Objective To investigate the most important risk factors leading to failure of replantation of severed distal fingers so as to provide theoretic foundation for an improvement of survival rate. Methods Medical records of 65 amputated distal fingers underwent replantation were retrospectively studied to determine the independent risk factor for failure by using univariate and multivariate statistical analyses. Results Of 65 fingers treated with replantation, 8 (12%) failed. Univariate analysis showed that the increase of platelet level was the risk factor leading to failure of replantation (P= 0.041) . Manner of venous drainage (? 2=12.483, P=0.002), injury cause (? 2= 7.992, P= 0.018) , reconstruction of arteries (? 2=4.158, P=0.041) and preservation of the severed finger (? 2=6.240, P=0.044) were significantly correlated with the failure of replantation. However, multivariate logistic regression analyses showed that platelet level (OR=1.020, P=0.046) and manner of venous drainage (OR=0.154, P=0.040) were the significant independent predictors for failure of replantation. Six (38%) out of 16 amputated fingers replantation by means of single venous anastomosis resulted in failure. Of 26 amputated fingers treated with single venous drainage by bloodletting of finger tip, one (4%) failed. However, only one finger (4%) failed when 23 amputated fingers were treated with venous reflux by a combination of these two ways. Conclusions High level of platelet and venous reflux through anastomosis are the independent predictors affecting replantation of the severed fingers. Augmentation of anticoagulation as well as venous drainage determined by concrete lesion condition contribute to a higher clinical survival rate of replantation.

0.05]. CONCLUSIONS: The currents of voltage-gated potassium channel was inhibited by chronic hypoxic. The inhibitory effect of cGMP on currents of voltage-gated potassium channel in PASMCs from both normal and chronic hypoxic rats may be probably through the phosphorylation of voltage-gated potassium channel.

Objective: To explore the cognitive level and the mental status of the patients suffering from perimenopausal syndrome in Shanghai, and to identify the traditional Chinese medicine syndrome distribution feature of perimenopausal syndrome. Methods: The cognitive level of the perimenopausal women was evaluated by using general living problem questionnaire. The mental status of the perimenopausal women was evaluated by using self-rating depressive scale. The traditional Chinese medicine syndrome distribution feature of perimenopausal syndrome was identified by using traditional Chinese medical symptoms questionnaire. Results: A total of 634 perimenopausal women finished the investigation. There were 74.76% (474/634) patients who knew little about the perimenopausal syndrome; 77.29% (490/634) patients had a depressive tendency; 8.36% (53/634) patients had depressive disorder. There were 72.40% (459/634) patients who had the symptoms such as susceptibility to anger and restlessness, restless sleep at night, thirst with dry throat and bitter taste, and all these symptoms could be classified into hyperactivity of heart and liver fire syndrome. Conclusion: Patients suffering from perimenopausal syndrome know little about this disease and mostly have depressive tendency, and the major traditional Chinese medicine syndrome pattern is hyperactivity of heart and liver fire based on the chief clinical manifestations of the patients.

To develop a filtering algorithm which could trace the spectral peaks of the interference and which was used to extract the breath signal with the same band interference in radar non-contact life-detecting system, second filtering algorithm was studied. Through first filtering, the probable interfering spectral peaks (ISP) could be detected by Yule-Walker spectrum estimating and could be located by calculating the coefficients of normalized cross-correlation function according to standard breath signal. Thus the breath signal could be extracted through a second filtering. By using the second filtering algorithm (SFA), the same band interfering spectral peaks with breath signal could be recognized and inhibited. So we conclude that the same band mono-ISP could be inhibited by using SFA and breath signals could be effectively extracted.

AIM:To clone the SPA gene promoter and construct its luciferase report vector of SPA gene and to study its transcriptional targeting activity.METHODS:① The SPA gene sequence was acquired from GenBank,of which the upstream was analyzed according to bioinformatics. The results showed that the upstream region of SPA gene sequence about 163bp has the function of promoter.② The SPA gene promoter fragment was generated by polymerase chain reaction and then subcloned into the multiple clone site(MCS)of luciferase report gene vector pGL3-basic to generate the recombined plasmid pGL3-SPA.This fragment was also subcloned into pGL3-control to generate recombined plasmid pGL3-SPA-enhancer by replacing its primary SV40 promoter.③ pGL3-SPA,pGL3-SPA-enhancer,pGL3-control,pGL3-basic were cotransfected with pRL-TK into A549 cells and H441 cells. The luciferase activities were measured by dual luciferase reportor(DLR)system.RESULTS:Sequencing and restricted digestive results showed that SPA gene promoter was successfully cloned and identified, and also correctly subcloned into plasmid pGL3-basic and pGL3-control to construct its luciferase report plasmid pGL3-SPA and pGL3-SPA-enhancer,respectively.The transcriptional activity was high in H441 cells.CONCLUSION:The luciferase report system of SPA gene promoter is successfully constructed with high transcriptional activity.

Objective To analyze the MSCT features of subepithelial lesions of the urinary bladder. Methods Thirty-one patients with subepithelial lesions of the urinary bladder proved by pathology were enrolled in this study. The MSCT findings were analyzed. Results Among the 3 1 cases with subpeithelial lesions of the urinary bladder,7 cases were non-epithelial tumors (including 3 cases of leiomyomas,2 cases of paragangliomas,1 case of hemangioma and 1 case of granulocytic sarcoma),and other 24 cases were inflammatory/reactive lesions, all as cystitis glandularis.MSCT findings were as follows:paragangliomas were solitary masses with homogeneous density, smooth border and wide base, with rapid wash-in and wash-out enhancement pattern and peak enhancement in the arterial phase.Hemangiomas and leiomyomas both presented as single round mass with slight enhancement.Granulocytic sarcoma appeared as diffuse bladder wall thickening with pebble-like projections, and slight enhancement.Cystitis glandularis was characterized by local thickening of the bladder wall with nodular or aquatics-like uplift, and was also characterized by diffuse thickening, with slight and progressive enhancement in 22 cases, and significant enhancement in venous phase in 2 cases. Conclusion The subepithelial lesions of urinary bladder may present with tumor-like appearance. The key characteristic feature for cystitis glandularis is local thickening of the bladder wall with nodular or aquatics-like uplift.Rapid wash-in and wash-out enhancement pattern is considered to be diagnostically significant for paragangliomas. However, the rest of the lesions overlap in the imaging appearances, and the diagnosis should be combined with clinical manifestations to improve the accuracy of preoperative diagnosis.
