2.Influence of interleukin-11 on graft versus host disease and graft versus leukemia after allogenic bone marrow transplantation in acute lymphoblastic leukemic junior rats
Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 1992;0(06):-
Objective To study the influence of interleukin-11 (IL-11) on graft versus host disease(GVHD) and graft versus leukemia(GVL) after allogenic bone marrow transplantation and related mechanism in acute lymphoblastic leukemic(ALL) junior mice. Methods The impact of IL-11 on CD4 and CD8 T cell after transplantation was evaluated by flow cytometry;it was observed that the GVHD pathology chance of internal after transplatation in ALL junior mice;the survial time after transplantantion was recorded;the level of tumor necrosis factor-?(TNF-?) which evidently related to GVHD was evaluated by ELISA.Results IL-11 could decrease the quantity of CD4 T cell and increase CD8 T cell;IL-11 could obviously increase the survival time and decrease the level of TNF-?. After ALL junior mice transplatated,IL-11 could delay and relieve GVHD.Conclusion IL-11 can alleviate GVHD and retain the effect of GVL after allogenic bone marrow transplantation.

The brown slime inside pipeline of the polluted mineral waters well was analyzed. It was confirmed that the brown slime was a biofilm formed mainly by growth of bacteria contaminant, using microscope analysis. After treated with HCl, the brown crystals and mycelioid matter presented in slimes disappeared. It was verified these were metal deposits. The samples produced Prussia blue deposits by dropping K 4Fe(CN) 6 and HCl, which proved that the metal deposits were iron compound. Also it was believed the biofilm was produced by growth of iron bacteria, mixed with deposits of iron compound. The iron bacteria have been isolated from the slimes and cultured in the laboratory. The colony on agar plate also produced Prussia blue deposits after treated with K 4Fe(CN) 6 and HCl. The cells form of pure culture was the same as that in the samples by electronmicroscope analysis. Therefore, It indicated that the bacteria on biofilm inside pipeline were iron bacteria mainly.

To analysis the differences between Tripterygium wilfordii and T. hypoglaucum, specimens of their leaves were collected from five production regions and analyzed by ultra performance liquid chromatography coupled with quadrupole time of flight mass spectrometry (UPLC-Q-TOF-MS). The data were analyzed by multivariate statistical method, such as hierarchical cluster analysis (HCA) principal component analysis (PCA) and orthogonal signal correction partial least square discrimination (OPLS-DA). Potential markers with VIP values above 5.0 and corresponding r values above 0.85, were selected and further tested by combining mann-Whitney nonparametric. Those with P < 0.001 and AUC = 1 were confirmed as metabolite markers to discriminate them from each other. Results revealed that the two species were obviously different in their leaf metabolites. Based on their mass spectra, 23 potential metabolite markers were identified to distinguish T. wilfordii from T. hypoglaucum.

7.A totally laparoscopic peritoneal free flap for reconstruction of hand.
Chinese Journal of Traumatology 2016;19(5):302-304
Management of defects on the hand and foot with exposed tendons remains a major challenge for plastic surgeons. Here, we present a case of hand reconstruction with a totally laparoscopic peritoneal flap. The anterior rectus sheath was preserved in situ. The peritoneal free flap supplied by peritoneal branches of the deep inferior epigastric artery was retrieved by laparoscopy to cover the soft tissue defect of the hand. The defect of the dorsal hand was 17 cm ×12 cm. The peritoneal flap measuring 22 cm × 15 cm survived completely without any complications. A following split-thickness skin graft offered the suc- cessful wound closure. Motor and sensory function improved gradually within the first year follow-up. The totally laparoscopic peritoneal free flap is a good choice for reconstruction of the soft tissue de- fects accompanied by exposed tendons on the hand and foot.

Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica 2015;50(2):148-153
Traditional herbal medicines, Panax ginseng, Panax quinquefolium and Panax notoginseng, attract our attention for their extensive and powerful pharmacological activities. Ginsenosides are the main active constituents of these medicinal herbs. The related glycosyltransferases involved in ginsenoside biosynthesis are the key enzymes which catalyze the last important step. Modification of ginsenoside aglycones by glycosyltransferases produces the complexity and diversity of ginsenosides, which have more extensive pharmacological activity. At present, ginsenoside aglycones and compound K have been obtained by synthetic biology. As the last step of ginsenoside biosynthesis, glycosylation of ginsenoside aglycones has been studied intensively in recent years. This review summarizes the basic strategies and research advances in studies on glycosyltransferases involved in ginsenoside biosynthesis, which is expected to lay the theoretical foundation for the in-depth research of biosynthetic pathway of ginsenosides and their production by synthetic biology.

The study aims to develop a unified method to determine seven phenolic acids (neochlorogenic acid, chlorogenic acid, 4-caffeoylquinic acid, caffeic acid, isochlorogenic acid B, isochlorogenic acid A and isochlorogenic acid C) contained in honeysuckle flower that is the monarch drug of all the eight Yinqiao Jiedu serial preparations using quantitative analysis of multi-components by single-marker (QAMS). Firstly, chlorogenic acid was used as a reference to get the average relative correction factors (RCFs) of the other phenolic acids in ratios to the reference; columns and instruments from different companies were used to validate the durability of the achieved RCFs in different levels of standard solutions; and honeysuckle flower extract was used as the reference substance to fix the positions of chromatographic peaks. Secondly, the contents of seven phenolic acids in eight different Yinqiao Jiedu serial preparations samples were calculated based on the RCFs durability. Finally, the quantitative results were compared between QAMS and the external standard (ES) method. The results have showed that the durability of the achieved RCFs is good (RSD during 0.80% - 2.56%), and there are no differences between the quantitative results of QAMS and ES (the relative average deviation < 0.93%). So it can be successfully used to the quantitative control of honeysuckle flower principally prescribed in Yinqiao Jiedu serial preparations.

Objective To explore the effect of timeliness motivation theory-based continuing care on the self-care ability and healthy behavior in elderly patients with type 2 diabetes. Methods A total of 202 elderly patients with type 2 diabetes in our hospital were selected, and were randomly divided into observation group and control group according to the random number table, with 101 cases in each group. The control group were given healthy related education during hospitalization , and post-discharge telephone follow-up every month, lasting 10~15min each time. The observation group were additionally given timeliness motivation theory-based continuing care by telephone follow-up each month , including emotional arousal , need motivation , examples stimulating and benefit motivation, lasting 6 months. Their self-care ability and healthy behavior in the two groups were compared. Result The self-care ability in the observation group was significantly significantly better than that of the control group (P<0.001), and had significantly much more healthy behaviors than the latter (P < 0.001). Conclusion Timeliness motivation theory-based continuing care can improve the self-care ability and healthy behavior in elderly patients with type 2 diabetes.
