1.Clinical Characteristics and Misdiagnosis Analysis of the Enosinophilic Gastroenteritis

Objective To study clinical characteristics of the patients with enosinophilic gastroenteritis(EG) and analyze the cause of misdiagnosis.Methods 6 cases of EG were analyzed in clinical characteristics,laboratory tests and endoscopy.The clinical characteristics of EG and the possible cause of misdiagnosis were studied.Results ⑴EG have a various clinical manifestation.The mucosal type have the commonest symptoms,such as epigastric pain,diarrhea.The serosal type was presented with abdominal pain,bloating.and ascites,accompanied with nausea,vomiting and low fewer.The patients in the muscular type had bowel obstruction symptom.⑵Enosinophilic counts in peripheral and bone marrow had high level(43 5?20 5)%,and it was related with condition of illness.⑶ESR,CRP and FIB were in normal range,but the IgG was low level.⑷The ascites were effusion with eosinophilia.⑸Endoscopies showed erosion and edema in antrum,duodenum and cecum,accompanied with eosinophilia infiltration in mucosa.⑹The steroid hormone therapy responsion was sensitive and all symptoms were relieved and eosinophils was recovered to normal value within one week.⑺Though their symptom recurrence was probable,good prognosis was got.Conclusions The key point for diagnsos is eosinophilia counts in peripheral blood and ascites.The biopsy of the gastrointestinal tract mucosa is also very important and helpful.

The risk factors of traffic crash include drinking/drunk drive, accident proneness, fatigue driving, speeding, and poor vehicle quality. This article introduces the protection, emergency treatment, and basic scientific research of road traffic injury (RTI). As a public health issue, RTI is preventable, and personal factor is a key problem. It is important to establish an accurate and comprehensive RTI database, which may provide necessary information for the epidemiological research and crash prevention. The author also gives some suggestions on road traffic safety development in our country.

6.Matrix Metallopotreinase-9,S100B Protein and Intracerebral Hemorrhage

Matrix metalloproteinase (MMP)-9 is closely correlated with the pathophysiological processes of cerebral edema,inflammatory reaction and apoptosis after intracerebral hemorrhage.As a specific brain-derived protein,the different levels of S100B may present different physiological and pathological effects.Its concentration can reflect the degree of central nervous system damage.This article reviews the action mechanisms of MMP-9 and S100B in intracerebrai hemorrhage.
7.Quantitative Analysis of Total Flavonoids and Icariin in"Xianlinggubao Capsule"

Icariin and total flavonoids in "Xianlinggubao Capsule", a Chinese herbal preparationcontaining Epimedium L. as the main ingredient for the treatment of osteoporosis, were determined quan-titatively by HPLC and UV spectrophotometry respectively. It was found that the contents of icariin were4.16~27.67 mg/g and that of flavonoids were 62. 56~109.78 mg/g. The recoveries were 96.17% and103.58% respectively. The method could be used for the quality control of the drug.
8.Advances in the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease

Inflammatory bowel disease is a chronic non-specific intestinal tract inflammation,currently,its etiology and pathogenesis are not clear.The current conventional treatments include salicylic acid drugs, steroids, immunosuppressive agents, biological agents and surgery, but the prognosis is still not very optimistic.In recent years, a variety of other treatment options have emerged, such as anti-cytokine antibody, anti-chemokine antibodies.Clinicians pay more attention to treatment of inflammatory bowel disease.
9.Effectiveness of mineralized gelatin electrostatic spinning on inducing periodontal tissue osteogenesis

BACKGROUND:Currently, little is reported regarding the effectiveness of mineralized gelatin electrostatic spinning fibers on periodontal tissue osteogenic induction. OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effect of mineralized gelatin electrostatic spinning on the proliferation and osteogenic differentiation of periodontal ligament fibroblasts. METHODS: Human periodontal ligament fibroblasts were respectively compositely cultured with non-mineralized gelatin electrostatic spinning, gelatin electrostatic spinning after 1 day of nano-hydroxyapatite mineralization and gelatin electrostatic spinning after 5 days of nano-hydroxyapatite mineralization. Cel proliferation was determined at 1, 4, 7, 10 and 13 days of culture using MTT assay. Alkaline phosphatase activity of cels was determined at 1, 7, 14 days of culture using biochemical analyzer. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:At the 10th day of culture, the periodontal ligament cels on the surface of membrane distributed uniformly, grew wel, spread out as sheets and secreted a large amount of extracelular matrix, linked closely with the materialsl; moreover, the effect was more obvious at 5 days of mineralization. Cel growth density and status were better than those in the non-mineralized gelatin electrostatic spinning membrane group. Cel proliferation and alkaline phosphatase activities at different time points: 5-day mineralized gelatin electrostatic spinning membrane group > 1-day mineralized gelatin electrostatic spinning membrane group > non-mineralized gelatin electrostatic spinning fibers group (alP < 0.05). These results demonstrate that the gelatin electrostatic spinning after nano-hydroxyapatite mineralization may promote the proliferation and osteogenic differentiation of periodontal ligament fibroblasts in a time-dependent manner.
10.Research Progress on Multiple Origins Theory of Epithelial Ovarian Carcinoma

[Summary] Epithelial ovarian carcinoma has the highest fatality rate among gynecologic malignant tumors.Lacking of effective early diagnosis and screening method are the main reasons for its poor prognosis.There is a close relationship between the heterogeneity of epithelial ovarian carcinoma and the diversity of cancerous origins.According to the traditional theory, epithelial ovarian carcinoma derives from germinal epithelium at ovarian surface.The “secondary Mullerian system” theory has challenged above view.This“dualism” theory completely subverts the traditional one.However, both of the theories have their limitations.In recent years, the multiple origins theory of epithelial ovarian carcinoma has gradually become a hot point of discussion.
