Objective To study the advances in research of breast cancer during pregnancy. Methods The literatures in recent years were reviewed. Results A lot of evidences suggested that the diagnosis may be delayed easily. The diagnosis was primarily made by needle aspiration cytology and biopsy. The treatment of pregnant breast cancer was not different from ordinary breast cancer, however the factor of foetus should be taken into account. Termination of pregnancy did not improve survival.Conclusion Pregnant breast cancer is mostly at later stage at the time of diagnosis and has poorer prognosis than ordinary breast cancer. The patients with breast cancer during pregnancy usually have an equivalent survival rate when compared with age and stage-matched ordinary group. Future pregnancy may be allowed after two years of treatment in patients with early breast cancer.

Objective To explore the surgical treatment of posttraumatic epilepsy in functional cerebral area Methods After preoperative evaluation,nineteen patients with intractable posttraumatic epilepsy of functional cerebral area underwent multiple subpial transaction under the electrocorticogram monitoring during the operation, combining with anterior corpus callosotomy, anterior temporal lobectomy and selective amygdalo-hippocampectomy. Results The follow-up results showed seizures of these patients improved considerably. According to Engel' s grading,among 19 cases,10 cases were grade Ⅰ ,7 cases were grade Ⅱ ,2 cases were grade Ⅲ ,and no cases were grade Ⅳ. Conclusions The satisfactory clinical outcome of the surgical treatment of intractable posttraumatic epilepsy in functional cerebral area could be obtained with the help of careful preoperative evaluation and multiple subpial transaction under the electrocorticogram monitoring.

Objective To explore the method for differentiation induction of leukemia cells into dendritic cells(DC) by A23187 in vitro. Methods Chronic myeloid leukemia K562 cells were cultured with A23187 or cytokine to induce differentiation and form DC. The morphologic features of cells were observed under inverted microscope, the changes of DC surface marks were determined by flow cytometry and RT-PCR, the ability to stimulate lymphocyte proliferation was tested by MTT colorimetry. Results Under the condition of the does (385 ng/ml) of A23187 for four days, some of K562 cells were found in typical dendritic appearance.The expression of DC markers CD1a,CD83 ,HLA-DR,CD86 and CD80 was 6.65 ±2.70,7.37 ±2.40,6.24 ±4.29, 21.60 ± 3.84, 18.52 ± 4.48 repectively, and increased obviously compared with the negative control group(2.80 ±0.52,1.85 ±0.56,2.25 ±0.47,6.69 ±0.83,9.96 ±3.53). The differences had statistical significance (P < 0.05). K562 cells derived from DC acquired the ability to stimulate lymphocyte proliferation.Conclusion A23187 can induce the leukemia cells differenntiation into activated DC-like cells rapidly.

Abstarct:Objective To evaluate mid-term efficacy and complications of Prestige LP cervical disc arthroplasty ( CDA) for treatment of single-level cervical spondylotic myelopathy .Methods Retrospectively analyzed the clinical data of 29 patients who underwent Prestige LP cervical disc arthroplasty from June 2009 to December 2013 and were followed up for 2 to 6 years.Among them, there were 19 males and 10 females, and the average age was (45.4 ±7.6)years old (ranged from 28 to 58 years old).Cardinal symptom of spinal compression occured in 20 cases of them,and nerve root compression occured in the other 9 cases.Clinical symptoms and functional outcomes were evaluated with Japanese Orthopaedic Association(JOA) scores,neck and arm visual analog scale(VAS) scores,and Neck Disability Index(NDI).Oerpation segmental range of motion(ROM) were evaluated with follow-up dynamic X-ray.Displacement,subsidence of the prosthesis,heterotopic ossifi-cation(HO) and other complications were also investigated .Results The 29 patients were followed up for 24 to 66 months,(35.5 ±10.4) months averagely .At the final follow-up,the JOA score,NDI,Neck-VAS and Arm-VAS were (15.62 ±1.12) points,(14.65 ±5.68)%,(1.93 ± 1.10) points,and (0.76 ±0.99) points respectively,which were significant improved compared with (12.03 ±2.23) points,(42.52 ± 16.31)%,(5.00 ±2.22) points,and (4.59 ±3.18) points preoperatively,and the differences were of statistical significance (P<0.05). The opreation segmental ROM was (7.37 ±3.11)°,which was better remained compared with (8.50 ±3.35)°before operation.After the surgery,there were 1 case of forward displacement ,3 cases of backward displacement ,1 case of subsidence of the prosthesis ,3 cases of adja-cent segment degenerations ,and 14 cases of heterotopic ossification .Conclusion The mid-term efficacy and safety of Prestige LP cervical disc arthroplasty is fine .But there is a high incidence of the prosthesis-related complications which may counteract the function of protecting the adjacent segment .Therefore,the indication,operation skills and perioperative period management of cervical disc arthroplasty are impor -tant aspects to avoid the adverse effect .

