Acta Anatomica Sinica 1957;0(04):-
Objective To investigate cell type and size of fetus atrioventricular node. Methods Using the technique of paraffin section, H-E staining, the cellular morphology and size of atrioventricular node in fetus hearts were observed under microscope, and quantitied by HIPAS-1000 computerized image analytical instrument. Results The cell types of atrioventricular node in fetue hearts were composed of light, dark and transitional cells. The morphology of light and dark cells were spindle-shaped or ellipsoid, but a few cells were polygonal. The shape of transitional cells was short column. The nuclei of light cells and transitional cell were larger than that of dark cells. Conclusion Pacemaker cell of atrioventricular node in fetus heart includes light and dark cells which could present different function types of pacemaker cell. Microbiology 1992;0(04):-
A research combined trickling filter system and active sludge aeration system was applied in the treatment of industrial wastewater from gas-generating with heavy oil. The wastewater contained both high contents of NH+4-N and mixed hydrocarbons including various PAHs. Its BOD5/COD ratio was less than 0.3 and belongs to recalcitrant, toxic wastewater. The results showed a touch-growth biofilms system was formed on the porous packing material and it played a key role in the decrease of toxicity of the influent. It could also improve the biodegradability of the wastewater.

Advance on chemical constituents and pharmacological activities of Stellera plants have been conducted. The chemical constituents include terpenes, coumarins, flavonoids, lignans, volatile oils, and other compounds. Pharmacological studies showed that diterpenoids and biflavones showed strong activities, such as antitumor, anti-HIV, and immune regulations. This review hopes to provide a scientific basis for further research and explorations of the medicinal values of the genus.

China Journal of Chinese Materia Medica 2015;40(10):2050-2053
To learn about the economic studies on traditional Chinese medicines in domestic literatures, in order to analyze the current economic assessment of traditional Chinese medicines and explore the existing problems. Efforts were made to search CNKI, VIP, Wanfang database and CBM by computer and include all literatures about economic assessment of traditional Chinese medicines published on professional domestic journals in the systematic assessment and quality evaluation. Finally, 50 articles were included in the study, and the systematic assessment and quality evaluation were made for them in terms of titles, year, authors' identity, expense source, disease type, study perspective, study design type, study target, study target source, time limit, cost calculation, effect indicator, analytical technique and sensitivity analysis. The finally quality score was 0.74, which is very low. The results of the study showed insufficient studies on economics of traditional Chinese medicines, short study duration and simple evaluation methods, which will be solved through unremitting efforts in the future.

Objective To observe the outcomes of intranasal endoscopic holmium laser-assisted dacryocystorhinostomy in the treatment of chronic dacryocystitis. Methods Forty-seven patients(47 eyes) with chronic dacryocystitis underwent intranasal endoscopic holmium laser-assisted dacryocystorhinostomy. The postoperative follow-up included lacrimal irrigation and intranasal endoscopic examination. Results The patients were followed up for 3 to 6 months. The cure rate was 87.2%,the improvement rate was 6.4%,and the total effective rate(cure rate+improvement rate) was 93.6%.Conclusion Intranasal endoscopic holmium laser-assisted dacryocystorhinostomy causes no scar in the face, less nasal tissue damage, shorter operation time and less hemorrhage, and does not affect the lacrimal irrigation system, which allows correction of intranasal causes of failure in traditional dacryocystorhinostomy.

OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the biological compatibility and clinical therapeutic effect of the medical sterilized bone wax.METHODS:Embedding test and pathological test as well as hemolytic test were performed by using rabbits as test animal.12531case-times were investigated in respect to the therapeutic effect, prognosis and satisfactory rate.RESULTS:The embedded bone wax was coated by connective tissue and has not been absorbed without surrounding inflammation, edema or necrosis. The bone wax could not be absorbed after stanching bleeding of the bone broken surface. No hemolytic phenomena were observed. The wound healing obtained a satisfactory rate of99.1%.CONCLUSION:The sterilized medical bone wax has good biological compatibility and is safe and effective to stanch bleeding. It is convenient to use due to its singer dose sterilized packaging.

Objective To approach the correlation of the left ventricular function in elderly patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI) at low-risk factor. Methods Forty-five elderly patients hospitalized for AMI were registered, including 20 patients who were underwent emergency percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) after the onset of AMI and 25 patients who received conservative non-invasive therapies. These 45 cases all received echocardiography(ECHO) examination in the 4th and 24th week after acute myocardial infarction. Results In the PCI group, end-diastolic volume index (EDVI) and end-systolic volume index (ESVI) had significant difference (P0.05) after therapy; WMSI was higher than PCI group (P
