[Objective]To study the pathogenesis of lumbar degenerative spondylolisthesis(LDS)through the degeneration degree of lumbar facet joints and the changes of the joint sagittal angle of little zygapophysial joints and the endplate hypozygal angle in patients with LDS and lumbar disc herniation (LDH).[Methods]The image data of 79 patients with lumbar degenerative diseases were collected from October 2009 to November 2011.There were 42 patients with L4-5 LDS(experimental group)and 37 patients in same age with L4-5 LDH(control group).The L4-5 facet joints were graded by Weishaupt ect.lumbar facet joint osteoarthritis imaging grading method.The joint sagittal angle of L4-5 little zygapophysial joints and the L4endplate hypozygal angle were detected by CT.The L4-5 facet joint osteoarthritis grading,joint sagittal angle of lumbar little zygapophysial joints,L4 endplate hypozygal angle and bilateral symmetry between two groups were compared.[Results]There was no grade 0 of facet joint osteoarthritis in both two groups.The numbers of grade 1,2,3 in experimental group were 4,20,18 cases,respectively,while the numbers in control group were 21,14,2 cases.There was significant difference between the numbers of two groups(P ＜ 0.05).The joint sagittal angle of L4-5 little zygapophysial joint,deviation angle of sagittal angle asymmetry and L endphtehypozygal angle in experimental group(26.62°± 1.67°,8.79°± 4.28°,116.92±6.86°)had statistical significance compared with those in control group(45.07° ± 7.32°,5.14° ± 4.28°,104.95° ± 4.97°)(P ＜0.01).The deviation angle of endplate hypozygal angle asymmetry in experimental group had no statistical significance compared with that in control group(P ＞ 0.05).[Conclusions] The sagittal orientation of lumbar facet joint angle and the endplate hypozygal angle increasing have important significance in LDS.

Methods Forty-five SD rats were randomly divided into normal control group,COPD group and COPD +TNF-? group(n=15).Rat COPD models were established by passive cigarette smoking in COPD group and COPD +TNF-? group.After dissecting and isolating the extensor digitorium longus(EDL) muscles,the EDL muscles were either cultured with media containing 10 ug/L recombinant rat TNF-? or without TNF-?.The subsequent changes in ubiquitin mRNA and protein levels were determined by real-time quantitative PCR and Western blot,respectively. OBJECTIVE:To provide reference for reasonable and safe use of drugs in children. METHODS:580 prescription drug instructions of chemical drugs and chemical product for treatment were collected from our hospital. Children information stated in drug instruction of exclusive drugs for children and special drugs,and in dosage and usage,clinical trial,pharmacokinetics and other items were all analyzed statistically ratio analysis and sequence analysis. RESULTS:The exclusive drugs for children were few,and major dosage form were injection. The instruction of special drugs were lack of children’s information. Usage and dosage based on monotonous evidence. The pharmacokinetic parameters were incomplete,and there were slender amount of data about chil-dren clinical trials. CONCLUSIONS:The drug instruction of drugs for children are looking blue. It is urgent to standard drug in-struction and complete medication information for children,so as to ensure safe and effective of drug use.

Objective · To explore the effects of brisk walking on blood pressure, body mass index (BMI), and autonomic nerve activity of male elderly with hypertension in community-based health centers in Shanghai. Methods · A total of 630 elderly men received brisk walking treatment (>10000 steps/d) voluntarily, who were selected from six community-based health centers in Pudong New Area of Shanghai. Among them, 210 people stick to training for 12 weeks. According to whether suffering from hypertension, the people were assigned to hypertension intervened group (intervention group, n=110) and normal intervened group (control group 1, n=100). Blood pressure, BMI, heart rate and autonomic nerve activity before and after the training were compared. Results · After 12 weeks of training, systolic blood pressure (SBP), diastolic blood pressure (DBP) and sympathetic nerve activity of intervention group were significantly lower than those before the training (P<0.05). SBP was also significantly lower than control group 2 (P<0.05). However, heart rate, BMI, parasympathetic nerve activity and baroreceptor reflex sensitivity did not change significantly after the training (P>0.05). Conclusion · Brisk walking treatment lasting for 12 weeks can decrease blood pressure and sympathetic nerve activity in elderly men with hypertension. It is worthy to be popularized in the community.

Objective: To study the effect of arsenic trioxide (As2O3) on human pancreatic cancer cell proliferation and apoptosis (mainly early stage) in vitro. Methods: SW1990 cells line were trea ted with As2O3 at different concentration. Cell proliferation was evaluated by MTT and apoptosis by Annexin-Ⅴ-fluostaining, electron-microscopy, flow cytometry and immunocytochemical staining of Bcl-2 and Bax. Results: As2O3 and cisplatin had the same cytotoxity on SW1990. The cytotoxic effe ct on tumor cell was produced by induction of apoptosis. Twelve hours after cult ure with 10 μg/ml As2O3, much more SW1990 cells went into apoptosis than t he control. The apoptosis rate reached 24% after 48 h with the similar concentra tion of As2O3. Immunohistochemical study revealed that the expression of Bcl -2 was decreased after treated with As2O3. Conclusion: As 2O3 can depress the proliferation of SW1990 in vitro, mainly through the i nduction of apoptosis, and it is a potential agent for pancreatic cancer chemoth erapy.
