DNA methylation is closely related to the genesis and development of glioma. The CpG islands hypermethylation in promoter region of DNA repair genes, cell cycle controlling genes, apoptosis related genes, tumor suppressor genes and invasion related genes are found in glioma.Finding the specific methylation profile and molecular marker of glioma is helpful for the pathology class, early diagnosis and prognostic evalua-tion.Meanwhile,DNA methylation has the characteristic of reversibility, which may provide new ways for the treatment of glioma.

International Journal of Cerebrovascular Diseases 2015;(8):637-640
Atherosclerosis is the most important cause of ischemic stroke. microRNAs can play an important role in the lipid metabolism, vascular inflammatory response, angiogenesis, as wel as smooth muscle cel proliferation and phenotypic conversion, etc. by regulating the functions of vascular endothelial cel s, vascular smooth muscle cel s, and mononuclear macrophages. It is closely associated with the occurrence and development of atherosclerosis. This article mainly reviews the regulatory effect of microRNAs on lipid metabolism and vascular inflammatory response in pathogenesis of atherosclerosis.

OBJECTIVETo evaluate the effect of the implementation of CIDA/WHO TB Control project in Shangdong Province.
METHODSThe statistical data and supervision information of 42 counties involved in the project from September 2002 to December 2005 were collected and analyzed.
RESULTSThe recorded rate of smear-positive TB patients increased from 23.89 per 100 000 persons to 41.04 per 100 000 persons after 3 turns of project in the 3 years. The cure rate in initially smear-positive patients was 97.21% among 14 592 patients having completed the course of treatment; it was 95.36% among 4978 recurred smear-positive patients after the treatment. Thus, the goal aiming at high rate of diagnosing and curing was achieved.
CONCLUSIONThe successful implementation of the project has improved the diagnose and treatment of infectious pulmonary TB patients in Shangdong Province and facilitate the implementation of Provincial TB Control Program.

Objective To study the clinical application of finger reconstruction by transplantation of two second toes and evaluate the postoperative appearance and function regarding the reconstructed hand and donor feet. Methods Defect of fingers were treated by transplantation and reconstruction with a total of 74 cases, including two second toes transplantation for both thumbs in 2 cases, thumb with index finger in 10 cas es, index finger with middle finger in 8 cases and middle finger with ring finger in 17 cases. Results Sevetythree fingers survived except 1 failed. During the follow up examination made from 3 to 36 months, the reconstructed fingers could move, write and dress with ease, pinch forcefully, show good recovery of manual work and the sensation of pain and warmth. Two-point discrimination found to be between 5 to 10 mm. Both donor feet have symmetrical appearance with normal gait and satisfactory motion. Also, no pain was complained. Conclusion Transplantation of two second toes from both feet is a good method to reconstruct defect of multiple fingers, and has little effect on the appearance and motion of feet.

OBJECTIVE:To identify a new adulterated dye,and to establish simultaneous detection method for 9 orange-yel-low dyes in Typhae Pollen. METHODS:TLC and LC-MS were used for the identification of the new adulterated dye;TLC and HPLC method were used for determining 9 orange-yellow dyes. The determination was performed on Welch AQ-C18 column with mobile phase consisting of acetonitrile-0.05 mol/L ammonium acetate solution (gradient elution) at the flow rate of 1.0 mL/min. The detection wavelength were set at 432 nm (lemon yellow, metanil yellow, gold orange O,basic orangeⅡ) and 484 nm (sun-set yellow, acid orange Ⅰ,gold orangeⅡ,orange G,basic orange 21). The column temperature was 35 ℃.The sample size was 10 μL. RESULTS:TLC spots of auramine O,lemon yellow and new adulterated dye were clear and well separated without in-terference from negative control;new adulterated dye was identified as metanil yellow. TLC spots of lemon yellow, sunset yellow, orange G,acid orangeⅠ,gold orangeⅡ,auramine O,metanil yellow, basic orange 21 and basic orangeⅡwere clear and well sep-arated without interference from negative control. The limits of detection were 0.30,0.20,0.33,0.16,0.19,0.19,0.31,0.26, 0.30 mg/kg. CONCLUSIONS:The established method is able to detect adulterated dye and orange-yellow dye in Typhae Pollen rap-idly and accurately.

Chinese Journal of Medical Instrumentation 2006;30(5):388-390
An introduction of an intelligent testing instrument for medical electrical equipment security is given in this article. The realization of its testing functions is based on a single-chip processor, the high-voltage control circuit and the relay combination network technology. It can be used to test security parameters such as the continuous leakage current, patient auxiliary current, dielectric strength and protective earth impedance. It is suitable for the medical electricity security testing of Kind I, II and Type B, BF, CF (internal power supply) medical electrical equipments.

Chinese Journal of Plastic Surgery 2004;20(2):110-112
OBJECTIVESurgery to reshape the nose with an implant has been a regular procedure for enhancing a patient's appearance and self-confidence. The purpose of this study was to establish a three-dimensional surgical simulation system. which can provide the patients with realistic prediction of their own postoperative appearance in computer and specifically produce a nose implant for an individual patient.
METHODSPreoperative CT data and image-processing techniques were employed to generate a three dimensional template of the papatient' s face. Three-dimensional morphing processes were then applied to predict and compare the outcome of plastic procedures on a patient-specific nose surface, according to the patient' s expectation. By comparing and revising the changes before and after simulation, digital prototypes of the nose implants could be generated. The templates to create custom-made silicone implants were than produced by a computer controlled device.
RESULTSAccurately regeneration of 3-D images and realistic operative simulations could be achieved with this system. The implants produced exactly conformed to the results of simulation. No curving and reshaping were needed during operating. The clinical results extremely matched with the simulations.
CONCLUSIONThe system enhances surgeon-patient communication and facilitates preoperative planning. It is especially desirable for implant surgery with less guesswork of size, contour, and orientation of the implant. The best chance of optimal results could be achieved.
