1.Research progress of related molecular mechanism in curcumin induced apoptosis of leukemia cells

Curcumin is a polyphenolic compound extracted from curcuma genus of zingiberaceae,with many pharmacological actions,for example anti-inflammatory,antioxidant,anti-tumor and so on.The antitumor effect of curcumin received attention recently.It can inhibit cell proliferation and metastasis in various tumors.This paper reviewed the recent progress of related molecular mechanism in curcumin induced apoptosis of leukemia cells.
2.Laparoscope microwave ablation therapy for liver cancer

Objective To investigate the clinical effect of laparoscope microwave ablation therapy for liver cancer.Methods Twenty-four special sites (at least 1 lesion close to diaphragmatic muscle,gallbladder,stomach,colon and big lacuna exterior and interior of liver) of primary liver cancer patients (32 nodes) were selected,and the patients were treated with laparoscope microwave ablation therapy.The rate of complete remission after treatment,the level of alpha-fetoprotein (AFP) before and after treatment,postoperative complication and follow-up condition were observed.Results All the patients successfully completed the operation.The rate of complete remission after treatment was 87.50% (28/32).Six patients had fever,8 patients had pain,and 2 patients had pleural effusion,and no patient had serious complication such as postoperative bleeding,biliary fistula or gastrointestinal perforation,etc.Five patients showed recurrence at 2,3,3,7 and 9 months after treatment,1 patient was treated with radio frequency ablation,1 patient was treated with microwave ablation again,2 patients were treated with γ knife,1 patient was treated with conservative method and then died of liver failure.The patients without recurrence were disease-free survival.Conclusions Laparoscope microwave ablation therapy has the advantages of laparoscope and microwave ablation.It is safe and feasible,with few trauma and outstanding curative effect,especially for the liver cancer in special site.
3.Efficacy of dexmedetomidine combined with nicardipine for controlled hypotension in patients undergoing orthopedic surgery

Objective To evaluate the efficacy of dexmedetomidine combined with nicardipine for controlled hypotension in patients undergoing orthopedic surgery.Methods Sixty ASA Ⅰ or Ⅱ patients,aged 32-64 yr,weighing 45-76 kg,scheduled for orthopedic surgery under general anesthesia,were randomly allocated into 2 groups (n =30 each):nicardipine group (group N) and dexmedetomidine + nicardipine group (group DN).A loading dose of dexmedetomidine 1 μg/kg was injected intravenously 10 min before induction of anesthesia,followed by infusion at 0.5.μg ·kg-1 ·h-1 until 30 min before the end of operation in group DN.While the equal volume of normal saline was given in group N.BIS value was maintained at 40-49 during operation.Controlled hypotension was performed with iv infusion of nicardipine at a rate of 2.5 μg· kg-1 · min-1,MAP was reduced to 60-65 mm Hg,then the infusion rate was adjusted to maintain MAP at this level,and nicardipine infusion was stopped while closing the skin.The amount of anesthetics and nicardipine consumed,blood loss,volume of fluid infused,and allogeneic blood transfusion during operation and the operation time,emergence time and extubation time were recorded.Results No patient received allogeneic blood transfusion in both groups.Compared with group N,the amount of anesthetics and nicardipine consumed was significantly decreased,the emergence time and extubation time were significantly shortened (P < 0.05),and no significant change in the volume of fluid infused and blood loss was found in group DN (P > 0.05).Conclusion Dexmedetomidine combined with nicardipine can reduce the requirements for nicardipine and anesthetics during operation,shorten the time for recovery from anesthesia and improve the efficacy of nicardipine for controlled hypotension when used for controlled hypotension in patients undergoing orthopedic surgery.
4.The experimental study on IgY against tumour necrosis factor alpha and interleukin-1beta allergic bronchial asthma of guinea pigs

Objective:To investigate the mechanism of immunoglobulin Y antibodies(IgY) against tumour necrosis factor alpha(TNF-α) and Interleukin-1beta(IL-1β) in treating allergic bronchial asthma through nebulization inhalation.Methods:The allergic bronchial asthma model was established with Hartley guinea pig by ovalbumin nebulizating inhalation.The animals were randomly divided into 4 groups: normal control group(group A),allergic bronchial asthma group(group B),0.1% anti-TNF-α and IL-1β IgY treating group(group C),1.0% anti-TNF-α and IL-1β IgY treating group (group D).The animals were killed after treatment being accomplished for 2 h,4 h,8 h,24 h and the lungs were made pathological,which were then stained by hematoxylin-eosin(H.E.).The bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF) was collected and the deposited cells were stained by Wright's.Results:①The histological appearance of lung: In group B the histological structure of alveolar ducts and alveolar walls was damaged,the alveolar space was full of transudate and lots of alveolar epithelial cells and leucocytes.The pulmonary interstitial edema,inflammatory cells infiltration,distorted or dilated capillaries and reducing capillary numbers of effective blood stream were observed in alveolar walls.In group C and group D the damage degree of alveolar ducts and alveolar wall was slighter than that in group B and there were few inflammatory cells in alveolar space.In bronchial lumen and pulmonary alveoli the sticky mucus plug was obviously less in group C and group D than in group B.Moreover,inflammatory cell infiltration was seldom observed aroud bronchia,and restoration of bronchial tunica mucosa epithelium was obviously observed in group C and group D.②The cytology appearance of BALF: In group C and group D the numbers of eosinophils,neutrophils,lymphocytes were significantly fewer (2 h,4 h,8 h,P<0.05),however,the number of macrophage was significantly more(2 h,4 h,8 h,P<0.05)than in group B.Conclusion:The anti-TNF-α and IL-1β IgY can obviously alleviate pathological extent of inflammatory reaction in allergic bronchial asthma of guinea pigs by nebulization inhalation therapy.The therapeutic effect of anti-TNF-α and IL-1β IgY between 0.1% and 1.0% concentration is not obvious difference for pathology changes.
5.Advances in the research of urethral tissue engineering and scaffold materials

