Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2008;12(23):4597-4600
BACKGROUND: Previous research reveals that, the morphous, structure, physicochemical property and mechanical characteristics of matrix in buffalo cornu all contribute to the biomaterials in the field of orthopaedics.OBJECTIVE: To investigate the correlation between the duration of matrix in buffalo cornu soaked in 30% hydrogen peroxide and the antigenicity, the biomechanical intensity of matrix in buffalo cornu treated by deproteinization.DESIGN, TIME AND SETTING: Measurement experiments were performed in the Mechanics Laboratory, Kunming University of Science and Technology (Kunming, Yunnan, China) from February to March in 2000.MATERIALS: Buffalo was provided by Luxi Abattoir of Yunnan Province (China), and then processed into test pieces at a nominal thickness.METHODS: The metric test pieces were rinsed with distilled water and soaked by chloroform-methyl alcohol at a ratio of 1:1 for 48 hours, then in 30% hydrogen peroxide for 24 and 48 hours, which served as the experimental group. While those remaining untreated were taken as controls.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: The modulus of elasticity and compressive strength were measured by electric measurement method and direct pressurization method, respectively.RESULTS: The modulus of elasticity between the experimental group and the control group had no significant difference (P>0.05). The compressive strength in the control group was significantly higher than that in the experimental group (P<0.01), and there were no significant differences between the experimental group treated for 24 hours and the experimental group treated for 48 hours (P>0.05).CONCLUSION: Subsequent to soaking in 30% hydrogen peroxide for 48 hours, the matrix in buffalo cornu maintains better biomechanicai intensity.

4.Reform of the HIS system against the total prepaid and separation of medicine and pharmacy
Chinese Journal of Hospital Administration 2014;30(3):207-210
Covered in the paper are reform efforts made by the hospital on the HIS system amid the pilot programs total prepaid and mcdicine-drug separation trials in Beijing.Findings of the programs revealed defects of the HIS system, for example measures for refusal of payment of non-compliance items, and real-time reimbursement for patients. In view of these setbacks, the hospital made further attempts to the system in such aspects of the fundamental maintenance, rational drug usage and new problems, for the purpose of successful completion of the pilot programs at the hospital.Discussions were also made as to how to adapt the HIS system to total prepaid and the separation reforms, aiming at helping those not yet initiated with the reforms, and the information sharing of patient diagnosis/treatment records and social insurance payment at all hospitals in Beijing.
5.Assessment of relationship among color Doppler flow pattern, vascular distribution and lymph nodes metastasis in breast carcinomas
Chinese Journal of Postgraduates of Medicine 2011;34(14):7-9
Objective To study the association among the color Doppler flow pattern, vascular distribution and the lymph nodes metastasis in breast carcinomas. Methods Sixty-eight patients with infiltrating mammary gland duct carcinoma were divided into the no-lymph-nodes-metastasis group (group I , 37 cases) and the lymph-nodes-metastasis group (group Ⅱ , 31 cases), group Ⅱ were subdivided into group Ⅱa (19 cases): lateral lymph nodes positive of pectoralis minor and group Ⅱ b (12 cases): rear of pectoralis minor and subclavian lymph node positive. Blood flow parameters [peak systoltc velocity (PSV),resistent index ( RI)] and vascular Alder grades were observed and measured with color Doppler ultrasound. The results were compared with the incidence of lymph node metastasis. Results PSV and RI were not significantly different between group Ⅰ and group Ⅱ (t = -0.19,-0.63,P> 0.05),and also between group Ⅱ a and group Ⅱ b (t =-1.12,-013,P >0.05). By using vascular Alder grades, there were no significant differences between group Ⅰ and group Ⅱ (x2= 0.46, P> 0.05 ), but the significant differences were observed between group Ⅱ a [10.5%(2/19) ,63.2%( 12/19) ,26.3%(5/19) in Alder Ⅰ , Ⅱ , Ⅲ grade] and group Ⅱ b [8.3%( 1/12), 16.7%(2/12),75.0%(9/12)in Alder Ⅰ , Ⅱ ,Ⅲ grade](x2 = 7.41,P<0.05). Conclusion The pattern of blood flow has no correlation with lymph nodes metastasis, vascular Alder grades of carcinoma shows some relevance with the lymph nodes metastasis in the patients with infiltrating mammary gland duct carcinoma.
6.Selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors for the treatment of ischemic stroke
International Journal of Cerebrovascular Diseases 2014;22(8):625-628
Selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs),a new generation of anti-depressant agent, are mainly used to treat emotional disorders in clinical practice now.Recent studies have found that SSRIs can increase neurogenesis after cerebral ischemia, promote neurovascular reconstruction, and are conducive to the recovery of neurological function.Furthermore,SSRIs can improve the tolerance of ischemic tissue, exert anti-inflammation and anti-oxidation properties, reduce the blood-brain-barrier injury, and inhibit excitatory amino acid toxicity in order to exert neuroprotective effect. This article reviews the related research progress in SSRIs and ischemic stroke.
7.MRI Diagnosis of the Pyogenic Infection in Gluteus Muscles
Journal of Practical Radiology 2000;0(12):-
Objective To explore the applied value of MRI in diagnosing pyogenic of infection of gluteus muscles. Methods MRI data in 9 cases with pyogenic infection of gluteus muscles proved by operation or biopsy were retrospectively analysed by comparison with the pathological diagnosis. Results The pyogenic infections localized at unilateral gluteus muscles involving single, two or three gluteus muscles in all cases. On MRI,the infective gluteus muscles were swelling diffusely and the infections developed along the long axis of the muscles and most or all gluteus muscles were involved.4 cases appeared as suppurative myositis and 5 cases developed typical abscess.4 cases were accompanied with subcutaneous edema and the abscess broken into skin in one case. Conclusion The pathological characteristics of the stage and extent of the pyogenic infection in gluteus muscles can be displayed by MR imaging.
8.Determination of ?~9-tetrahydrocannabinol Content in Hemp by GC-MS
China Pharmacy 1991;0(03):-
OBJECTIVE:To determine the content of ?9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) in hemp by GC-MS. METHODS: HP-5 quartz capillary column was used. The temperature programming was as follows: the initial temperature was kept at 200 ℃ for 1 min, then raised to 270 ℃ at the rate of 3 ℃?min-1 and kept for 10 min; the injector temperature was 280 ℃and the detector temperature was 290 ℃. RESULTS: The good linearity between peak area and concentration was obtained over the range of 5.0 ~45.0 ?g?mL-1 (r=0.998 7). The lowest detectable limit was 1.0 ?g?mL-1(S/N=5).The average recovery rate was 81.1% (RSD=3.8%,n=9). CONCLUSION: The procedure is simple, accurate and reproducible, and suitable for the quality control of hemp preparation.
