1.Evaluation of pulmonary ventilation/perfusion imaging in monitoring thrombolytic therapy in pulmonary embolism

Objective To investigate the role of pulmonary ventilatioa/perfusion imaging in evaluating thrombolytic therapy in pulmonary embolism (PE).Methods Pulmonary ventilation/perfusion imagng was performed before and one week and three months after thrombolytic therapy in 43 patients with acute PE.Results Among 421 abnormal pulmonary segments in 43 PE cases,199(47.3%) and 231(54.9%) segments were restored to normal 1 week and 3 months later (P<0.05).Of two groups,more abnormal pulmonary segments were restored to normal in those with less than one week's onset (P<0.01).Conclusion As a non-invasive diagnostic method, pulmonary ventilation/perfusion imaging plays an important role in evaluating the therapeutic effectiveness of thrombolytic therapy in patients with PE.
2.Analysis and Evaluation of the Nuclear Medicine Examination Scores

In order to evaluate our teaching results and improve the teaching quality,we designed this study to analyze the scores of nuclear medicine examination for the students of 2001 majoring in clinical medicine.There were 345 students participating in the examination.The results showed that the scores was Gassion distribution,the average score was 82.26,and the difficulty and discrimination of the test paper were appropriate.This analysis method as an objective index can be used to evaluate the response of teaching in nuclear medicine as well as improve the quality of test paper.
3.Efficacy and safety of intravascular intervention therapy in patients with mild stroke and acute large vessel occlusion

Objective To investigate the effectiveness and safety of EVT in mild stroke patients with ALVO.Methods A total of 124 mild stroke patients with ALVO treated in our hospital were enrolled and randomly divided into control group(n=64)and observation group(n=60).The control group was given routine treatment,while the observation group received EVT treat-ment besides routine treatment.NIHSS score,BI score,and mRS score were compared between the two groups to evaluate the postoperative safety of EVT treatment.Results The NIHSS scores on the 7th and 14th days,and at discharge were significantly lower in the observation group and control group than those at admission(P<0.05),and those of the former group were obvi-ously decreased than those of the latter group at the corresponding time points(P<0.01).On the 7th,14th,and discharge days,the BI score of both groups were significantly increased compared to those at admission(P<0.05),with the scores in the observation group higher than those of the control group at above time points(P<0.01).The ratio of the patients having mRS score ≤2 point was larger in the observation group than the control group(96.67%vs 84.38%,P<0.05).One case in the observation group experienced asymptomatic intracranial hemorrhage,and no oth-er adverse events were observed.Conclusion EVT can improve the prognosis of mild stroke pa-tients with ALVO,but does not significantly increases the incidence of adverse events.
4.Association of osteosarcopenia with fall, risk of fracture, malnutrition

Objective:To investigate the association of osteosarcopenia with falls, risk of fracture, malnutrition among middle-aged and elderly adults.Methods:A total of 253 participants dwelling in Guangzhou community aged 40-90 years were included in this cross-sectional study from December 2017 to December 2019.Bone mineral density(BMD)was detected by dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry(DEXA). Body composition was analyzed by a bioelectrical impedance analysis.Handgrip strength and gait speed were examined.The 10-year probability of a major osteoporotic fracture and hip fracture were evaluated by online WHO fracture risk assessment tool( FRAX?). Results:According to diagnostic criteria of AWGS and EWGSOP2, the incidences of osteosarcopenia varied from 5.1% to 7.6%, 5.1% to 11.4% respectively.After the adjustment for age and gender, Logistic regression analysis showed that osteosarcopenia was correlated with falls, risk of fracture and malnutrition.Osteosarcopenia definited by AWGS criteria was strongly correlated with falls( OR=3.27-5.68, P<0.05), osteosarcopenia definited by non-severe sarcopenia criteria was strongly correlated with the risk of hip fracture( OR=1.14-1.15, P<0.05), and fat-free mass index was strongly correlated with osteosarcopenia with different definitions( OR=0.21-0.48, P<0.05). Conclusions:Osteosarcopenia is associated with higher risk of falls, fracture and malnutrition in the Guangzhou community-dwelling middle-aged and elderly adults, and fat-free mass index is an independent risk factor for osteosarcopenia.
