Objective To determine whether exposure to electromagnetic radiation results in behavioral effects of rat pups.Methods Wistar rats,either male or female,were divided randomly into four groups respectively:control(CTR),100 seconds(S1),1000 seconds(S10)and 3000 seconds(S30),then each of them were exposed to electromagnetic radiation of 100 kV/m field amplitude of corresponding time.For the day of exposure till 2 months later.they were mated with the rats in the same group and their offspring were divided into four groups(F-GTB,F-S1,F-S10,F-S30)correspondingly.Behavioral changes occur in 2-month old and 6-month old rat pups were found between radiation groups and control,and in Y-maze test,beth male and female pups in F-S10 significantly learned fewer times than their control(total study times:male 14.6±3.9 vs 21.1±7.8,female13.4±3.0 vs 25.8±8.8;false times:male 3.5±2.4 vs 7.8±5.4,female 3.4±2.6 vs 11.0±7.2).In open field test,both maze,male pups in F-S1 and F-S30 learned more times than control in total study time(24.2±8.9 vs 14.1±5.2.30.7±12.4 vs 14.1±5.2).In step throush test and open field test,no significant differences were found between radiation groups and control.Conclusion There was significant genetic effect exposed to electromagnetic radiation of 100 kV/m,mainly manifested in rat pups in growth period but without long-term effect.

Objective To explore the incidence, causes and management of peripheral vascular complications after cardiac catheterization Methods Cardiac catheter data and clinical data of 1?745 patients were reviewed Results One hundred and two patients (5 9%) had peripheral vascular complications, including local hematoma (77, 4 4%), pseudoaneurysm (4, 0 23%), arteriovenous fistula(2, 0 11%), femoral arterial thrombosis(2, 0 11%), femoral venous thrombosis (3, 0 17%), pulmonary thromboembolism (2, 0 11%), external hemorrhage(13, 0 74%) The mortality was 0 06% (1/1745), and the surgery repair rates 0 11% ( 2/1?745 ) Conclusion Peripheral vascular complications of cardiac catheterization is not so rare, and has a good prognosis after conservative management

Needling point Xingjian (LR 2 ) through Taichong (LR 3) was used as main therapy to treat 57 headache cases by syndromic differentiation, which was compared with the treatment of another 60 cases with conventional points. The curative rate was 100% and 91.7% separately in one of the two groups. There was a significant difference in curative effect (P ＜0.01 ). The effect of the point-through-point method was superior to that of the conventional point method.

Objective To explore the clinical curative effect of recombinant human endostatin injection combined with chemotherapy in the treatment of patients with advanced gastric cancer and malignant ascites,and its influence on the quality of life.Methods 62 patients with advanced gastric cancer from July 2012 to July 2015,were randomly divided into observation group (31 cases)and control group (31 cases).The control group was treated with FOLFOX6 chemotherapy,the observation group was given recombinant human endostatin injection on the basis of the treatment of the control group.The two groups were treated for 3 weeks.The curative effect,QOL score,Karnofsky score,the change of serum CEA and CA19 -9 levels and drug adverse reaction incidence before and after treatment were compared in the two groups.Results The RR of the observation group was higher than that of the control group (54.84 vs 29.03%,χ2 =4.239 3,P <0.05).The QOL score and Karnofsky score in the two groups were increased after treatment (P <0.05).The QOL score and Karnofsky score after treatment in the observation group were higher than the control group(t =6.512 7,5.669 0,all P <0.05).The serum CEA and CA19 -9 levels of the two groups decreased significantly after treatment (P <0.05).The serum CEA and CA19 -9 levels of the observation group were lower than the control group after treatment (t =5.276 0,6.310 8,all P <0.05).The leukopenia,thrombocytopenia, peripheral neurotoxicity,decreased hemoglobin,diarrhea,nausea and vomiting adverse reaction rate of the two groups had no significant differences (P >0.05).Conclusion The clinical efficacy of recombinant human endostatin injec-tion combined with malignant ascites in the treatment of patients with advanced gastric carcinoma is significant,and can significantly improve the quality of life of patients,has the important research value.

