Methods: Chinese traditional medicine therapy (CTMT) and psychotherapy and the combination of CTMT and psychotherapy were applied to three groups of anorexia children respectively. Results: The cure rate of the CTMT group was 27.5%, the psychotherapy group was 31.8%, and the combination group was 89.3%. Conclusion: The combination of psychotherapy and Chinese traditional medicine was much more effective than psychotherapy or Chinese traditional medicine alone in the treatment of anorexia in children.
2.A Study of Epileptiform Hippocampal Unit Activity Induced by Introcerebroventrocular injection of Kainic Acid in the Awake Rat
Journal of Third Military Medical University 1983;0(03):-
After introcerebroventricular injection of kainic acid(KA) in the awake rat, three types of hippocampal unit responses, i. e- positive units, negative units and indifferent units, were recorded- Most positive units were hippocampal complex spike cells which correspond histologically to hippocampal pyramidal cells, and most hippocampal complex spike cells fired in positive bursts after KA treatment. In the early period after KA injection, the positive units were concentrated in CA3 area. It was suggested that:(1)the activities of positive units may be considered as the typical epileptiform hippocampal unit activity induced by KA, and the firing characteristics of the negative units may be the result of influence of hippocampal inhibitory interneurons or that of the excessive cellular depolarization;(2) the hippocampal pyramidal cells were more sensitive to the epileptogenic effect of KA than the hippocampal interneurons, and some pyramidal cells in CA3 area may serve as "pacemaker neurons" in KA induced epileptogenesis.
3.Determination of 20 organochlorine pesticide residues in Gancaoxin Granule and Fuxin Tablet by GC-ECD and GC-MS respectively and comparisons between the two methods
Chinese Traditional Patent Medicine 1992;0(11):-
AIM:To investigate the differences between GC-ECD and GC-MS methods which were employed in the determination of 20 organochlorine pesticide residues in Gancaoxin Granule(Radix et Rhizoma glycyrrhizae, zine preparation) and Fuxin Tablet(Folium Crataegi). METHODS: The solid-phase extraction was used for the clean-up of samples, the quartz capillary columns of DB-1701_(MS) and HP-5_(MS) were selected for the separations of target pesticides,ECD and MS were introduced as the detections respectively.N_2(99.99%,ECD) and He_2((99.999%,)MS) were used as carries,a column flow was at 1.0 mL/min,splitless was chosen as injection mode, injection amount was 1 ?L for all instances, the inlet was set at 230 ℃ and ECD at 300 ℃,negative ions-chemical ionization was used as ion source in MS,the source temperature was set at 200 ℃,the electron energy was at 100 eV,and the temperature of transfer line was at 290 ℃;methane was used as reagent gas with a flow of 3.0 mL/min,scan mode was for qualification,SIM mode was for quantitation. RESULTS: Because 20 organochlorine pesticides were impossible to be separated all on single column by an optimal temperature program to present maximum 19 peaks,on HP and column, both heptachlor-epoxide and oxy-chlordane appeared as a peak, while the overlaid peak in DB-1701 column was contributed by eicher pentachlorothioanisole and aldrin in ECD or oxy-chlordane and ?-666 in MS.We selected SIM mode in MS detection with different m/z and abundance to quantify.By a comparison, the residues of 20 organochlorine pesticides in two preparations showed higher in ECD than that in MS,except for hexachlorobenxene,trans-chlordane,pp'-DDE and endrin, the LOQs of 20 insecticides in ECD was commonly lower than that in MS. CONCLUSION: The ECD method has an advantage in sensitivity and precision, but its result on either qualification and quantitation is prone to the interferences of false positive peaks and background;while MS detection has high specificity in qualification and good accuracy in quantitation, but lower sensitivity and precision compared to ECD.Therefore,GC-ECD method for 20 organochlorine pesticide residues is sensitive and of good precision, while GC-MS method is rapid and accurate.
4.Advances in technology of minimal residual disease detection in childhood acute myeloid leukemia
International Journal of Pediatrics 2016;43(10):760-762,768
In recent years, the efficacy of treatment of childhood acute myeloid leukemia (AML) has been greatly improved, but relapse is still a main factor affecting prognosis.A large number of studies have indicated that the level of minimal residual disease(MRD) is closely related to the relapse of AML,and it also has great significance to predict the prognosis of the disease and guide treatment selection. The hot spot in MRD research is searching for detecting methods with high specificity and sensitivity, simple and suitable characteristics. This article aims to review the latest progress of MRD detecting technology of AML.
5.Exploration on HP-Associated Disease Distribution and Age Distribution in Children
Journal of Chinese Physician 2001;0(09):-
duodenal ulcer; HP is the main cause of gastritis. The total HP positive rate and HP-associated gastritis rate in Chinese children are lower than those in Chinese adults and overseas children; the rate rises with age and reach the highest level in the period of 12~14 year old.
6.The standard of quality control of Yiqi Zhixue Granule
Chinese Traditional Patent Medicine 1992;0(03):-
AIM:To improve the standard of quality control of Yiqi Zhixue Granule(Radix Codonopsis,Radix Astragali,Rhizoma Atractylodis macrocephalae, etc.) METHODS: In the prescription, both Radix codonopsis and Radix Astragali were identified by HPLC.Folium mahoniae was distinguished by TLC.Rhizoma Bletillae was authenticated by microscope.Morever,RP-HPLC method was adopted to determine the astragaloside content in the productions, using a column of C_(18),the column temperature was at 35(?C),acetonitrile-water(32∶68) as a mobile phase,he flow rate was 1.0 mL/min,and ELSD as detection in which the tube temperature was set at 102(?C) and the air flow was at 2.8 mL/min,the impactor was chosen off. RESULTS: The established identification methods were simple and proper, reflecting a good specificity, while the determination method was accurate and reliable, which showed the recovery of 97.95%,RSD=2.21%(n=9),the intermediate precision of RSD=2.67%(n=3),the robustness of RSD=3.67%(n=3) between columns, and the LOQ of 0.539 2 ?g,RSD=2.92%(n=5). CONCLUSION: The improved standard of quality control of Yiqi Zhixue Granule is not only practical but capable of effectively controlling the quality of the medicine as well.
7.Establishment of a cell-based filovirus entry inhibitor evaluation system.
Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica 2015;50(12):1538-1544
Ebola virus, the cause of severe and fatal hemorrahagic fever in humans, belongs to filovirus family. This study was designed to establish a cell-based screening and evaluation system in the pharmacological study of antivirus compounds. Three reporter systems were established with recombinant pseudoviral luciferase of HIV core (pNL4-3.Luc.R(-)E(-)) packed with filovirus glycoprotein (EBOV-Zaire GP/HIV-luc, EBOV-Sudan GP/HIV-luc and Marburg GP/HIV-luc), which are required for virus entry of cells. The level of filovirus entry was determined by the expression of luciferase reporter gene in the infected cells. For screening of filovirus entry inhibitors, the vesicular stomatitis G packed pseudovirions (VSVG/HIV-luc) was used to determine the compound specificity. The results of known filovirus entry inhibitors demonstrated successful establishment of the new model systems, which would be useful in high throughput screening of anti-filovirus drugs in the future.
