1.Clinical Characteristics and Misdiagnosis Analysis of the Enosinophilic Gastroenteritis
Journal of Chinese Physician 2001;0(06):-
Objective To study clinical characteristics of the patients with enosinophilic gastroenteritis(EG) and analyze the cause of misdiagnosis. Methods 6 cases of EG were analyzed in clinical characteristics, laboratory tests and endoscopy. The clinical characteristics of EG and the possible cause of misdiagnosis were studied. Results ⑴EG have a various clinical manifestation. The mucosal type have the commonest symptoms, such as epigastric pain, diarrhea. The serosal type was presented with abdominal pain, bloating.and ascites, accompanied with nausea, vomiting and low fewer. The patients in the muscular type had bowel obstruction symptom.⑵Enosinophilic counts in peripheral and bone marrow had high level(43 5?20 5)%,and it was related with condition of illness.⑶ESR,CRP and FIB were in normal range, but the IgG was low level.⑷The ascites were effusion with eosinophilia.⑸Endoscopies showed erosion and edema in antrum, duodenum and cecum, accompanied with eosinophilia infiltration in mucosa.⑹The steroid hormone therapy responsion was sensitive and all symptoms were relieved and eosinophils was recovered to normal value within one week.⑺Though their symptom recurrence was probable, good prognosis was got. Conclusions The key point for diagnsos is eosinophilia counts in peripheral blood and ascites. The biopsy of the gastrointestinal tract mucosa is also very important and helpful.
3.Th17/Treg balance in inflammatory bowel disease
International Journal of Pediatrics 2017;44(1):55-58
Inflammatory bowel disease(IBD) is characterized by chronic non-specific inflammatory dis ease. The inflammation caused by abnormal immune response in intestinal mucosa exerts an important role in the pathogenesis of IBD.T helper 17 cells(Th17)are involved in the development of chronic inflammation and auto immune disease, whereas regulatory T cells can inhibit the function of autoimmune, and thus the balance of Th17/Treg balance plays an important role in intestinal homeostasis.Various strategies can be done to modulate Th17/Treg balance, such as antigen-presenting cells, microoganisms, some key molecules, natural compounds, proving a promising therapeutic method for IBD.
4.Functional and appearance improvement of a new modified neck dissection with cervical sensory nerve preservation in thyroid papillary carcinoma treatment
China Oncology 2016;26(12):1037-1040
Thyroid papillary carcinoma harbors higher rate of lymph node metastasis, so neck dissection is an important part of the treatment. Due to better prognosis, attention to postoperative function and appearance of the patients increased. Low-collar incision with cervical sensory nerve plexus preservation modiifed neck dissection can improve appearance and function in postoperative patients and is gradually applied in clinic. This review mainly examines the thoroughness and safety of this new neck dissection in thyroid papillary carcinoma patients.
5.Advances in the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease
International Journal of Pediatrics 2016;43(5):377-381
Inflammatory bowel disease is a chronic non-specific intestinal tract inflammation, currently, its etiology and pathogenesis are not clear. The current conventional treatments include salicylic acid drugs, steroids, immunosuppressive agents, biological agents and surgery, but the prognosis is still not very optimistic. In recent years, a variety of other treatment options have emerged, such as anti-cytokine antibody, anti-chemokine antibodies.Clinicians pay more attention to treatment of inflammatory bowel disease.