ObjectiveTo analyze the distribution and density of Langerhans cells and dermal CD68 positive histiocytes in lesions of secondary keloid.MethodsTissue specimens were resected from the lesions of 30 patients with secondary keloid and normal skin of 14 human controls.Immunohistochemistry was performed to observe the expressions of CD68 and CD1a in these specimens.A micrometer was used to count the number of positively stained cells per unit area.The Student's t test was conducted for data analysis by using the SPSS software.ResultsThe density of CD1a+ Langerhans cells was (61 ± 49) cells/mm2 in the epidermis of secondary keloid lesions, (258 ± 61 ) cells/mm2 in the control epidermis,and(40 ± 65) cells/mm2 in the dermis of keloid lesions.CD68+ cells were absent in the epidermis of keloid lesions.Significant differences were observed in the density of CD1a+ Langerhans cells between the lesional and normal control epidermis(t =9.88,P ＜ 0.001 ) and in the percentage of CD68+ cells in nucleated cells between the superficial dermis of lesions and control skin(62％ ± 12％ vs.70％ ± 14％,t =2.66,P ＜ 0.05).The density of dermal CD68+ histiocytes was similar between the lesions and control skin ((287 ± 73) cells/mm2 vs.(290 ± 22) cell/mm2,t =0.02,P ＞ 0.05).Conclusions In keloid lesions,Langerhans cells decrease in the epidermis but increase in the dermis,CD68+ histiocytes are absent in the epidermis,and reduced in the dermis with a declined percentage in nucleated cells.

OBJECTIVE:To study the compatible stability of puerarin injection with 10 commonly-used drugs.METHODS:The changes in appearance,pH,particulate and puerarin content after mixing with 10 drugs were observed and assayed.RESU_LTS & CONCLUSION:Puerarin injection mixing with adenosine triphosphate,coenzyme A and ribavirin showed significant change in pH,which indicats that they are incompatable each other,however,when puerarin injection was mixed with vitamin B6,potassium chloride,etamsylate,cimetidine,gentamycin,amikacin and erythromycin,no significant changes in pH,particulate and puerarin content were found,which indicates their compatibility.

Objective To investigate the promoter methylation status of SFRP1 and SFRP2 gene in gastric cardia adenocarcinoma (GCA). Methods Methylation specific PCR (MSP) method was used to examine the methylation status of the 5' CpG island of SFRP1 and SFRP2 gene in tumors and corresponding normal tissues. Results Methylation frequencies of SFRP1 and SFRP2 gene in tumor specimens were 87.2 % (82/94) and 83 %(78/94), which was significantly higher than that in corresponding normal tissues (14.9 % and 55.3 %, respectively) (P <0.001). Methylation frequencies of SFRP1 in lymph node metastasis group (96.4 %) was significantly higher than that in no lymph node metastasis group (73.7 %). Methylation frequencies of SFRP1 and SFRP2 gene in poor differentiation group were all higher than that in moderate and poor-moderate differentiation groups, but both of them did not show significant difference(P >0.05). 63 cases of GCA showed both of SFRP1 and SFRP2 gene simultaneous methylation, which including 36 cases of lymph node metastasis group, 27 cases of no lymph node metastasis group. Simultaneous methylation frequencies of SFRP1 and SFRP2 gene in lymph node metastasis group was higher than that in no lymph node metastasis group, poor differentiation group was higher than that in moderate and poor-moderate differentiation groups, but both of them did not show significant difference (P >0.05). Conclusion Promoter methylation of SFRP1 and SFRP2 might be related with oncogenesis of GCA and hypermethylation of SFRP1 gene might be related with the malignant behavior of GCA.