Urethral reconstruction is required in congenital abnormalities such as hypospadia and urethral stricture caused by trauma or infection. The development of tissue engineering has brought new hope to the field of urethral reconstruction. Much progress has been made in the experimental and clinical research of using tissue engineering for urethral reconstruction as well as the research of the scaffold materials. This review focuses on the recent progress in this field.
6.Advancement in the tracing technique of seed cells for tissue engineering

The development of tissue engineering has provided new methods for organ replacement and disease treatment.The research of seed cells includes cell selection,culture,transplantation,tracing and so on.The tracing technique of seed cells involves molecular biology,molecular immunology,molecular imaging and many other subjects,making it difficult to select a label for seed cells.This review summarizes the recent research progress in the tracing technique of seed cells.
7.Comparison of therapeutic effects of different tiotropium bromide regimens in adult patients with asthma

Objective To analyze the clinical effect and the related performance of different tiotropium bromide in the treatment of adult asthma patients.Methods58 patients in the Second hospital of Shandong University from August 2014 to May 2016 admitted to the adult bronchial asthma, were randomly divided into observation group and control group, each of the 29 cases of patients, two patients were taken on the basis of routine treatment of tiotropium bromide in the treatment, the observation group in each given tiotropium 5 g treatment.The control group took a day sooner or later given tiotropium 2.5 g treatment, analysis of clinical effect of two groups were compared and the related performance.ResultsThis group of patients with different delivery methods after treatment, the observation group and the control group of arterial blood gas analysis results have significant difference compared to the clinical effect compared with statistical difference (P<0.05);treatment group the effective rate of treatment group and control the efficiency compared with significant differences (P<0.05);the two groups of patients after treatment, clinical symptoms were observed in groups of patients with asthma remission time were (6.24±1.92) d, while the control group was (8.33±2.47) d, the two groups were compared with statistical difference (P<0.05).ConclusionDifferent tiotropium dosing regimen for adult patients with asthma curative effect has significant clinical effect, compared with 5 per night given tiotropium Gtherapy and its clinical effect is more obvious.

Human neutrophils defensins, e.g., human neutrophils peptides (HNP), had been found in polymorphonuclear neutrophil and shown broad antimicrobial activity, cytotoxicity and chemotaxis as an important family of human innate defence components. The researches on defensins is becoming a worldwide major focus of biological and medical attention nowadays. The researches on molecular characteristics, biological and pathophysiological activities of HNP are reviewed.
9.MORPHOLOGICAL OBSERVATION ON ELASTIC FIBERS IN THE REMODELING MYOCARDIUM OF RATS AFTER INFARCTION

Objective To investigate the changes and role of elastic fibers during the progression of ventricular remodeling after myocardial infarction(MI) in rats. Methods Male Sprague Dawley rats were induced by ligating the anterior descending coronary artery and were divided into the 2nd,4th,8th,12th and 21st week groups.Elastic fibers were evaluated in the infarct region using Masson trichrome staining,Uana orcein staining and image analysis.The expressions of TNF? and IL-1? were also detected by immunohistochemistry. Results Elastic fibers could be found within the infarct region in the 2nd week after MI,increased with time and reached the peak during the 8th to 12th weeks,decreased or were absent in the 21st week.The expressions of TNF-? and IL-1? were also detected in the infarct zone and increased with time.Conclusion Elastic fibers were involved in infarct healing and may play an important role in promoting ventricular remodeling.
10.Hashimoto's thyroiditis accompanying with thyroid cancer:98 cases

Objective To discuss the clinical characteristics of Hashimoto's thyroiditis accompanying with thyroid cancer. Methods Clinical data of 98 cases Hashimoto's thyroiditis accompanying with thyroid cancer were retrospectively reviewed. Results 2 cases underwent lateral thyroid lobectomy and isthmus resection. 58 cases underwent bilateral thyroid lobectomy. 35 cases underwent central lymph node dissection, with 15 cases of lymph node positive. 3 cases underwent modified radical dissection of cervical lymph nodes and all of them were proved to be lymph node positive. Metastasis rate is 25.0% and 52. 2% respectively for tumors whose diameter was less than 1 cm and greater than 1 cm. The difference has no statistic significance. Conclusions Hashimoto's thyroiditis usually accompany with thyroid papillary carcinoma and cervical lymph node metastasis can occur even if it's microcarcinoma. Lymph node metastasis rate increases with increasement of the tumor's diameter. Total thyroidectomy should be performed for Hashimoto's thyroiditis concomitant with thyroid cancer. And if necessary,lymph node dissection should be extended to the central region and lateral neck area.
