Journal of Chongqing Medical University 2003;0(06):-
Objectives:To investigate the effect and mechanism of adventitia applied slow-releasing triptolide on proliferation and apoptosis of VSMCs of the autologous vein graft. Methods:Twenty-four healthy rabbits were made external jugular vein to common carotid artery models and then were divided into 3 equal groups at random:Blank-control group received no management on adventitia of the vein graft;F-127 pluronic gel control group received local application of 0.5 ml 20% F-127 pluronic gel containing 0.1ml DMSO on adventitia;and experimental group received local application of 0.5 ml F-127 pluronic gel containing triptolide 300?g on adventitia. Vein graft samples were harvested at 2 weeks after the operation. Histomorphologic methods were used to detect the degree of intima hyperplasia of the samples. The expressions of proliferating cell nuclear antigen(PCNA) and bcl-2 of the samples were detected by immunohistochemistry. The apoptosis of vascular smooth muscle cells(VSMC) was detected by TUNEL. Results:Two weeks after vein grafting, compared with blank-control group and F-127 control group, intima hyperplasia was markedly inhibited by applying triptolide 300?g on adventitia(P

3.International research status of medical tourism and its implications for China
Chinese Journal of Health Policy 2014;(11):59-63
Drawing on recently published foreign literature, this paper comprehensively analyses the research status of medical tourism from the concept of decision-making factors and risks for tourists, as well as the impacts of medical tourism. For future research, it proposes a greater focus on medical tourists, caregiver-companions and medi-cal tourism facilitators. To promote the development of Chinese medical tourism, a development model must be con-structed, international medical services, consummate policies, and regulations must be in place, and medical tourism personnel must be trained and welcomed.
4.Setting environment variable to update Oracle client's character set
Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 2003;0(12):-
Objective To prevent data transfer or loss in application development when dealing with data exchange between Oracle database with different server's character set. Methods Environment variable is set to update Oracle client's character set so as to solve data transfer or loss caused by character set transformation. Results It was the environment variable not the register list that was reset,so Oracle databases with different server's character set were not connected at the same time. Conclusion An adaptive method for different server's character set is given to solve this problem.
5.Optimization study on field medical equipment allocation
Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 1989;0(02):-
Network theory is applied to the optimization study on field medical equipment allocation with patient flow and its rate in wartime analyzed. With the application of queuing theory and linear programming, different optimized combinations of evacuation tools are studied, and then static model and dynamic model are established. A calculating table on queue length, service intensity and service desk is put forward to realize rapid evaluation of quantities of required field medical equipment for PLA. Some suggestions are provided to modify the current standard of PLA's basic medical equipment.
6.INFLUENCE OF DIETARY RESTRICTION ON THE EXPRESSION OF INSULIN SIGNALING GENES IN MOUSE EPIDIDYMIS FAT PAD
Acta Nutrimenta Sinica 1956;0(04):-
Objective:To study the influence of dietary restriction on the expression of insulin signaling pathway genes in mouse adipose tissue. Method:Twenty four C57BL/6 male mice of 2 w age were subjected to either AL (ad libitum) or DR (dietary restriction, 40% from AL) randomly until sacrificed. Then the epididymis fat pads were weighed, and their insulin signaling gene expression was detected by Oligo Insulin Signaling Pathway Microarray (SuperArray), and two of the differentially expressed genes, NPY and AKT3 were validated by Real Time PCR. Results:Dietary restriction significantly reduced the weight of epididymis fat pads and 31 (20 up, 11 down regulation) of 96 insulin signaling pathway genes were differentially expressed. The results of Microarray coincided with that of Real Time PCR. Conclusion:The differential regulation on the expressions of insulin signaling pathway gene may be the important molecular basis of dietary restriction.
7.Exploration on the pattern of pre-hospital and in-hospital first aid of craniocerebral injury
Chinese Journal of Trauma 1991;0(02):-
Objective To discuss the pattern of pre-hospital and in-hospital first aid of craniocerebral injury. Methods A retrospective study was carried out on 4 311 cases with craniocerebral injuries, who were directly sent into the emergency room of the department of neurosurgery, classified and cured by special doctors according to corresponding procedures. Results A total of 2 992 mildly and mediumly injured cases were cured. In 1 319 severely injured cases, 164 died within 24 hours and the other 1 155 were evaluated by GOS, showing that 750 got good recovery plus moderate disability (64.94%), 132 resulted in severe disability (11.43%), 44 in vegetation (3.81%) and 229 died (19.83%). The total fatality rate was 29.80%. Conclusions It is beneficial to cure of the severe craniocerebral injury by utilizing the following ways, ie, pre-hospital care, immediate sending into the wards, special diagnosis according to first aid procedures, operation and ICU.
8.Role of SCN1A gene variations in the development of familial febrile seizures
Journal of Clinical Pediatrics 2017;35(2):133-137
Objective To determine the role of SCN1A gene variation in the development of familial febrile seizures (FS).Methods Clinical data were collected from 8 familial FS pedigrees, and peripheral venous blood samples were collected from the probands and other available family members. All 26 coding exons and exon-intron boundaries at least 50 bases of the human SCN1A gene were amplifled by polymerase chain reaction, the products were subsequently sequenced. To novo variation, other family members were screened for the corresponding exons. Two hundred age-matched healthy children were served as normal controls. ResultsA total of 33 variations in the SCN1A gene were identifled in these families. Of these variations, one was a missense mutation; the remaining 32 variations were previously submitted as single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs). A c.2650G>A heterozygous missense mutation in exon 15 of the SCN1A gene found in the proband of family 4 was inherited from his father who had seizures with fever in early childhood. The c.2650G>A mutation was absent in the 400 alleles of normal controls. To the best of our knowledge, the SCN1A c.2650G>A mutation has neither been reported in the NCBI SNP database nor in the literature to date. The c.2650G>A mutation changes a glycine at amino acid 884 in the SCN1A protein to a serine (p.Gly884Ser). Protein sequence analysis showed that the p.Gly884Ser is located at a highly conserved region between the 4th and 5th transmembrane segment of the homologous domain Ⅱ of voltage-gated sodium channel 1 subunit (DIIS4-S5). ConclusionsThe pathogenesis of familial febrile seizures was related to the SCN1A variation, the mutation outside the region of the voltage sensor (S4) and ion channel pore (S5-S6) of the voltage gated sodium channelα-subunit may be an important factor to cause mild phenotype epilepsy syndrome.
