1.Optimization of Formula of Compound Xylocaine Cream
China Pharmacy 2007;0(28):-
OBJECTIVE:To optimize the formula of compound xylocaine cream.METHODS:Orthogonal design was employed to optimize the amount of each component in the formula of compound xylocaine cream, and the pain threshold improvement rate in pain-relieving experiment of mice and the mice ear edema inhibition rate in the anti-inflammatory experiment served as indexes to optimize the formula, meanwhile a verification test was conducted.RESULTS:The optimized formula was as follows:xylocaine 20 g,chlorphenamine maleate 5 g,menthol 20 g,mupirocin 20 g in every 1 000 g cream. Both the pain threshold improvement rate and the ear edema inhibition rate in mice were all higher than 60%,which were up to the standard.CONCLUSION:The formula for compound xylocaine cream is reasonable, and this study provids experimental basis for clinical application of compound xylocaine cream.

Objective To establish an autoregression moving average (ARMA) model for predicting general traffic accidents and analyzing distributional difference on time series and frequency of common traffic accident so as to provide certain basis for a prediction model with better stability and accuracy. Methods The data of road traffic accidents in one newly developed zone of Chongqing in 2000-2005 were collected. The monthly distribution regularity of road traffic accidents was analyzed with descriptive epidemiologic method. ARMA model was set up for retrospective and prospective prediction. The predicted data were compared. Results Based on the characteristics of monthly distribution, the frequency of general traffic accidents in this area showed a cyclic fashion. The frequency of general traffic accidents predicted by ARMA model had over 80% of coincidence with the actual value. Conclusion The ARMA model can be used to predict the frequency of general traffic accidents, with better accuracy of short-term prediction than the long-term prediction.

Objective To study the clinical effects of Yinlian Qufeng decoction in the treatment of chronic urticaria (CU) and the effects on the changes of serum IgE and T cell subsets (CD4+, CD8+). Methods 96 patients were randomly divided into two groups, treatment group and control group, with 48 cases in each group. The treatment group was treated with Yinlian Qufeng decoction, while the control group was treated with desloratadine dispersible tablets for 8 weeks. The clinical symptom score, TCM syndrome score and quality of life [skin disease quality of life index (DLQI)] of the two groups were evaluated before and after treatment. The serum levels of IgE and CD4+ and CD8+ were measured by ELISA and flow cytometry. Clinical effect was observed and the rate of adverse reactions was counted. Results There was no statistically difference between two groups in clinical symptom scores, TCM syndrome scores, DLQI, the levels of IgE, CD4+, CD8+, and the ratio of CD4+/CD8+ before treatment (P>0.05). After treatment, the clinical symptoms, TCM syndromes and DLQI were reduced in both groups. The treatment group had lower scores than that in control group with statistical significance(P < 0.05). CD4+ level and ratio of CD4+/CD8+ were increased, while IgE and CD8+ levels were decreased in both groups after treatment with statistical significance (P < 0.01). The changes of above indexes in the treatment group were better than those in the control group with statistical significance (P < 0.01). The effective rates of the two groups were 91.67% and 77.08% and rates of adverse reactions were 6.25% and 20.83% separately with statistical difference (P < 0.05). Conclusion Yinlian Qufeng decoction can effectively regulate the cellular immune function, alleviate the disease symptoms and improve life quality with few adverse reactions. This decoction deserves the promotion for clinical application.

OBJECTIVE:To promote the realization of intelligent management for narcotic and first type psychotropic drugs (narcotic and psychotropic drugs for short)in hospital. METHODS:With the aid of fingerprint identification technology and hardware devices such as intelligent storage cabinet, intelligent management for narcotic and psychotropic drugs were designed and developed in our hospital, including prescription dispensing, cardinal drug supplement, empty bottle recycling, changing shifts, etc. The effects of the system were evaluated 30 d before and after the implementation of the system through comparing related indexes. RESULTS:The application of intelligent management system for narcotic and psychotropic drugs realized intelligent dispensing of narcotic and psychotropic drugs, automatic checking during cardinal drug supplement, automatic information record during empty bottle recycling, automatic record during changing shifts, intelligent and information management on"five specific management"for narcotic and psychotropic drugs. Compared with before the implementation of the system, the duration of daily changing shifts was shortened from(13.62±0.40)min to(8.67±0.33)min,shortening by 4.95 min in average(n=30).The time of prescription dispensing was shortened from(30.36±0.48)min to(10.56±0.46)min,shortening by 19.80 min(n=30). The collecting time of cardinal drug supplement was shortened from(12.72±0.97)min to(0.13±0.03)min,shortening by 12.59 min (n=30). No drug dispensing error was found after the implementation of the system. CONCLUSIONS:The system is stable and convenient, which promotes that intelligent management for narcotic and psychotropic drugs is in line with the requirements of"five specific management". It also realizes intelligent and information operation, improves work efficiency and error prevention ability.

Objective:To explore the safety and clinical value of ultrasound-guided percutaneous core needle biopsy in the diagnosis of cardiac intermural tumors and pericardial tumors. Methods:Seven patients who underwent ultrasound-guided percutaneous cardiac tumors needle biopsy in Fujian Provincial Hospital from January 2012 to December 2019 were selected for this study. The locations and sizes of the lesions were recorded preoperatively by echocardiography and the operation time was recorded by conventional ultrasonography. The postoperative complications was followed up, and the satisfaction of pathological materials was used as the evaluation standard to comprehensively analyze the safety and clinical application value of ultrasound-guided percutaneous biopsy in the diagnosis of cardiac tumors.Results:Ultrasound-guided percutaneous biopsy was performed successfully in all the 7 cases, 3 of them were intermural tumors and 4 of them were pericardial tumors. Except for 2 patients with diffuse pericardial space, the maximum diameter of the remaining 5 patients was (58.6±23.5)mm. Six cases were punctured from the apex of the heart, and 1 case from the left parasternal through third intercostal space toward the bottom of the heart as the needle pathway. The satisfaction of pathological material was 100%, and the time of procedure was (15.1±3.3)min. There were no postoperative complications such as bleeding, infection or arrhythmia.Conclusions:Ultrasound-guided percutaneous transthoracic needle biopsy is safe and feasible, which provides a simple and easy method for the biopsy of cardiac intramural tumors and pericardial tumors.
