Two new sesquiterpenoids, named as tyromols A and B (1 and 2), were isolated from cultures of basidiomycete Tyromyces chioneus, along with two previously reported 15-hydroxy-6 α, 12-epoxy-7β, 10αH, 11βH-spiroax-4-ene (3) and agripilol C (4). Compounds 1-4 were separated and purified by silica gel, RP-18, Sephadex LH-20 column chromatography. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of extensive spectroscopic analysis including IR, MS, 1D and 2D NMR experiments.

Objective To investigate the effect of lobaplatin combined with irradiation on human nasopharyngeal cancer cell line CNE2,and to illuminate its mechanism of radiosensitization.Methods MTT assay was used to detect the outcome of lobaplatin and irradiation on CNE2 cell proliferation.Clonogenic assay was applied to testify the radiosensitization effect of lobaplatin on the cells.Flow cytometry was used to check the cell cycle distribution and cell apoptosis.Western was used to detect the expression of Bcl-2,Bax and cleaved Caspase-3.Results The proliferation of CNE2 cells was reduced by lobaplatin in a dose-dependent manner.50IC of lobaplatin on CNE2 cells and lobaplatin combined with 4 Gy irradiation was 1.610 μmol/L and 0.077 μmol/L,respectively.The radiosensitization ratio of the combination group was over 3.Within 24 h of drug treatment,the percent of cells in G2/M phase increased with the concentration of lobaplatin.When the concentration of lobaplatin increased to 6 μmol/L,the cells of combination group were arrested at S phase.The apoptosis rate of lobaplatin (5 μmol/L) group,radiotherapy(4 Gy)group and combination group was 15.6％,11.3％ and 61.8％,respectively.Western blot showed that the expressions of Bax and cleaved Caspase-3 increased but Bcl-2 decreased in the combination group.Conclusion Lobaplatin could increase radiosensitization of human nasopharyngeal cancer cell line CNE2,probably by depressing Bcl-2 but enhancing Bax expression and hence activating Bcl-2/Bax-Caspase signaling pathway.

Objective To observe the tolerance of contemporaneous multiplane operations in obstructive sleep apnea-hypopnea syndrome(OSAHS). Methods Twenty-three patients were enrolled. According to the different obstructive level, the different operations were chosen to complete upper airway reconstruction in contemporaneous operation group (group A, 13 patients). In the simple palatopharynx level obstructive group (group B, 10 patients), bilateral tonsillectomy and H-UPPP was chosen. Results The operation time in group A was significantly longer than that in group B:(121.0 ± 35.4) min vs.(80.7 ± 25.3) min, P<0.01. The hospital days and adverse events in two groups had no significantly difference (P>0.05). Conclusions Individual therapeutic schedule for OSAHS patients should be formulated. Operating the different obstructive levels simutaneously, which would solve upper airway occlusion and complete the upper airway reconstruction at the same time. No more adverse events happen, compared with the simple palatopharynx level obstructive group, though the operation time may be longer.

Objective To investigate the organophosphorus pesticides residues in vegetables in Ji'nan,China.Methods From 2005 to 2007,the residues of ten kinds of organaphosphorous pesticides,including methamidophos,parathion-ethyl, parathionm-ethyl,dichlorvos,phorate,monocrotophos,omethoate,dimethoate,chlorpyrifos,malathion were determined in 8 kinds of vegetables by capillary gas chromatography.Results In the 597 vegetables samples,the total detection rate of organaphosphorous pesticides was 32.66%,in 25.63% of the samples,the contents of organaphosphorous pesticides residues exceeded the national standard limits.In leek,the detection rate was 65.56% and the exceeded limit rate was 52.22%.In addition, more than one kind of pesticide could be detected in one kind of vegetable.The concentration of methamidophos,the most serious pollutant,could reach 114.013 mg/kg.Omethoate could also be detected at 11.807 mg/kg.In this investigation,a downtrend was seen in the rate of exceeding standard limits and the difference in seasons in the detection rate of pesticides residues was also seen. Conclusion The detection rate of high toxic organaphosphorous pesticides in vegetables sampled in this study is higher,it indicates that the situation of pesticides abuse is serious in this area.