Objective To explore the mechanism and safety of miltidrug-resistance gene 1(MDR1)transfection into the bone marrow mononuclear cells of rabbit in vitro with the adenovirus vector promoted by ultrasonic microbubble.MethodsBone marrow mononuclear cells of rabbits were collected and divided into 5 groups after cultured in the 6-well plate according to the different experimental conditions(MDR1 gene was transferred into the cells with or without ultrasound irradiation and microbubbles)：conventional culture group (A)，Ad5-MDR1 group(B)，Ad5-MDR1+ultrasound irradiation group(C)，Ad5-MDR1+microbubbles group(D)，Ad5-MDR1+ultrasound irradiation+microbubbles group(E).The positive transfection rate of MDR1 gene in mononuclear cells of different groups were tested by flow cytometry,and the survival rate of cells in different periods were tested by trypan blue exclusion method.Moreover,the appearance and ultramicrostructure of cells were observed by electronmicroscope.Results①The transfection rate of MDR1 gene in different groups were 0.39%±0.11%，5.03%±0.35%，4.93%±0.38%，5.25%±0.80%and 19.93%±1.51%respectively.The transfection rate of MDR1 gene in group E was higher than those in other groups(P＜0.05).②Compared with those in control groups(group A，B，C and D)，the transfection rate in group E was significant raised by ultrasound irradiation and microbubbles.However,there were no significant difference in survival rate of cells between the five groups(P＞0.05).③After ultrasonic irradiation，there were transient holes on the cell membrane，which could disappear after irradiation by ultrasound for 24 hours.And the temporary swelling of organelles was reversible.Conclusions Microbubbles irradiated by ultrasound can cause small transient holes on eell membrane and increase permeability of it，and enhance the transfection of MDR1 gene in bone marrow mononuclear cells with the adenovirus vector，which is safe and available.

OBJECTIVETo study the changes in the expression of divalent metal transporter 1 (DMT1) and ferroportin 1 (FP1) in the substantia nigra (SN) of rats with manganese-induced parkinsonism.

METHODSEighty Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into four groups. Rats in the control group were injected intraperitoneally with saline solution. Rats in the low-dose, medium-dose, and high-dose groups were injected intraperitoneally with 5, 15, and 20 mg/kg MnC12 solution, respectively, for 16 weeks. Three behavioral tests were performed at the 16th week. The concentration of Mn2+ in the SN was determined by inductively coupled plasma-atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-AES), and the positive expression of tyrosine hydroxylase (TH) was measured by immunohistochemical staining to determine whether rats with manganese-induced parkinsonism were successfully produced. The expression of DMT1 and FP1 in SN was measured by immunohistochemical staining and fluorescent quantitative polymerase chain reaction.

RESULTSRats with manganese-induced parkinsonism were successfully produced using the above method. Compared with that in the control group, the concentrations of Mn2+ in the SN of rats exposed to 5, 15, and 20 mg/kg Mn2+ were significantly higher (1.72?0.33 vs 0.56 ± 0.20 µg/g, P<0.01; 2.92±0.77 vs 0.56±0.20 µg/g, P<0.01; 5.65±1.60 vs 0.56±0.20 µg/g, P<0.01). The mean ODs of TH-positive cells in the SN of rats exposed to 5, 15, and 20 mg/kg Mn+ were significantly lower than that in the control group (0.054±0.008 vs 0.109±0.019, P<0.01; 0.016±0.004 vs 0.109±0.019, P<0.01; 0.003±0.001 vs 0.109±0.019, P<0.01). Compared with that in the control group, the mean optical densities (ODs) of DMT1-positive cells in the SN of rats exposed to 15, and 20 mg/kg Mn2+ were significantly higher (0.062±0.004 vs 0.015±0.007, P<0.01; 0.116±0.064 vs 0.015±0.007, P<0.01). The mean ODs of FP1-positive cells in the SN of rats exposed to 5, 15, and 20 mg/kg Mn2+ were significantly lower than that in the control group (0.092±0.011 vs 0.306±0.081, P<0.01; 0.048±0.008 vs 0.306±0.081, P<0.01; 0.008±0.002 vs 0.306±0.081, P< 0.01). Rats exposed to 15 and 20 mg/kg Mn2+ had significantly higher expression of DMT1 mRNA in the SN than those in the control group (0.052±0.0126 vs 0.001±0.0004, P<0.05; 0.124±0.0299 vs 0.001±0.0004, P<0.05). However, rats exposed to 5, 15, and 20 mg/kg Mn2 had significantly lower expression of FP1 mRNA in the SN than those in the control group (0.059±0.0076 vs 0.162±0.0463, P<0.05; 0.033±0.0094 vs 0.162±0.0463, P< 0.05; 0.002±0.0007 vs 0.162±0.0463, P<0.05).

CONCLUSIONThe increased expression of DMT1 and reduced expression of FP1 may be involved in the processes of Mn2+ accumulation in the SN and dopaminergic neuron loss in rats with manganese-induced parkinsonism.
