Neurodegenerative diseases are chronic lesions caused by neuronal degeneration and secondary demyelination.Recent studies have shown that a DNA/RNA binding protein named fused in sarcoma/translocated in liposarcoma protein (FUS/TLS) is associated with neurodegenerative diseases,such as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS),frontotemporal dementia (FTD) and polyglutamine diseases.Mutations or dysfunction in FUS/TLS are responsible for the abnormal processes in the related gene transcription,RNA processing,transportation and translation and are highly correlated with the development of neurodegenerative disease.Discovery and the research of FUS/TLS not only contribute to the understanding of neurodegenerative disease at RNA level,but also provide a new way for the prevention and treatment of neurodegenerative diseases.

[Objective] To observe the effect of serum containing Bushen prescription (BP) on inhibition of chondrocyte proliferation and nitric oxide (NO) production in chondrocyte induced by interleukin-1 (IL-1). [Methods] Four New Zealand rabbits were administered BP 2.5mL (1.15kg/L) for 3 days for the preparation of BP-containing serum. Rabbit chondrocytes were cultured in-vitro and were added with DMEM culture containing IL-1 1, 10 and 20 ?g/L to examined the inhibition concentration of IL-1 for chondrocyte proliferation. After then, BP group was added with 20 ?g/L IL-1 and various concentrations of BP-containing serum and the model group with 20 ?g/L IL-1 and various concentrations of blank serum. Alter 3-day culture, chondrocyte proliferation were dectected by thiazolyl blue colorimetry (MTT) and NO content by Griess method. [Results] The inhibition concentration of IL-1 for chondrocyte proliferation was 20 ?g/L; various concentrations of BP-containing serum could counteract chondrocyte proliferation and inhibit NO pnxluction in chondrocyte induced by IL-1. [Conclusion] BP can counteract chondrocyte proliferation directly or indirectly by the mediation of NO, which may be one of its therapeutic mechanisms in treating osteoarthritis.

Objective This study was designed to investigate the infection sources and transmission range of the first brucellosis outbreak in human in Bijie City in order to take specific control measures.Methods Fangzhu Town of Qixingguan District was selected as the investigation site where the first medical case was reported.① Basic conditions investigation:the population and the livestock conditions were investigated;②Specific investigation:remote specific investigation of the first case was made through telephone by using unified specific investigation form;③Epidemic situation in human:based on the rule of informed consent,serum samples of all sheep raising people were collected for examination;④Epidemic situation in livestock:sheep's serum samples were collected by agricultural sector.Rose-bengal plate agglutination test (RBPT) and standard agglutination test (SAT) were used to test the serum samples.Results There were 6 338 households with 28 682 residents in Fangzhu County totally,including 70 households feeding 2 184 herds of sheep.The fast case had attacked on May 10th,2014,who was transferred to the first people's hospital of Yuanan Province on July 17th,2014,and was diagnosed as brucellosis on July 25th,2014.There were 85 serum specimens from livestock feeders tested totally,17 specimens showed SAT positive,10 cases were confirmed,recessive infection were 7 cases,the infection rate was 20.00％ (17/85),the detection rate was 11.76％ (10/85),and the recessive infection rate was 8.24％ (7/85).A total of 339 sheep serum samples were tested,133 specimens showed RBPT positive.The positive rate was 39.23％ (133/ 339).Conclusion Brucellosis epidemic was exisited in Bijie City among human and animals,and the situations of infection is serious.The prevention and control of brucellosis should be publicity and education on the sheep flocks.

Objective To explore the expression and significance of matrix metalloproteinase-2 (MMP-2) and basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF) in human glioma.Methods The expression levels of bFGF and MMP-2 in 56 cases of human glioma and 9 cases of normal brain tissue specimen were detected by immunohistochemistry technique.Furthermore,the correlation between the expression of the bFGF and MMP-2 was compared.Results In normal brain tissue,grade Ⅰ,Ⅱ and grade Ⅲ,Ⅳ,the positive expression of bFGF were (9.51 + 2.69)％,(24.78 ±- 7.57 )％,(41.23 ± 12.35 )％,respectively,and MMP-2were (7.18 ± 2.12)％,(21.56 ± 3.85 )％,(54.32 + 7.32)％,respectively.The differences were significant among them (P ＜0.05).bFGF and MMP-2 were positive correlated (r ＝0.71,P ＜0.01).Conclusions There is an intrinsic correlation between the expression of the bFGF and MMP-2 and histological grade of human gliomas.These findings suggest that the synergistic interaction of bFGF and MMP-2 play an important role during the tumor invasion.

Ultrastructural changes of the inner cell mass (ICM) in rabbit blastocysts from 4 to 7 days post coitum (p.c.) were observed with transmission electron microscope. It revealed that ICM of blastocyst on day 5 p.c. began to differentiate after they were arranged into a single layer, and under which the primitive endoderm appeared. It is suggested that the primitive endodermal cells in rabbit blastocysts are derived from the scattered ICM-like cells at the inner surface of the mural trophoblast rather than delaminated from ICM proper. In this paper, disruption and disappearance of polar trophoblast are described and discussed.

