1.The clinical study of red blood cell distribution width in patients with chronic heart failure
Journal of Chinese Physician 2013;15(7):890-894
Objective To investigate the association between red blood cell distribution width (RDW) level and the change of cardiac function in patients with chronic heart failure (CHF) and explore its possible mechanism by studying the correlation between RDW and left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF),left ventricular end-diastolic dimension (LVEDD),and high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hsCRP),and uric acid(UA) in patients with chronic heart failure. Methods Two hundred and eighty patients were included in our study. Each patient received the examinations of echocardiography, electrocar diogram (ECG),blood routine, and blood biochemistry.According to the different LVEF,LVEDD and RDW,the patients were divided into groups A,B,C,and D,respectively. The groups were compared with each other. Results According to the different LVEF,from group A to group D,with a progressive decrease in LVEF,RDW level were increased gradually [(13.48 ± 0.85) %,(14.10 ± 1.46) %,(14.59 ±1.59)%,(14.75±1.42)%,F =12.698,P <0.01].There was significant difference among the four groups (P <0.01).RDW level correlated inversely with LVEF(r =-0.538,P <0.01).According to the different LVEDD,from group A to group D,with a progressive increase in LVEDD,RDW level increased gradually [(13.53 ±0.91)%,(14.12±1.42)%,(14.60±1.68)%,(14.76±1.39)%,F =12.276,P <0.01].There was significant difference among the four groups (P <0.01).RDW level correlated positively with LVEDD (r =0.343,P <0.01).In chronic heart failure patients, there were significant linear correlation between RDW and hs-CRP,LgUA (r =0.486,0.513,P <0.05).Conclusions RDW correlated with the change of cardiac function in patients with chronic heart failure. With a progressive decrease in LVEF and a progressive increase in LVEDD,RDW level increased gradually.RDW had a strong correlation with hs-CRP,LgUA.This indicates that RDW level increase may be related to the inflammation and oxidative reaction in patients with chronic heart failure.
2.SPERMICIDAL STUDY ON MANDELIC ACID IN VITRO
Journal of Xi'an Jiaotong University(Medical Sciences) 1982;0(04):-
Mandelic acid(MA). the hydrolysate of a compound extracted from the leaves of prunus Persica B, possesses a strong spermicidal effect in vitro. In this experiment. the International Planned Parenthood Federation screening method for spermicides was used. Dilutions of MA, between 0.8mg/ml and 3.3mg/ml, totally immobilized human spermatozoa in less than 1 min. When the lowest spermicidal concentrotions of MA and boric acid against human spermatozoa were compared, it was found that MA was 40 times more potent than boric acid.

Natamycin is a polyene macrolide antifungal antibiotic ,which is wide ly used in the food industry in order to prevent mould contamination .Biosynthe s is gene cluster of natamycin is discovered by the overall of progress in molecul ar biology of natamycin, including 16 open reading frames which includes the gen e for 26-member ring formation of natamycin (pimS0-pimS4 ) and the modifying gene s, and the function of the protein including polyketide synthases(PKSs)、PimD、P imJ、PimK were studied
6.Expression of TGF-βRⅡ and fibronectin in developing mouse kidney
Acta Anatomica Sinica 2010;41(2):281-284
ObjectiveTo observe the chronological and spatial expressions of transforming growth factor-β receptor typeⅡ(TGF-βRⅡ)and fibronectin (Fn )in developing mouse kidney and investigate the relationship between the expressions and kidney development. Methods Immunohistochemistry and Western blotting were used to observe and measure the expression of TGF-βRⅡ and Fn in embryos and postnatal mouse kidneys. Results The expression of TGF-βRⅡ was noticed in all stages of glomeruli, renal tubes and collecting ducts, and increased gradually with ages; The expression of Fn was noticed too in all stages of glomeruli, renal tubes and collecting ducts, except for the comma-shaped bodies, and also increased gradually with ages. Conclusion TGF-β and Fn might play an important role in the development and maturation of mouse kidney.

Objective To assess the chest X-ray radiographic findings in children with influenza A (H1N1) virus infection. Methods The chest X-ray radiographies in 67 children with influenza A(H1N1) virus infection were reviewed in this study. The chest radiographies were obtained 3-8 days after the onset of symptoms and for the follow-up. Results The abnormalities were bilateral in 53 patients and unilateral in 7 patients. The predominant radiographic findings were bilateral patchy consolidation (n=42) with rapid confluence in 10 patients, lobular consolidation (n=7) with interstitial hyperplasia in 1 patient 3 month later, diffuse consolidation (n=11) with interstitial hyperplasia in all patients after 3 month. ConclusionThe predominant chest X-ray radiographic findings are bilateral patchy consolidation and diffuse consolidation with interstitial hyperplasia afterward.

Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 2003;0(07):-
Warfarin is one of the most widely used anticoagulants in clinical setting. There are great interindividual differences in both therapeutic efficacy and dose requirement, which greatly limits its application in clinic. This article summarizes the influence of genetic factors on interindividual and interethnic differences of warfarin, providing sufficient guidance for personalized medicine.
9.Expressions of fibronectin and TGF-?RⅡ in development of glomeruli of mouse kidney
Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 2001;0(08):-
Objective To observe the chronological and spatial expression of fibronectin(Fn)and TGF-?RⅡ in developing mouse glomeruli. Methods The expressions of Fn and TGF-?RⅡ were examined by immunohistochemical and stereological method in embryos(including fetal age of 12,14,16 and 18d)and postnatal mouse kidneys(including the age of 1,3,7,14,21,28 and 42d).Results Immunohistochemical results showed that at fetal age of 14d,Fn was stained in S-shaped corpuscles, but not stained in the comma-shaped corpuscles. After fetal age 16d,Fn was expressed in all stages of glomeruli except the comma-shaped corpuscles.TGF-?RⅡ was stained in all stages of glomeruli from fetal age 14d.Fn and TGF-?RⅡ were localized respectively in basement membrane and cell plasma of glomeruli.Stereological analysis showed that the expression of Fn was increased gradually in all stages of glomeruli with renal development, except in the comma-shaped corpuscles;also, the expression of TGF-?RⅡ increased gradually in all stages of glomeruli with renal development. Conclusion The expressions of Fn and TGF-?RⅡ in embryonic and postnatal mouse kidney show chronological and spatial sequence, implying that they might play a role in the development and maturation of renal glomeruli of mouse.

Objective To investigate the role of neuro-specific DNA repair gene Nbn in mouse hippocampus development by observing the morphological differences in Nbn-CNS-Del and Nbn-CNS-Ctr mice. Methods Serial sections and stereology were used to quantitatively analyze the development of mouse hippocampus on postnatal day 7,14 and 21.Results Compared with that of the control group, the hippocampus development of Nbn-CNS-Del mice lagged behind. In Nbn-CNS-Del mice,on day 21,the profile area of pyramidal layer of hippocampus and granular layer of dentate gyrus decreased(P
