This study was conducted to investigate the anti-tumor efficacy of nanosecond pulsed electric fields (nsPEFs) on the mouse with A375-GFP melanoma xenograft in vivo. In vivo fluorescence image analysis system was used in this study to evaluate the effects of nsPEFs on human melanoma A375 cell xenograft. On the Day 90 af ter pulse delivery, the skin that had contained A375 cell xenograft was surgically excised and pathologically evalua ted. The changes of scar were recorded by digital camera. The experiment revealed that significant changes in fluorescence value trend and amplitude were found in the treated group from those in the control group. The fluorescence of tumor in the treated group decreased mostly 48 h after the treatment and completely disappeared 10 d after the treatment, while that in control group was increased gradually. Surgical excision of the area confirmed a complete pathologic response. Within a few days after the nsPEFs treatment, a hard scab formed at the treatment region. The scab fell off by the end of the second week. As time went on, the scar gradually became faded and all xenograft tumors were disappeared without recurrence. From the experiment, we learn that nsPEFs can bring good therapeutic effect. It may provide a new approach for the clinical treatment of superficial tumors.

Objective To evaluate effection of the myocardial protective in treatment of coenzyme complex to the VR patients .Methods Eighty patients who need to VR were divided into control group ( n=40) and coenzyme complex group ( n =40) with double -blind.The automatic recovery rate of heart beats after cardiac resuscitation , the changes of postoperative arrhythmia rate , postoperative serum CK-MB, cTnI in 12h in two groups were recorded .Results The automatic recovery rate of heart beats was higher in coenzyme complex group than that in control group , (85%vs 67%, P <0.05).The changes of postopera-tive arrhythmia rate (26%vs 38%), serum CK-MB, cTnI at clamp off of aorta, end of operation,6hour of postoperation and 12 hour of postoperation were lower in coenzyme complex group than those in control group respectively ( all P <0.05 ) .Conclusion Coenzyme complex shows positive protection of myocardial in the VR patients.

Objective To observe the efficacy of multifactor intensive nursing intervention on chronic heart failure patients with outside hospital treatment, including self-management ability and related clinical indicators. Methods By application of prospective study,a total of 215 patients with chronic heart failure discharged from hospital were randomized into the usual care group (105 cases) and the intensive nursing intervention group (1 10 cases).Patients were followed up for 12 months, and 205 patients completed the follow-up.The usual care group only received conventional outpatient follow-up,the intensive intervention group patients received telephone counseling, more detailed clinical follow-up and regular health education. The intervention effect was compared between two groups. Results Compared with the usual care group, the passing rate of sodium/water limit and daily monitoring of weight was higher in the intensive intervention group.Left ventricular ejection fraction and six-minute walking test were better in the intensive intervention group, while the level of NT-pro-BNP was lower in the intensive intervention group.Compared with the usual care group,re-hospitalization rate and incidence of cardiovascular events were lower in the intensive intervention group. Conclusions Multifactor intensive nursing intervention is helpful on improving self-management ability, alleviate cardiac function, reduce re-hospitalization rate and incidence of cardiovascular events for chronic heart failure patients.

Objective To screen the conservative, stable and specific DNA signature sequence in the plasmid of Yersinia pestis. Methods Specific validation trials and stability of the qualification test were carried out to 40 strains of Yersinia pestis,47 strains of non-Yersinia pestis of home and wild types of rodent in Yunnan,by using 32 DNA sequences derived from Yersinia pestis in the plasmid and conventional PCR technology, and Yersinia pestis vaccine strain EV76 as a positive control. Results Four pairs of relatively conservative, stable and specific DNA marker genes were screened:YPMT1.05c,YPMT1.03c,YPMT1.42 and YPMT1.04c.Conclusions The 4 pairs of Yersinia pestis DNA signature sequences can be used for rapid diagnosis of plague.

Objective To study the effects of glycogen synthase kinase-3?(GSK-3?)and free radical on neuron apoptosis of hypoxic-ischemic brain damage(HIBD)in newborn rats. Methods Eighty 7-day-old neonatal rats were randomly divided into 2 groups:normal group and hypoxic-ischemic(HI)group.Rats in HI group were subjected to left common carotid artery ligation, exposed to 80 mL/L oxygen and 920 mL/L nitrogen gas in 37 ℃ closed container for 2.5 h.Rats in 2 groups were killed at 6 hours,24 hours,48 hours,72 hours,5 days after hypoxia respectively. The neuron apoptosis was detected by flow cytometry. The activity of GOD-PX and the contents of SOD and MDA were detected by spectrophotometry, the level of GSK-3? was mensurated by Enzyme-linked immumosorbent assay(ELISA).Results The rates of neuronal apoptosis in HI group were significantly higher than those in normal group at 6,24,48 and 72 hours after hypoxia, respectively(Pa

Objective To discuss the research status and hotspots related to breeding, planting, harvest, processing and storage of Lycium L. in China. Methods Relevant literature about breeding, planting, harvest, processing and storage of Lycium L. in CNKI from January 2004 to December 2013 was retrieved by computers. CiteSpaceⅡ was introduced to carry out key word analysis, high-frequency key word obtaining, co-occurrence network of high-frequency key words, and dendrogram of high-frequency words. Results Totally 759 articles were included. Key words about breeding were “genetic diversity”, “male sterile”, “its sequence”, “callus issue”, and“anther culture”. Key words about planting were“output”,“quality”,“hard twig cuttage”,“irrigation amount”. Key words about harvesting and processing were“picking machine of Lycium L.”,“drying kiln of Lycium L.”,“hot air drying”, and “combined drying”. Key words about storage were “pesticide residue”, “heavy metal”, and“organophosphorus pesticide”. Co-occurrence network of high-frequency key words showed that the research hotspots were pesticide residue, test of heavy metal and the storage of fresh fruits. Dendrogram of high-frequency key words showed that the high-frequency key words were “package”, “refreshment”, and “lycium barbarum polysaccharide”. Conclusion The research hotspots of planting of Lycium L. are planting skills effecting the output and quality of Lycium L.; In the field of harvesting and processing of Lycium L., design and research of picking machine has replaced traditional manual picking. Modern hot air drying has already replaced traditional drying in the sun or drying skills; In the aspect of storage of Lycium L., the study on the refreshment of Lycium L. has attached attention.

Objective To observe the protective effect of progesterone on brain edema in newborn rats with hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy(HIE).Methods Fifty-two 7-day-old neonatal rats were randomly divided into 5 groups:normol control group(group A),hypoxic-ischemic group (group B) and pretreatment groups(group C,D and E).Rats were subjected to left common carotid artery ligation, then were exposed to 8% oxygen and 92% nitrogen for 2.5 hours to establish HIE model.Progesterone was injected intraperitoneally into the groups C,D and E rats respectively at 30 minutes before hypoxia. All rats were killed at the 24 hours after operations, then the contents of water, sodium, potassium were mensurated. Results The contentation of water in group B was higher than that in group A,the contentation of water, sodium in groups C,D and E were significantly lower compared with group B, but the contents potassium were no difference between group C,E and B. Conclusion Progesterone exerts a prominent preventive and protetive effects on the hypoxic ischemic brain edema in newborn rats.
