1.The Experimental Research on Heat Shock Pretreatment in Preventing Achilles Tendon's Enthesiopathy
Journal of Medical Research 2006;0(08):-
Objective The aim of this study was to elucidate the prevention of the enthesiopathy which was caused by the pretreatment of heat shock. Methods In this experiment,44 S.D male rats(weight ~100g)were randomly divided into the control group(7 rats),the exercise group(22rats)and the pretreatment group(15 rats). Both ankles of the rats from the pretreatment group were soaked in the warm water(about 42 degree centigrate)for 15 minutes. Then the rats from both pretreatment group and exercise group were stimulated by AC electronic current for 12 weeks. Results From the forth week, the highest jump and the number of the effective jump in the exercise group obviously decreased. In the pretreatment group there was no obvious change during the whole exercise course. Conclusions The pretreatment of heat shock could effectively prevent pathologic changes of enthesiopathy.Soaking the feet in warm water befer training could effectively prevent the athletes from Achilles tendon's enthesiopathy.
2.Monitoring of Medical Staff's Hand Contamination after Change for Infected Wound and Managing Hand Hygiene
Chinese Journal of Nosocomiology 1994;0(04):-
OBJECTIVE To monitor the hand contamination after dressing change for the infected wound and to explore an effective way for hand hygiene. METHODS Caregivers were divided into three groups after applying dressing on infected wound:group 1(no hand-washing),group 2(regular hand-washing),and group 3(standard hand-washing),the pathogens in hands were monitored and the effects of two ways of hand-washing were compared. RESULTS The rate of hand-carrying pathogens after dressing change for the infected wound was 100.0%,the qualified rate of regular hand-washing was only 47.9% and that of standard hand-washing (six-steps method)was 97.9%. CONCLUSIONS The standard hand-washing is more effective than regular hand-washing. Correct hand hygiene should be emphasized to prevent and control nosocomial infection.

Objective:To investigate the effects of the psychological stress on peripheral blood lymphocytes apoptosis and Bax,Bcl-2 gene expression in rats after being given different intensity of noise stress. Methods:All 24 SD rats were divided into three groups:control, high intensity of the noise stress, middle intensity of the noise stress. The apoptosis in peripheral blood lymphocytes(PBL)of rats was demonstrated with the flow cytometer to determine the percentages of apoptosis in rat PBL,and the expression changes of related Bcl-2,Bax genes were observed by us- ing immunohistochemical method.Results:1)After high intensity of the noise stress for three weeks, the apoptosis in rat PBL increased significantly compared with the control.2)After high intensity of the noise stress for three weeks, Bcl-2 expression as down-regulation in PBL,but the B ax expression remained obviously high. Conclusion:It indi- cates that apoptosis exists in the immunocytes of rats in the course of high intensity of the psychological stress and it consists with the expression of the related regulatory genes.

Objective To investigate the association of insulin dose with clinical factors of type 2 diabetes. Methods We reviewed the data of 214 type 2 diabetic patients who received insulin regimens. We compared the insulin dose and period at the targeted blood glucose levels among 6 groups according to different type of oral hypoglycemic agents. Results There existed statistically significant correlations of the glucose-targeted insulin dose with course,FPG,BMI,combination therapy with oral hypoglycemic agent(P<0.1,test level P=0.1).Merely metformin failure group took less insulin than the group admitted due to combination therapy failure (P=0.016, 0.53(0.35~0.62)U/kg and 0.63(0.51~0.75)U/kg respectively). The longest targeted period existed in the later. Relationship between the targeted bedtime insulin NPH dose and FPG level can be demonstrated by equation Y=0.255X+7.8. Conclusions The targeted insulin dose is influenced by synthetic factors. Patients admitted due to combination oral hypoglycemic drug failure have the maximal targeted insulin dose and the longest titration period. The final bedtime insulinNPH dose can be predicted by FPG level.

Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2006;0(14):-
Objective To explore the change of serum level of neuron specific enolase (NSE) in neonates with asphyxia before and after head mild hypothermia. Methods Eighty-two asphyxial neonates were selected, including 39 mild asphyxial neonates and 43 severe asphy-xial neonates, and 29 healthy neonates were selected as control group.Forty-three severe asphyxial neonates were randomly assigned into mild hypothermia treatment group and traditional treatment group.Neonates in traditional treatment group were just given traditional treatment. While neonates in mild hypothermia treatment group received head mild hypothermia therapy and their nasopharyngeal temperature were maintained at(34.0 ? 0.5) ℃ for 72 h.Before treatment and 72 h after treatment,2 mL blood was collected, and the serum NSE was determined by radio immunoassay. Results NSE levels in mild asphyxial neonates group[(34.83?6.17) ?g/L] and severe asphyxial group[(59.58?8.87) ?g/L] were significantly higher than that of control group[(30.57?4.88) ?g/L](t=3.07 P0.05).The level of NSE at 72 h in severe asphyxial neonates with head mild hypothermia therapy[(40.97?6.55) ?g/L] was significantly lower than that of traditional treatment group [(48.15?5.57) ?g/L](t=3.86 P

Resident doctor standardization training is the base of dermatologist training. We set up the specialist standardization training system according to our hospital's training practice. The dermatolo-gist standardization training mode was set up through tutor responsibility rule , internet learning platform and problem-based learning methods. The teaching level for dermatologists was upgraded by using above methods.

Chinese Journal of Nosocomiology 2009;0(18):-
OBJECTIVE To investigate the impact of disinfection quality in surgical dressing room on the healing of wound with dressing exchanges in order to implement procedures to prevent nosocomial infection. METHODS A retrospective investigation was performed and cases of poor surgical wound healing from Jan 2006 to Dec 2007 were collected and analised. Effective measures were taken to enhance the management and surveillance in the dressing room. RESULTS After taking the prevention procedure, the passing rate of disinfection was increased. Before implementing the prevention procedure the passing rates of air, surface and finger cultured were 83.3%,83.3% and 75.0%,respectively,After taking the prevention procedure the passing rates of above were all 100.0%.The rate of poor wound healing decreased from 4.16% to 1.59%. CONCLUSIONS The disinfection quality of dressing room has direct effects on the wound healing. The management of dressing room disinfection should be emphasized to cut down the nosocomial infections of wound.
