Electronic multimedia teaching has expanded greatly in recent years. Teaching quality is closely relevant to the utilization of the electronic resource. There is a notablely rapid popularization of electronic entertainment equipment among college students during the past years. This trend can be used to assist college English teaching.

In view of the present situation of medical English vocabulary teaching, we propose to apply the picture teaching method to the teaching of English vocabulary. Picture application process is:teaching ideas - picture searching - picture introduction - question design - example sentence (implica-tions) introduction. We also analyze how to apply pictures related to Chinese and western culture, anecdotes and oddities, stars and celebrities, and common diseases to medical English vocabulary teaching according to the features and interest of the students, so as to activate the knowledge the students already acquired, to achieve good teaching effect through interaction between the teacher and students and to help the students have a solid command of medical English vocabulary taught in class.

Objective:To study on the changes of the ratio of serum NEFA/ALB in children with primary nephrotic syndrome , and to provide new indicators for the diagnosis and severity assessment of clinical PNS .Methods:The levels of serum albumin ( ALB) , free fatty acid (NEFA),urea nitrogen(BUN),uric acid(UA),creatinine(Scr),total cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG),low density lipoprotein cholesterol ( LDL-C) ,high density lipoprotein cholesterol ( HDL-C) were quantitatively measured in 52 patients with PNS in acute stage ( acute stage group ) and 34 patients with PNS in complete remission ( remission stage group ) and 50 healthy children ( con-trol group).The lipid/lipoprotein and renal function parameters were also analyzed .Results: Compared with controls group ,the levels of serum ALB,HDL-C in acute group and remission group decreased significantly ( P<0.05 ) ,but the levels of serum NEFA/ALB,TC, TG,LDL-C,UA,BUN,Scr in acute group increased significantly ( P<0.05 ) ,the levels of serum TG ,LDL-C in acute group increased significantly (P<0.05).Compared with remission group,the levels of serum ALB in acute group decreased significantly (P<0.05), but the levels of serum NEFA/ALB,TC,TG,LDL-C,UA,BUN,Scr increased significantly (P<0.05).In PNS children,the ratio of NEFA to ALB was positively correlated with the levels of TC ,TG,LDL-C,UA,BUN (P<0.05),while negatively correlated with ALB (P<0.05).Multiple linear regression analysis showed that the ratio of NEFA to ALB had an independent association with BUN levels (β=0.045,t=1.602,P=0.003).Conclusion:In the development process of PNS disease ,serum ratio of NEFA to ALB increased in-dicates impaired kidney function or reduced kidney function ,and it can help doctor assess and judge the clinical condition .

Hedging is an important component of vague language. This paper retrieves high frequency expressions of hedgingby using medical English corpus. Pragmatic functions of hedging are analyzed, which can be summarized as politeness principle, authors' self-protection, avoidance of the absolute, pursuit of objectiveness as well as conversational implication. To medical researchers, it is necessary to cultivate the awareness of hedging and learn how to adopt it in their research papers.

Squeezing and smear method was used to detect Demodex infection for college students,the overall infection rate was 30.81% with Demodex folliculorum as the major one,D.brevis and mixed infection as the second ones.Certain relations were found between facial signs,lipid content and the infection.Prevalence was higher in those students who used to share washing materials(towels,etc.)with family members.

Driven by information technology,medical English classes are becoming more plural and autonomous. However,how can the application of modern information technology assist class teaching more effectively? This paper explores into the internal cause and external cause while collecting real-time videos for English classes,the influence of system platform on English learning as well as the realization of the platforms.

The study applied the model of authorized leadership to emergency night nursing in large general hospitals in order to explore the effect of such management. As it turned out, the evaluation of the administrators means of authorization by the three groups of research subjects averaged respectively 20 70,20 62 and 20 05, and the evaluation of the effect of authorization averaged respectively 79 80,78 39 and 83 55. The results indicate that the administrators means of authorization were basically rational and sound and the managerial abilities of those with authorized leadership were appreciated by the emergency night doctors and nurses. Thus management of emergency night nursing by those with authorized leadership may lead to improved efficiency and quality.

OBJECTIVE Chronic ulcers on the limbs are a common problem in diabetic patients with pathological changes in nerve and vessels.Such ulcers can result in disablement and may even be life-threatening.The treatment of these chronic ulcers is a difficult issue in current medical practice.The development of an effective and easily handled treatment is,therefore,an important topic in the management of diabetes to improve patients′ quality of life.