6.Effect of dexmedetomidine postconditioning combined with limb ischemic postconditioning on myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury in rats
Chinese Journal of Anesthesiology 2016;36(5):559-562
Objective To evaluate the effect of dexmedetomidine postconditioning combined with limb ischemic postconditioning on myocardial ischemia-reperfusion (I/R) injury in rats. Methods Fifty male Sprague-Dawley rats, aged 2-3 months, weighing 275-335 g,were randomly divided into 5 groups (n =10 each) using a random number table:sham operation group (group S);I/R group;dexmedetomidine postconditioning group (group DP);limb ischemic postconditioning group (group LP);dexmedetomidine postconditioning combined with limb ischemic postconditioning group (group DLP).Myocardial I/R was induced by occlusion of the left anterior descending branch of coronary artery for 30 min followed by 180 min reperfusion. At 15 min before reperfusion, dexmedetomidine 50 μg/kg was injected intraperitoneally in DP and DLP groups, while normal saline 0.5 ml was injected intraperitoneally in I/R and LP groups. In LP and DLP groups, the animals underwent 10 min ischemia of bilateral hind limbs starting from 10 min before reperfusion, followed by reperfusion.Blood samples were taken from the internal carotid artery at 180 min of reperfusion for determination of the plasma creatine kinase-MB (CK-MB) and glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px) activities and the concentrations of cardiac troponin I (cTnI),malondialdehyde (MDA),interleukin-1beta (IL-1β),IL-6 and tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α).Myocardial specimens were obtained at 180 min of reperfusion for determination of the myocardial infarct size. Results Compared with group S,the plasma CK-MB activity, myocardial infarct size and plasma cTnI,MDA,TNF-α,IL-1β and IL-6 concentrations were significantly increased, and GSH-Px activity was significantly decreased in I/R,DP,LP and DLP groups (P<0.05).Compared with group I/R,the plasma CK-MB activity, myocardial infarct size and plasma cTnI,MDA,TNF-α,IL-1β and IL-6 concentrations were significantly decreased, and the GSH-Px activity was significantly increased in DP,LP and DLP groups (P<0.05).Compared with DP and LP groups, the plasma CK-MB activity, myocardial infarct size and plasma cTnI,MDA,TNF-α,IL-1β and IL-6 concentrations were significantly decreased, and the GSH-Px activity was significantly increased in group DLP (P < 0.05).Conclusion Dexmedetomidine postconditioning combined with limb ischemic postconditioning provides better efficacy than either alone in reducing the myocardial I/R injury in rats, and the mechanism may be related to the inhibition of lipid peroxidation and systemic inflammatory responses.
7.Relationship among pyroptosis,inflammasome and tumor
Journal of International Oncology 2016;43(9):676-680
Pyroptosis is a new way of programmed cell death,a number of researches have found that it is associated with a variety of diseases.Inflammasome and caspase protein family play key roles in regulating pyroptosis.Intracellular pattern recognition receptor oligomers under external stimulus, then assemble with apop-totic speck-like protein containing a caspase recruitment domain and caspase precursor into inflammatory com-plex body, thus activation of caspase can induce pyroptosis. While as the upstream regulation mechanism of pyroptosis, inflammasome might be double edged swordfor tumor growth. On the one hand, inflammasome can inhibit the proliferation of tumor cells by inducing pyroptosis;on the other hand, the cumulative effect of the inflammsome can also form a suitable microenvironment for tumor cells and promote tumor growth.
8.The protective effect of hemodilution on the lung against ischemia-reperfusion injury
Chinese Journal of Anesthesiology 1994;0(01):-
C. Conclusion Adequate hemodilution can attenuate the lung injury induced by I/R. The protective effect is better if hemodilution is performed before I/R.
9.The relation of enterogenous endotoxin to the structural changes of various organs in hemorrhagic shock dogs
Chinese Journal of Pathophysiology 1989;0(06):-
We only prolongated the course of shock from 2h to 5h, without predi- sposing the dogs. At 5h after hemorrhagic shock, the experimental results were asfollows: The ultrastructural damages were not only detected in the lung but also in theheart, liver, intestine and kidney etc. Major pathological lesions were: swelling of paren-chymal cells in various organs, vacular degeneration, and de-connection of cells. The laterwas shown as disintegration of hepatocyte-conjunction and disappearance of microvilli. Theorganelles of various cells ruptured to different degrees, for example, mitochondria swelledand its crista dissolved, endoplasmic reticulum dilated and de-granulated. In addition, thefibril of cardiac muscle thinned and dissolved, the capillary endothelial tight-conjunctionsof lung and intestine ruptured etc. The quantity of entero-endotoxin in plasma increasedin accordance with prolongation of shock, and its quantity was most abundant in portalvein, the next was artery and the last was hepatic vein. All experimental results showedthat the entero-endotoxin was related to the changes of ultrastructure of various organs.