Objective:To develop the Chinese version of the 22-item Impact of Event Scale-Revised (IES-R-C) and examine its reliability and validity. Methods:A sample of 439 female offenders experiencing at least one traumatic life event was tested. The authors examined the IES-R-C's retest reliability, internal consistency, discriminative validity and predictive value of the cut-off. Results:The test-retest reliability coefficient was 0.86;The Cronbach's coefficient of the IES-R-C was 0.96;The mean inter-item correlation coefficients ranged from0.42 to 0.60;The correlation coefficient of the three factors with the total scale scores ranged from0.84 to 0.91; The correlation coefficient among the three factors ranged from 0.75 to 0.89; Posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and partial PTSD cases indicated significantly higher scores than non-PTSD cases. 34/35 in the IES-R-C total score seemed an appropriate cutoff indicative of high levels of sensitivity (0.86), specificity (0.86), and efficiency (0.86) in the broadly defined PTSD-positive groups (PTSD + partial PTSD). Conclusion: the of IES-R-C is a reliable and valid measure for assessing the posttraumatic stress symptoms in Chinese-speaking sample. The IES-R-C may be a useful self-rating diagnostic instrument particularly for survivors with PTSD symptoms as a clinical concern (PTSD + partial PTSD) by using a 34/35 cutoff in total score.

OBJECTIVE:To study the pharmacokinetics of two kinds of famotidine capsule from different factories in healthy volunteers and to evaluate the bioavailability of them METHODS:A single oral 40 mg dose of famotidine capsule of reference or test preparation was given to healthy male volunteers according to an open randomized crossover study The plasma concentrations of famotidine were determined by a RP-HPLC method The pharmacokinetic parameters and bioavailability of test preparation were compared with reference preparation RESULTS:The main pharmacokinetic parameters of the reference preparation and the test preparation were as follows:Cmax were(189 9?72 1)?g/L and(170 1?59 6)?g/L;Tmax were(2 5?0 8)h and (2 1?0 8)h;T1/2 were(4 1?0 9)h and(3 8?0 8)h;AUC0～t were (1 031 7?316 7)?g/(L?h)and(1 019 4?290 5)?g/(L?h);AUC0→∞ were(1 123 9?346 0)?g/(L?h)and(1 103 4?312 0)?g/(L?h);The relative bioavailability of reference to test preparation was(101 6?22 6)% CONCLUSION:The results showed that the reference preparation and the test preparation were bioequivalent

Objective To explore a venipuncture method that can reduce the pain, improve the suc-cess rate of puncture as well as reduce vascular injury. Methods Self-controlled method was applied in 200 patients, needle tips with 20～25°,31～40°,41～50°, 51～60°, > 60° angles on the top of the blood ves-sels,the inclined plane of the needle parallel to the longitudinal axis of the blood vessel (that was,the in-clined plane to the left or right) or traditional method with upward of needle tips were adopted, the observa-tion group and the control group were divided according to different methods, pain and success rate of puncture were compared. Results There were differences between the two groups,results of the observa-tion group were better than those of the control group (except when > 60°, success rate showed no differ-ence). Conclusions Venipuncture with needle tip parallel to the longitudinal axis of the blood vessels can significantly reduce pain in patients, improve the success rate of puncture and reduce the vascular in-jury, which were superior to the traditional venipuncture method. Whatever method is chosen, 51～60° is the best angie into the vessel.

Objective: To improve the ultrasonic diagnosis criteria for blood flow in the breast neoplasms. Methods: The features of Doppler imaging in 240 cases of breast neoplasms were analyzed. Results and conclusion: The blood distribution of benign tumor is mainly at 0 Ⅱ level and that of malignant tumor mainly at Ⅲ Ⅳ level. Peak velocity(Vp), mean velocity(Vm), pulsatile index(PI) and resistance index(RI) of malignant tumor are higher than those of benign tumor.

Objective To analysis the victim's help-seeking behavior of domestic violence. Methods Using a multi-stage sampling strategy,306 victims of domestic violence were randomly selected and face-to-face interviewed. A self-designed help-seeking questionnaire of domestic violence was administered. Results 33.7%victims felt nowhere to seek help. The three leading helpers they seek were the other family member (34.6%),neighbor and friend( 17.0% ) and community office ( 12.5% ) ,and the community office had highest prevalence of effect (71. 1% ). The prevalence of seeking help from other family member and Women's Federation were highest in urban victims (P＜0.01) ,and seeking help from community office was highest in rural victims (P＜0.01). The three leading helpers were other family member (27.3%) ,community office ( 15.8% ) and neighbor and friend ( 10.9% ) by male victims, and other family member ( 38.0% ), neighbor and friend ( 20.0% ) and community office ( 10.8% ) by female victims. The prevalence of seeking help from neighbor and friend was higher in female than in male ( 20.0% vs 10.9%, x2 = 3. 980, P＜ 0.05 ). Adult victims seek help from other family member were less than children and the elderly (31.6% vs 42.0% and 46.9%, x2 =5.993, P＜0.05),and the elderly seek help from community office were more than adults and children (28.1% vs 12. 1% and 4.0%, x2 =9.930, P＜0.01 ). The victims with higher level of education were with higher prevalence of feeling nowhere to seek help (47.8%). Seeking help from other family member and community office were most in victims with lower level of education( 38.5% and 24.0% ,respectively) and were least in victims with higher level of education ( 17.4% and 0,respectively, P ＜ 0.05, P ＜ 0. 01 ). Conclusion Help-seeking behaviors of victims of domestic violence are varied by geographic settings,age,gender and education levels.
