Objective To study the the changes of serum tumor necrosis factor-?(TNF-?)and epidermal growth factor (EGF) in rats with experimental liver fibrosis and its significance. Methods All the SD rats were randomly divided into the normal group and the model group. The rats in the model group were subcutaneously injected with 40%CCl4 according to 0.3ml/100g body weight twice one week for the first four weeks, the initial dose was double. In the following five weeks, the rats were injected 40% CCl4 of 0.2ml/100g body weight twice one week. The rats in the normal group were subcutaneously injected with equal dosage of saline, mentioned aboveo. At the end of the ninth week, the serum was obtained, the levels of serum TNF-?, EGF were detected with radioimmunity, with HE stains, the severity of inflammation and fibrosis in all liver tissuses were measured by semiquantitative scoring. Results The fibrosis scorings, the levels of serum TNF-?, EGF in the model group were higher than that in the normal group, the difference between the two group was significance(P

[Objective] To study the protection and mechanism of mica granules to rats stomach mucosa injury caused by non-water ethanol.[Method] Randomly divide 48 healthy SD rats into high-,middle-and low-dosed groups of mica granules,Simida group, model control group and blank control group as well,i.e.6 groups. After fasting for 24h,separately make stomach perfusion of mica granules and Simida to all rats in advance;after 3h,make stomach perfusion of non-water ethanol 1ml/100g for stomach mucosa injury;45m later, take proper blood of lower vena cava, sacrifice them for stomach, then respectively test all mucosa injury index,SOD,MDA,and GSH-Px content in serum and mucosa, observe pathological changes to evaluate mucosa injury degree and medical function.[Result] In mica groups, the SOD and GSH-Px were markedly higher than that in model control group, but MDA was lower than later(P

OBJECTIVE To discuss the clinical characteristics of hospital infection and countermeasures urological surgery patients.METHODS The retrospective survey methods, statistical urology hospital infection rates, infection site, pathogen test results, the impact of infection on the prognosis and the risk factors for infection were analyzed.RESULTS The incidence of hospital infection was 9.30% and the infection sites were urinary tract(43),lower respiratory tract(16),upper respiratory tract(4),wound infection(10),gastrointestinal tract(antibiotic-associated diarrhea)(6) and oral cavity(1).The main pathogens(detection rate 76.05%) were Escherichia coli 20 cases,Klebsiella pneumoniae(8),coagulase-negative staphylococci in(6),Pseudomonas aeruginosa(5),Enterococcus(4),Proteus vulgaris(3),Staphylococcus aureus(2) and Candida albicans(6).The Older, the combined underlying diseases, the implementation of indwelling catheter, especially with a long time and long operation time, and hospital infections were the risk factors.Preventive use of antibiotics could not reduce hospital infections; The dead rate(3.75%) in infection group was higher than that in non-infected group(0.38%,P

Objective: To study the effect of flavonoids from seed residues of Hippophae rhamnoides L.( FSH) and Hippophae rhamnoides L. oil(HRO)on serum lipid in female rats with obesity. Methods Female aged rats with obesity were given FSH and HRO by oral administration for 6 w. Serum triglyceride(TG) and cholesterol(TC) were determined every 2 w. The serum free fatty acid (FFA), high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C),body weight and Lee’s index were measured after 6 w. Results: Serum TG and FFA level decreased significantly in rats given FSH. At the same time, FSH could inhibit the increase in body weight and Lee’s index. HRO could regulate the lipid metabolism and decrease serum TG level significantly in female aged rats with obesity. Conclusion: Both FSH and HRO can improve lipid metabolism in female aged rats with obesity.