Objective To evaluate the relationship of diurnal variation of antidiuretic hormone (ADH) with urinary output,serum osmolality and blood pressure in spinal cord injury (SCI) patients. MethodsThe study was prospective,random and contrastive. Twenty complete SCI patients (two females and 18 males,Complete SCI group) and ten healthy controls (two females and eight males,control group) were studied. Urinary output and osmolality in the day time (8:00-20:00) and at night (20:00-8:00) were recorded. Blood samples for the measurement of serum osmolality and ADH were drawn at 14:00 and 2:00. Results There was very significant difference in regard of urinary output between day time and night time in complete SCI Group and control Group ( P 0.05). Objective To study the feasibility and safety of coronary sinus (CS) ventricular pacing comparing with traditional right ventricular (RV) pacing in ordinary pacing treatment.Methods Sixty-one patients with an indication of pacemaker implantation were randomized into traditional RV pacing group and CS ventricular pacing group.The success rate,complications,preoperative and postoperative QRS wave duration and pacemaker parameters were compared between the two groups.Results (1) The instant success rate in traditional RV pacing and the CS pacing groups were 100％ and 68.97％ (P＜0.01);the surgical success rate was significantly higher by using left ventricular electrode than the ventricle tined electrode in CS pacing group (85.71％ and 25％,P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of complications between the two groups (P＞0.05);(2) The increase of QRS complex width at postoperative 1 month in CS pacing group is significantly less than the RV pacing group (P＜0.05);(3) Although the pacing threshold and electrode impedance during operation,postoperative 1 month and 3 months in CS pacing group were higher than RV pacing group (P＜0.05),the CS pacing was effective.Conclusion The CS ventricular pacing is as safe and effective as traditional RV pacing,and is more consistent with physiological ventricular activation sequence.Using left ventricular electrode can significantly improve the success rate of CS ventricular pacing.

Objective The role of long non-coding RNA Linc00467 in human lung adenocarcinoma is not yet clear.This study was to investigate the expression of long non-coding RNA Linc00467 in human lung adenocarcinoma, its clinical significance, and the effects of Linc00467 on the functions of the tumor and endothelial cells in vitro.Methods Lung adenocarcinoma tissue and normal tissue surrounding the malignance were obtained from 60 patients with pathologically proved stage I-Ⅲa lung adenocarcinoma.Human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs) were transfected with the over-expressed plasmid pccl-Linc00467 (HUVEC experimental group) or the empty vector pccl (HUVEC control group), A549 cells with Linc00467-siRNA (A549 experimental group) or negative siRNA (A549 control group), and H1299 cells, too, with Linc00467-siRNA (H1299 experimental group) or negative siRNA (H1299 control group).The expression level of Linc00467 in the lung adenocarcinoma tissue was detected by qRT-PCR with an analysis of its correlation with the clinicopathological characteristics of the patients;the influence of Linc00467 on the proliferation of the A549, H1299 and HUVEC cells was assayed with CCK-8;and the role of Linc00467 in the angiogenesis of the HUVECs was assessed by fibrin bead sprouting assay.Results The expression of Linc00467 in the lung adenocarcinoma tissue was 2.72±1.31 times as high as that in the normal lung tissue (P<0.01), and those in the A549 and H1299 cells were 3.45±0.25 and 3.22±0.33 times as high as those in the human bronchial epithelial (HBE) cells (P<0.01).The expression level of Linc00467 was significantly correlated with the tumor size and vascular invasion (P<0.05).After transfection of Linc00467-siRNA, the expressions of Linc00467 in the A549 and H1299 experimental groups were down-regulated by 72% and 68% as compared with those in the A549 and H1299 control groups (P<0.01).The number of living cells was remarkably decreased in the A549 experimental group in comparison with the A549 control at 48 h (1.29±0.07 vs 1.51±0.09), 72 h (1.53±0.15 vs 2.13±0.11), and 96 h after culturing (1.98±0.18 vs 3.02±0.12), and so was it in the H1299 experimental versus the H1299 control group, but markedly increased in the HUVEC experimental versus the HUVEC control group (P<0.05).At 5 days, HUVEC experimental group, as compared with the HUVEC control, showed a significantly increased number of newly formed vascular branches (7.36 vs 4.25/superbead, P<0.01) and relative length of the blood vessels (3.12 vs 1, P<0.01).Conclusion Linc00467 promotes tumor cell proliferation and angiogenesis and is highly expressed in the lung adenocarcinoma tissue, which is correlated with the tumor size and vascular invasion and suggests that Linc00467 could be a potential biomarker and therapeutic target.
