BACKGROUND: Fibronectin(FN) plays the role of repair in the inflammation. There is no confirmed conclusion whether it can be applied to the refractory corneal epithelial defect.OBJECTIVE: To observe the repair effect of the human plasma FN for the refractory corneal epithelial defect.DESIGN: A controlled experimental study.SETTING: Guangzhou Red Cross Hospital, Guangzhou First People's Hospital, Guangzhou Children's Hospital, Guangzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Guangzhou Second People's Hos pital.PARTICIPANTS: Totally 383 eyes with the refractory corneal epithelial defect were chosen, of which 309 were in the therapy group, and 74 in the control group.METHODS: The therapy group: Human plasma FN was administered by dropping it into the eyes once every two hours. The controlgroup: 10 g/L celacol M was administered by its dribbling into the eyes once every two hours. Weilesheng was taken orally in both groups, two pills once, three times per day. According to the state of illness, both groups received anti-bacterial or anti-viral treatment and reexamination was given every day or every other day after administration. 10 g/L fluorescein sodium was used to observe the changes of cornea.MAIN OUTCOSE MEASURES: The symptoms, results of staining using fluorescein sodium as well as the corneal epithelial healing of both groups.RESULTS: The symptoms, the results from staining using the fluorescein sodium and the corneal epithelial healing were used for the evaluation. In the therapy group, 309 eyes were followed up and the cure rate was 69.9%. The average therapeutic period was 6.5 days, while those of the control group were 58.1% and 8.7 days respectively. The difference in the curative effect between the two groups was significantly different( P＜0.01 ).CONCLUSION: The application of FN for the refractory corneal epithelial defect displays a more significant effect than conventional treatment.

Objective To explore the change of miRNA-16(miR-16) level in the patients with multiple my-eloma(MM ) and its relationship with the Mayo risk stratification and prognosis judgment .Methods Each 10 mL of bone marrow samples was collected from 31 cases of MM in the hematology department of the First Af-filiated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University from August 2016 to January 2017 ,and each 5 mL of bone marrow sample was collected from 5 healthy bone marrow donors as the healthy control .The real time fluores-cence quantitative PCR(qRT-PCR) was used to analyze relative the change of miR-16 relative expression level and fluorescence in situ hybridization(iFISH) was used to detect the abnormal gene .Then the relationship be-tween miR-16 relative expression level with Mayo based risk stratification ,and the difference of miR-16 rela-tive expression level between before and after self treatment were statistically analyzed .Results The miR-16 relative expression level in MM patients was increased and positively correlated with the Mayo risk stratifica-tion .Meanwhile in the MM patients with disease progression ,the miR-16 expression was increased . Conclusion miR-16may serve as the indicator for judging the recurrence or progression of MM ,and guides the clinical personalized therapy of MM according to its expression level change .

0bjective To investigate the relationships between the peripheral lung cancer and pulmonary vessels or bronchi by 16-row muhislice computed tomography(MSCT)and analyze the related factors.Methods Fifty-four patients with peripheral lung cancer confirmed pathologically underwent contrast-erdaanced MSC TI Multiplanar reformation(MPR)and maximum intensity projection(MIP)in all patients were used to demonstrate the relationships between the peripheral lung cancer and pulmonary vessels,bronchi.The relationships were categorized five types:Type 1,erupted at the edge of nodule. Type 2,erupted at the center of nodule.Type 3,penetrated through the nodule.Type 4,contacting the nodule but stretched or encased.Type 5,contacting the nodule but smoothly compressed.The pathology type,stage,size,density and location of the peripheral lung cancer were recorded and the relationships with five types were evaluated by using Chi-square test and correlation analysis.Results (1)Tumor-bronchi relationship:type 1(33,61.1%)was more often seen in≥2.0 cm and solid lesions with stage Ⅱ-Ⅳ.while Type 2(14,25.9%)was often seen in<2.0 am and part-solid or non-solid lesions with stage Ⅰ.(2)Tumor-PA relationship:Type 1 was more often seen in≥2.0 am and solid lesions with stage Ⅱ-Ⅳ.while Type 2 was often seen in part-solid or non-solid lesions with stage Ⅰ.(3)Tumor-PV relationship:type 4 was the most common type(29,53.7%).Type 2(13,24.1%)was more often seen in part-solid or non-solid lesions.(4)Tumor-bronchi relationship and tumor-PA relationship had a positive correlation(r=0.5265,P<0.01).Conclusions MSCT can demonstrate the relations between the peripheral lung cancer and bronchi.PA and PV.It is useful for the differential diagnosis and prognosis evaluation of the lung csncer.

As an important part of the Big Health Industry,in vitro diagnostic(IVD)reagents play a vital role in the prevention,diagnosis and treatment of diseases.In recent years,especially after the novel coronavirus infection,IVD industry has developed rapidly in China,but it still cannot meet the needs of clinical use.By conducting desk research,expert interview,manufacturer survey and hospital survey,this study analyzed the development status of IVD industry in Shanghai,summarized the problems encountered in the high-quality development from the aspects of raw materials,innovation ability,and clinical trials,etc.,and proposed recommendations for promoting the high-quality innovation and development of IVD industry in Shanghai.