Objective To study the effect of hyaluronidase and VEGF on human breast cancer invasion and metastasis. Methods By means of ELSA and immunohistochemistry, hyaluronidase and VEGF were detected in breast cancer. Results Hyaluronidase were (3.99?1.91) mU/g, (8.01?2.59) mU/g and (12.00?3.96) mU/g in gradeⅠ, Ⅱ, Ⅲ of breast cancer respectively. Objective To compare the effect of radionuclide bone imaging and MRI in locating responsible vertebrae after osteoporotic vertebral compressive fractures (OVCF).Methods A retrospective analysis was made on 25 patients with OVCF treated by percutaneous kyphoplasty (PKP)from May 2015 to December 2015.There were 4 males and 21 females,at age range of 63-87 years [(73.3 ±6.16)years].The fractured vertebrae included 2 T4,3 T5,2 T6,2 T7,5 T8,3 T9,3 T10,7 T11,9 T12,11 L1,10 L2,2 L3,5 L4 and 1 L5.Cervical imaging examinations (X-ray,bone mineral density,MRI,radionuclide bone imaging) were performed on admission.Oswestry disability index (ODI) and visual analogue scale (VAS) were estimated before operation and 1 d after operation.Results of MRI and radionuclide bone imaging were compared.Results A total of 64 vertebrae were included in our study.Thirty-six vertebrae were recognized as fresh OVCFs by MRI,and 40 by radionuclide bone imaging.Kappa-test indicated the results of the examination methods were statistically significant (P ＜0.05).Specificity (96.6％) and accuracy (98.4％) of MRI were higher than radionuclide bone imaging bone scan (82.8％,92.2％).Conclusions Radionuclide bone imaging has a high consistency with MRI in locating responsible vertebrae after OVCF,but MRI is associated with higher specificity and accuracy.In exceptional cases,radionuclide bone imaging can partly replace MRI as a way to locate OVCF.

Objective To evaluate the clinical significance of chronic hepatitis B (CHB) with concurrent hepatitis e antigen (HBeAg) and antibody (anti-HBe) during antiviral therapy. Methods A total of 115 CHB patients with concurrent HBeAg and anti-Hbe detection during antiviral therapy were enrolled in this retrospective study. All patients received pegylated-IFN-alpha-2a (Peg-IFNα-2a, n = 50) or entecavir (ETV, n = 65) for antiviral treatment. Their biochemical virological and serological response and clinical outcome were detected and analyzed. Results Among the patients treated with Peg-IFNα-2a, 31 (62.0%) achieved HBeAg seroconversion and 6 (12.0%) achieved HBsAg seroconversion at the end of treatment. About 35.4% of patients, who received ETV, achieved HBeAg seroconversion and none of them achieved HBsAg seroconversion at the end of treatment (P < 0.05). Conclusion High rates of HBeAg seroconversion and HBsAg loss could be achieved in CHB patients, with co-existence of HBeAg and anti-HBe, who received Peg-IFNα-2a, but not ETV therapy.

Objective To conduct a Meta?analysis to compare the safety and short?term efficacy of laparoscopic assisted distal gastrectomy (LADG)and open distal gastrectomy(ODG)in D2 radical surgeries for locally advanced distal gastric cancer. Methods The literatures from Janurary,1990 to August,2014 on the evaluation of safety and short?term efficacy of LADG versus ODG in D2 radical surgeries for locally advanced distal gastric cancer were collected. The quality of the enrolled articles was evaluated and the software Revman 5.2 was adopted to analyze the cura?tive effect. Results Totally 25 articles met the inclusion criteria,including 5 044 patients with treatment of D2 radical surgeries for locally advanced distal gastric cancer. There was no significant difference in the cleaning number of lymph nodes between LADG and ODG in patients undergoing D2 radical surgeries for locally advanced distal gastric cancer. The operation time was longer for LADG than ODG,but the postoperative evaluation in?dexes such as the intraoperative blood loss and the short?term efficacy of LADG were superior to ODG. Conclusion In the treatment of locally ad?vanced distal gastric cancer,there were differences in the safety and short?term efficacy between LADG and ODG,and surgeons should give concern to these differences in clinical practice to select appropriate surgical approaches. Further research is still needed to explore the long?term efficacy.

ObjectiveTo study the CT values of certain phantoms scanned by various CT scanners with dissimilar parameters.Methods The CT values of tissue equivalent inserts was measured in the TM164 and CIRS-062 phantom scanned by TOSHIBA AQUILIONTM,SIEMENS SOMATOMTMSENSATIONTM 64 and SIEMENS SOMATOMTM SENSATIONTM OPEN with different voltages,currents and slice thicknesses and then the corresponding CT-to-density curves was compared. Results There are no significant differences of CT values with various currents and slice thicknesses and also for low atom number materials scanned by different scanners with various tube voltages.The CT values of high atom number materials have obvious differences scanned with tube voltage,the maximum is about 400 HU.There are also significant differences between CT-density curves of two phantoms in the range from soft tissues to dense bone,the maximum is up to 500 HU.ConclusionsCT-density curves were highly affected by materials of phantoms,scanners and tube voltages.It is necessary to measure the curve with a comfortable phantom and certain scanner to assure the accuracy for dose calculation for treatment planning system.
