ObjectiveTo investigate the feasibility and influence factors of a new silver salt method for determination of arsenic in drinking water. Methods Arsenic was determined at different reaction temperature, acidity, specification and addition of zinc granular, fill weight of lead acetate cotton, and the effect of these factors on assay results was observed. Arsenic in drinking water was determined in accordance with standard test methods (GB/T 5750.6) of the new silver method. Results The recoveries of the arsenic were 75.3% - 93.6%(F =9.21,P < 0.01 ) with reaction temperature at 10 - 30 ℃, and the best reaction temperature was 25 ℃. The recoveries of the arsenic ranged from 80.3% - 91.6%(F =4.67, P< 0.05) when sulfuric acid was 3.0 - 6.0 ml and the best value was 5.0 ml. The recoveries of the honeycomb structural zinc granular(diameter 0.2 - 0.3, 0.3 - 0.4 mm) and button zinc granular were 87.2%, 90.7% and 83.0%, respectively; the best specification was 0.3 - 0.4 mm. The recoveries of zinc granular weight(3 - 5 g ) were 74.6% - 91.7%, respectively; the best was 5 g. The recoveries ranged from 79.6% - 91.3% with fill weight of lead acetate cotton at 25 - 100 mg, the best fill weight was 50 mg.The recoveries of the arsenic were 90.7%, 92.5%, 81.5% and 74.2% with lead acetate cotton length at 0.5 - 2.0 cm,and the best loose-tight degree was 1.0 cm. The stability time of arsine solution was 5.0, 4.0, 2.5 h with corresponding temperature at 20, 25, 30 ℃, respectively. ConclusionsIn order to ensure precision and accuracy of the measurement, it is necessary to control reaction temperature, acidity, specification and addition of zinc granular free from arsenic, fill weight of lead acetate cotton and loose-tight degree in the reaction system.

Chinese Journal of Digestive Endoscopy 2014;31(4):210-212
Objective To study the therapeutic value of a second ERCP for the patients with failure of pre-cut ERCP.Methods A total of 167 cases of pre-cut ERCP failure were recruited to the study, among which 109 cases were diagnosed as common bile duct stones and/or benign papillary stenosis, and 58 cases as biliopancreatic lesion.ERCP failed with standard intubation for more than 20 minutes, even with pre-cut or fenestration.A second ERCP was preformed after rest of 3-5 days. The position sequence of intubation for most patients was horizontal, the front and rear. Results The success rate was 79.6% (133 cases) for the patients with a second ERCP,85 patients received the procedures via the horizontal intubation,36 via anterior, and 12 via posterior intubation. The treatments were performed after successful completion of the endoscopic cannulation. One patient had retroperitoneal infection with duodenal perforation, another patient had severe pancreatitis, who were cured by the intervention methods. Conclusion The success rate of a second ERCP is high with proficient intubation skills.

Objective: To discover and determine the content of kaempferol in Sedum aizoon L.for the first time. Methods: Waters HPLC-MS/MS,XTerra-MS C18 (5?m,2.1?150mm) and the mobile phase consisted of acetonitrile-water-formic(40∶60∶1) were applied to find kaempferol in Sedum aizoon L.;Daojin HPLC and the SHIM-PACK VP C18(250nm?4.6nm,10?m) column were used. The mobile phase consisted of methanol-0.4% phosphoric acid solutions(59:41) with the flow rate at 1.0ml/min and the UV detector wave-length were set at 370nm.Results: Compared with standard sample, the thing that kaempferol exists in Sedum aizoon L.was confirmed. The calibration curve was in good linearity over the range of 2.0-8.0?g,and regression equation was Y=40343X-11107(r=0.9998).The average recovery rate was 102.53%,with RSD =0.92%(n=6).Conclusion: The method is simple, accurate and reproducible so it can be used to determine and analyze the content of kaempferol in Sedum aizoon L.

Objective:To investigate the mechanism of Salvia Miltiorrhizae(SM) on protecting the renal injury of rats with obstructive jaundice. Methods:The 36 rats were randomly divided into control group, obstructive jaundice group and SM treated group. The renal injury of rats model with obstructive jaundice was established by ligating common bile duct.In the SM treated group,SM (2.0g/ d) was given through abdominal cavity.Animals were killed at the 7th,14th,21st and 28th day after operation respectively. The malondialdehyde (MDA) and superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity content of serum and renal tissue were determined, and the changes of renal function and histopathology were observed. Results:Comparing with non treated group, the serum and renal tissue SOD activity were markedly increased, and the MDA were obviously decreased(P

Objective To evaluate the morphological and signal intensity changes after anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction , and to analyze the correlations between MRI evaluation and clinical examination .Methods Totally 34 patients who underwent anterior cruciate liga-ment reconstruction in our hospital from July 2013 to June 2015 were given MRI examination .The morphology ,orientation and signal intensity of the anterior cruciate ligament grafts were evaluated on axial ,sagittal and coronal images .The grafts were assessed with Rak method ,and the clinical assessment was adopted with physical assessment method ,including drawer test ,axial shift test and Lachman test .The correlations be-tween MRI evaluation and clinical examination results were further analyzed by SPSS 16.0.Results After anterior cruciate ligament recon-struction,79%of the graft were visualized as a smoothly continuous low signal (well-defined type),15%of the graft showed increased signal intensity with only a small part of low signal bands ( intermediate type ) ,and 6% of the grafts showed remarkably increased signal intensity (indiscernible type).A statistically significant correlation was identified in MRI evaluation and clinical examination results (P<0.05). Spearman’ s correlation coefficient was 0.747 2 which indicating significantly positive correlation .Conclusion Magnetic resonance imaging is a noninvasive high-resolution imaging technology and it is an effective tool for evaluating anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction .

Objective To evaluate the efficacy and safety of linezolid in the treatment of gram-positive coccus in-fection in the elderly. Methods Clinical data of patients (>60 years old)infected with gram-positive coccus and treated with linezolid for 10 days between January 2013 and December 2014 were collected, the therapeutic efficacy of linezolid were analyzed, laboratory indexes before and 14 days after linezolid treatment were compared, possible adverse effects were analyzed. Results A total of 70 old patients were enrolled, the majority of patients were infec-ted in lower respiratory tract (62.86%)and were infected with Staphylococcus aureus (42.86%,of which 19 were MRSA),more than 80% of the patients were >70 years old,had length of stay > 30 days, and admitted in ICU, more than 70% of the patients were with deep venous catheterization and indwelling urinary catheterization.Platelet count (PLT)after 14 days of linezolid treatment was significantly lower than before treatment([132.00±45.00]× 109/L vs [156.00±78.00]×109/L,P =0.009);the total therapeutic efficacy of linezolid was 81 .43%(57/70), while the rate of adverse effects was 17.14% (12/70).Conclusion Linezolid is effective for treatment of gram-posi-tive coccus infection in the elderly, and may be a good choice of empirical treatment.PLT should be intensively mo-nitored during the process of linezolid therapy.
