it is a dicotyledon,yet its seedling showed only a single cotyledon. Secretary tissues could be found in its cuticular layer. Cambium was well developed but both xylem and phleom were not well developed
9.Efficacy and safety of probiotics combined with kangfuxin solution in treatment of mild and moderate active ulcerative colitis

Objective To explore the efficacy and safety of probiotics combined with kangfuxin solution in treatment of mild and moderate active ulcerative colitis.Methods 80 cases of patients with mild and moderate active ulcerative colitis(UC)in Nanyang Central Hospital were divided into two groups according to order of admission,each group had 40 cases.The study group of patients were treated with probiotics combined with kangfuxin solution,while the control group of patients were given probiotics alone.All patients were treated for eight weeks,to compare comprehensive efficacy and colonoscopy disease activity score between two groups of patients. Results The total effective rate of the study group was 97.5%,significantly higher than 80%of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05 );The colonoscopy disease activity score of the study group after treatment was significantly lower than before treatment and of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05 );The two groups of patients had no serious adverse reactions.Conclusion Probiotics combined with kangfuxin solution has a significant efficiency in treatment of active mild and moderate ulcerative colitis.
10.ANALYSIS OF EXPRESSION PATTERNS OF NUCLEIC ACID AND THEIR DERIVATIVE METABOLISM,PROCESSING AND TRANSPORT-RELATED GENES DURING RAT LIVER REGENERATION

Objective To study the expression changes and patterns of nucleic acid and their derivative metabolism,processing and transport-related genes in rat liver regeneration(LR) at transcriptional level. Methods The related genes were obtained by online data collection and literature review,and gene expression patterns in rat regenerated liver were checked by Rat Genome 230 2.0 array.LR-related genes were identified through the comparison of discrepancles in gene expression between partial hepatectomy(PH) and sham operation(SO) groups. Results 240 genes were determined to be related with liver regeneration.The number of initially expressive genes in the forepart of liver regeneration(0.5-4 hours after PH),prophase(6-12 hours after PH),metaphase(16-66 hours after PH),anaphase(72-168 hours after PH) were 65,14,150,11 respectively and the total expression numbers were 133,87,627,169 respeitirely.There were 6,5,22 and 9 expression patterns.Frequencies of up-regulation and down-regulation were 768 and 248.mRNA catabolism in prophase and metaphase,DNA recombination,modification and transcript,mRNA processing and transport in prophase,metaphase and anaphase,and nucleotides and their derivatives metabolism,as well as DNA replication,packaging and catabolism during the whole LR,were enhanced.Conclusion LR-related genes were mainly triggered in the forepart of liver regeneration,and funclioned at different phases.
