OBJECTIVE To decrease the infection rate in intensive care unit(ICU) effectively. METHODS To analyze the reason of infection in ICU,such as the infection of respiratory tract, the infection of urinary system, the vascular infection after therapy, and the infection of alimentary tract, and to raise the control measure of nursing. RESULTS To pay attention to the arrangement and setting in ICU,the implementation of the regulation of nursing strictly, the intravascular therapy, the correct realizing of nursing procedure, and the reinforcement of nursing management,in order to keep the low infection rate. CONCLUSIONS All nursing measure raised/above is very useful for the hospital infection control in ICU.

OBJECTIVE To advocate the establishment of a hospital center for intravenous drug preparation,in order to control infection caused by intravenous infusion.METHODS The unsafe factors brought by traditional distributed intravenous drug preparation were analyzed and propose the necessity and importance of the establishment of pharmacy intravenous admixture center.RESULTS Without any case of transfusion reaction occurred for 3 years, the Pharmacy intravenous admixture center could ensure the safety of patients.CONCLUSIONS Pharmacy intravenous admixture center plays an important role in providing the aseptic environment, shortening the preparatory time after the liquid stored and ensuring that the liquid is not contaminated.

OBJECTIVE To improve the quality of venous infusion and reduce the incidence of hospital infection.METHODS We analyzed the factors of hospital infection resulted from venous infusion.RESULTS The main factors were pollution or degeneration of the liquid, over standard of the bacterial number in prepared or infused environment, disobeying the operating instruction of venous infusion and unsuitable operating method.CONCLUSIONS The measures to prevent hospital infection are holding the key step of venous infusion, constructing and executing the management system of sterilization and isolation, reducing the chance of bacterium pollution, paying attention to the sterile operation through venous infusion, fostering the well working style and improving the links of infusing operation. We reduced the infusion reaction and the incidence of hospital infection effectively.

OBJECTIVE To ensure the lustration of atmosphere in the admixture room of pharmacy intravenous admixture service(PIVAS).METHODS We adopted strict nosocomial infection administration in PIVAS management and maintenance of the cleaning procedure. At the same time,we taken disinfection measurement and management of the staff, articles and operation criteria strictly.RESULTS Every supervision items had reached the government standards since the PIVAS was put into clinical use 3 years ago and the intravenous infusion reactions had not happened.CONCLUSIONS These administration measures can ensure the lustration of atmosphere to reach the standard effectively.

OBJECTIVE To save the acute radiation sickness patients by preventing nosocomial infection and implementing environment protection of the wards.METHODS The results of air and the object surface in the wards, the workers′ hands detecting and sampling after improving environment protection were compared with those four days before improving it.RESULTS The problems were solved by the improverent of the new systems, rigorous training of the workers, air disinfecting, object surface management and their working process.CONCLUSIONS Discovering problems, seeking causes and solutions and the standardized administration of the environment in the wards are important to save the acute radiation sickness patients by environment protecting and keep safety of patients.
7. Immune response of human umbilical vein endothelial cell to recombinant hemagglutinin protein of influenza virus
Chinese Journal of Experimental and Clinical Virology 2017;31(6):483-486
Objective:
To investigate the innate immunity of cultured human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVEC) after recombinant hemagglutinin (HA) protein of influenza virus innoculation.
Methods:
HUVECs were divided into four groups: control, H9N2 viral particle, recombinant H3HA and recombinant H5HA. After 24 h of innoculation, the supernatant of the culture was extracted and the HUVECs were lysed. The levels of cytokine in HUVEC were measured by real-time PCR and ELISA.
Results:
The mRNA and protein expression of

Objective To investigate the effects of mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) copy number in peripheral blood and related factors on the risk of hypertension in coal miners. Methods A case-control study was conducted in 378 coal miners with hypertension and 325 healthy coal miners recruited from Datong Coal Mine Group.A standard questionnaire was used to collect their general information, such as demographic characteristics, habits and occupational history.Fluorescence quantitative PCR was performed to detect the copy number of mtDNA.Logistic regression model was applied for identifying the related risk factors of hypertension and analyzing the interaction between mtDNA copy number and risk factors. Results The prevalence of hypertension of high mtDNA copy number was lower than mtDNA copy numberin 0-5.67 group, but the difference was not statistically significant (P=0.414).Alcohol drinking (OR=1.80,95%CI:1.26-2.56),family history of hypertension (OR=1.74,95% CI:1.20-2.50),work shifts (OR=0.69,95% CI:0.48-0.99),education level (P=0.012) and family monthly income level (P=0.001) were related to the prevalence of hypertension. There were potential interactions between mtDNA copy number and alcohol drinking, family monthly income level, family history of hypertension, respectively.Alcohol drinking was a risk factor for hypertension [1.77(1.25-2.50)].Potential interactions between mtDNA copy number and alcohol drinking reduced the risk of hypertension (OR=1.20,95%CI:1.07-1.35).Family history of hypertension was a risk factor for hypertension [1.81(1.26-2.59)].Potential interactions between mtDNA copy number and family history of hypertension reduced the risk of hypertension (OR=1.24,95% CI:1.09-1.41).Family monthly income level was a protect factor for hypertension [0.55(0.46-0.66)].Potential interactions between mtDNA copy number and family monthly income level increased the protection role of hypertension (OR=0.90,95%CI:0.86-0.94).Conclusion mtDNA copy number variation was not significantly associated with the prevalence of hypertension in coal miners, but mtDNA copy number shewed multiplication interaction on the prevalence of hypertension with alcohol drinking, family monthly income level as well as family history of hypertension and made their influences weaken.

Chinese Journal of Experimental and Clinical Virology 2018;32(3):247-250
Objective:
To reveal the prevalence of human metapneumovirus (HMPV) among pediatric patients with acute respiratory infection (ARI).
Methods:
Nasopharyngeal aspirates were collected from hospitalized young children (1-5 years) diagnosed as ARI in Department of Respiratory Disease, Shanxi Provincial Children′s Hospital, Taiyuan city. The nucleoprotein (N) gene of HMPV was amplified by reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR). The positive products of PCR were sequenced, made homology and phylogenetic analysis.
Results:
One sample collected in Feb. 2017 and two samples collected in Nov. 2017 were HMPV positive in RT-PCR detection. The homologies of nucleic acid and deduced amino acid sequences of the three positive PCR products with the corresponding HMPV sequences in GenBank were over 83% and 90%, respectively. Phylogenetic analysis revealed that HMPV B1 subgenotype was detected.
Conclusions
HMPV B1 subgenotype was the major epidemic HMPV in young children with ARI in Taiyuan city.
