Objective To analyze the impact of allograft category on the result of living related donor kidney transplantation (LRKT)and to evaluate the predominant donors. Methods A retrospective analysis of 104 recipients receiving LRKT from Apr. 2004 to Mar. 2008 was performed. Based on donor resource, all the recipient-donor pairs were divided into four groups: spousal donation group, parental donation group, sibling donation group and cousinly donation group. The observational parameters were selected for analysis, such as average post-transplant hospitalization dates, time for serum creatinine (Scr) back to normal level, Scr levels of every observational time point, incidence of major complications (infection, rejection, DGF) and recipient/graft survival rate. Results Recipient/graft survival rate of sibling donation group seemed higher. Recipients of sibling donation group seemed to have fewer post-transplant hospitalization dates, but higher rates of infection, while those of parental donation group seemed to have higher rates of rejection. Rates of rejection and infection of spousal donation group were lower than supposed. There was no statistically significant difference in time for Scr back to normal level and Set levels of every observational time point among these four groups. Conclusions The result of sibling donor renal transplantation is better, while short-term outcome of spouse donor renal transplantation is ideal, which is similar with parent or cousin donor renal transplantation. Except for human leukocyte antigen, aspects such as quality of donor kidney, predominance during operation and self-administration post-transplant are also the guarantee for the success.

OBJECTIVE To explore the factors and effective preventive method of nosocomial lower respiratory(infection) after general anesthesia through trachea intubation.METHODS Using bacterial culture and identification technique to detect the samples collected from pipe and the sides of anesthetic machine, from disposable virus/(bacteri)a respiratory filter and buccal and bronchial secretion of patients with general anesthesia through trachea(intubation.) RESULTS Eight of 15 anesthetic machines without disinfection were with positive bacterial culture. All sides of virus/bacteria respiratory filter, and buccal and bronchial secretion of patients during operation had same(bacteria.) No bacteria growth was found in anesthetic machine and disposable virus/bacteria respiratory filter used after operation. The same bacteria as from buccal secretion were isolated from anesthetic machine in patients(without) using virus/bacteris respiratory filter.CONCLUSIONS The(results) showed the anesthetic machine is more easy to be contaminated by patients, and the reuse of anesthetic machine is an important factor for nosocomial(lower) respiratory infection after general anesthesia through trachea intubation.Intensifying periodic disinfection of(anesthetic) machine and using virus/bacteria respiratory filter can prevent contamination between anesthetic(machine) and patients and decrease nosocomial lower respiratory(infection) after operation.

Journal of Preventive Medicine 2022;34(7):715-719
Objective :
To investigate the prevalence of comorbid chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and osteoporosis (OP) and its influencing factors among residents aged 40 years and older in Zhangjiagang City, Jiangsu Province, so as to provide insights into prevention of comorbid COPD and OP.
Methods:
Permanent residents aged 40 years and older were sampled using a multi-stage stratified cluster random sampling method in Zhangjiagang City in 2019, and their pulmonary functions and bone mineral density were measured. The prevalence of comorbid COPD with OP was estimated. The demographic features, smoking, diet, exercises and physical examinations were collected, and factors affecting the prevalence of comorbid COPD with OP were identified using a logistic regression model.
Results:
Totally 3 140 subjects were enrolled, including 1 315 men (41.88%) and 1 825 women (58.12%), and a mean age of (62.89±9.13) years. A total of 137 subjects were detected with comorbid COPD and OP, with prevalence of 4.36%. The patients with COPD alone included 19 cases with mild, 133 cases with moderate, 87 cases with severe and 26 cases with very severe COPD, and the patients with comorbid COPD and OP included 10 cases with mild, 56 cases with moderate, 56 cases with severe and 15 cases with very severe COPD. The grade of pulmonary functions was higher in patients with comorbid COPD and OP than in patients with COPD alone (Z=-12.304, P<0.001). Multivariable logistic regression analysis identified ages of 65 years and older (OR=2.703, 95%CI: 1.862-3.923), women (OR=2.897, 95%CI: 1.915-4.384) and physical labor (OR=1.540, 95%CI: 1.083-2.189) as factors affecting the development of comorbid COPD and OP.
Conclusion
The prevalence of comorbid COPD and OP was 4.36% among residents at ages of 40 years and older in Zhangjiagang City, and moderate and severe degree was the predominant grade of pulmonary functions. The elderly, women and physical labors are at a high risk of developing comorbid COPD and OP.

A novel disposable three electrodes blood alcohol biosensor strip was fabricated by a screen printing technique. Multi-wall carbon nanotube(MWCNT), Meldola′s(MB), alcohol dehydrogenase(ADH)and nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide cofactor (NAD+) were modified on the surface of the carbon working electrode. Then hydrophilic membrane was stuck in the outermost of the three electrodes to make a reaction camera of 5 μL. Experimental results indicated that the biosensor possessed good accuracy and stability, the linear response range was 0.5-20 mmol/L with correlation coefficient of 0.9949, detection limit was 0.22 mmol/L, and the response time was less than 15 s. Some influencing factors to the biosensor were investigated, such as the pH, temperature and interferences. Correlation analysis showed that there was a significant correlation between the methods of biosensor and the headspace vapor phase chromatography in 10 whole blood samples(r=0.97583). Small volume whole blood sucked using siphonage to detect blood alcohol directly and quantitatively was the obvious character of the biosensor.

Objective To analyze the differential expression of proteins among patients with pancreatic cancer, chronic pancreatitis and choledocholithiasis in order to find potential biomarkers for diagnosis of pancreatic cancer and to differentiate pancreatic cancer from chronic pancreatitis. Methods The pancreatic juice were connected from 5 pancreatic cancer patients,6 chronic pancreatitis patients and 3 choledocholi-thiasis patients by naso-pancreatic drainage using endoscopic retrograde cholanglopancreatography(ERCP).The proteins in pooled pancreatic juice were separated by two-dimensional gel electrophoresis (2-DE).The differential expression of proteins were analyzed by image analysis software and identified by matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometry(MALDI-TOF-MS).Results ①There were 35-200 ml of pancreatic juice collected, and protein concentration were ranged from 0.8 to 4.6 μg/μl.The 2-DE showed that the protein spots in pancreatic cancer, chronic pancreatitis and choledocholithiasis juice were 196±12,209±15 and 199±10,respectively.The matched proteins among three groups all exceeded 75%.②MALDI-TOF-MS revealed that the expression of chain A of a covalent dimer of transthyretin in pancreatic cancer was up-regulated(>2-fold)while the expressions of chain A of crystal structure of lipid-free human apolipoproteinA-1,chain of human lithostathin and regenerating islet-derived 1 beta precursor were down-regulated. Conclusions Protein spectra are different in patients with pancreatic cancer, chronic pancreatitis and choledocholithiasis.Transthyretin,apolipoproteinA-1,human lithostathin and regenerating islet-derived 1 beta might be the biomarkers of human pancreatic cancer and may be useful in distinguishing pancreatic cancer from chronic panceatitis.
