The aim of our study was to investigate the effectof mannitol on treatment of brain edema.Focal ischemic brain edema model was established by left middle cerebral artery occlusion(LMCAO) .The ratswere divided into 1 1 group. Each ratwasintravenously injected with2 0 % mannitol(0 .5 g/ kg within1 0 minutes) .The dose of mannitol was differ- ent.One dose of mannitol at1 2 h,1 6 h,2 0 h,2 4h after L MCAO,three doses, five doses, seven doses of mannitol at 2 4h after L MCAO.Again respective control animals were 1 2 h,1 6 h, 2 0 h,2 4h after L MCAO.Brain water content(BWC) ,morphological changes and ischemic size were used to evaluate the brain edema. The result showed that the BWC reduced in damaged brain atone dose, three doses, five doses of mannitol,(P

Objective To explore the effect of application of continue performance test (CPT) in screening of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder( ADHD ). Methods Thirty-five children with ADHD and65 normal children had been applied with CPT and Conner questionnaire test. Used rank sum test to examine the outcome, established receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve, analyzed the most valuable index among various data, formulated abnormal critical value, and carried on a consistency check between CPT screening outcome and clinical diagnosis outcome. Results Each CPT index of 35 children with ADHD was obviously higher than those of normal children(P< 0.05 ). Most indexes' area under the ROC curve exceeded 0.7, reactive time of VST was the highest among each index which achieved 0.915. It was high conformity between CPT screening outcome and clinical diagnosis outcome (Kappa = 0.935 ). Conclusion CPT can be applied in ADHD screening.

Objective To compare the effect of GammaTM wet wipes and 75% alcohol on the disinfection of X-ray protective clothing, and provide reference for choosing rational disinfection methods. Methods 62 pieces of X-ray protective clothing were selected,30 were from operating rooms,32 from catheterization room.Protective clothing were randomly divided into trial group and control group, each had 31 pieces.Trial group disinfected clothing with GammaTM wet wipes, control group disinfected clothing with 75% alcohol, disinfection effect, drying time, and cost between both groups were compared. Results Average bacterial colony counts in trial group and control group before disinfection were 2.38 CFU/cm2 and 2.36 CFU/cm2 respectively, qualified rates were 80.64% and 83.87%respectively.Bacteria were not detected in both groups after disinfection. The average drying time in trial group was shorter than control group([352.35±9.93]s vs[676.13±10.62]s,t=123.98,P <0.01).The cost of disinfecting X-ray protective clothing in trial group was 29.60% less than control group. Conclusion Effect of GammaTM wet wipes and 75% alcohol on disinfecting X-ray protective clothing are both reliable, compared with 75% alcohol, GammaTM wet wipes are without corrosion, have shorter drying time, and save more cost.

Objective:
To investigate the effect of square dance on bone mineral density and osphyarthrosis and gonitis in postmenopausal women.
Methods:
The postmenopausal women who danced on a square in the Second Hospital of Wuxi Affiliated to Nanjing Medical University from January 2014 to January 2015 were selected and divided into different groups by age. Each group of subjects received the bone mineral density test of their lumbar vertebral body 1-3, so as to analyze the difference between the bone mineral density of each vertebral body and the corresponding age, as well as the relationship between the age and the bone mineral density. The bone mineral density of their lumbar vertebrae was measured one year later, and the incidence rates of osphyarthrosis and gonitis were observed, thus the influence of square dancing on bone mineral density and the incidence of osphyarthrosis and gonitis of postmenopausal women was studied.
Results:
There was statistically significant difference in the bone mineral density for lumbar vertebrae of different age groups(

Objective To assess and compare the incidence, clinical characteristics, treatment, and prognosis of acute heart failure patients from different grades hospitals in Beijing. Methods In this prospective internet prognosis registered study (Beijing AHF Registry),a total of 3 335 consecutive patients admitted to 14 emergency departments in Beijing from January 1st 2011 to September 23rd 2012 were enrolled.According to hospital grade, these patients were divided into two groups,349 patients were from secondary hospitals, and 2 956 patients were from tertiary hospitals. Results Among the 3 335 patients, the medium age was 71 (58,79) years, and male accounted for 53.16%.The most common underlying disease were coronary disease (43.27%),hypertension (17.73%),cardiomyopathy (16.07%) etc.The average treatment time in Emergency Department was 66.82 h.The emergency department mortality rate was 3.81% (127 cases). The 30-day and 1-year cumulative all-cause mortality were 15.3% and 32.27%,respectively.The 30-day and 1-year cumulative all-cause readmission were 15.64% and 46.89%,respectively.Compared with patients in tertiary hospitals, patients in secondary hospitals had more onset acute heart failure patients (63.64% vs.49.93%),shorter emergency department treatment time (12 h vs.41 h),lower discharge rate (3.43% vs.37.45%) and emergency department mortality(1.58% vs.4.09%).Compared with those in tertiary hospitals,1-year cumulative all-cause mortality (25.6% vs.33.2%),cardiovascular disease mortality (20.2% vs.26.0%),aggravated heart failure mortality (22.4% vs.28.8%) were lower in secondary hospitals.Following propensity score matching, compared to tertiary hospitals, patients in secondary hospitals showed lower utilization rate of beta-blockers and ACEFARB (4.51% vs.28.17%,1.41% vs.9.58%),except the pironolactone. Conclusion Acute heart failure in emergency department is associated with a high mortality rate and readmission rate. There is still a big gap between guidelines recommend medication current treatments for acute heart failure.
