Coronary heart disease and depression have a close relationship.Depression is common in patients with coronary artery disease and its presence is a strong independent risk factor for the development and adverse prognosis of coronary heart disease.The present review has summarized current knowledge of depression in patients with coronary artery disease regarding epidemiology,pathophysiologic pathways and treatment.

Objective To establish a method for the determination of content in Sinomenine Hydrochloride external applied powder. Methods Diamonsil ODS C_(18) (250 mm ? 4.6 mm, 5 ?m) column was used in HPLC with mobile phase of phosphate buffer (0.01 mol/L K_2HPO_4 solution, and 1%0 triethylamine, pH was adjusted to 3.0)-MeOH (80 : 20). The flow rate was 1.0 mL/min and the detection wavelength was 265 rim. Results The linear range of Sinomenine Hydrochloride was 0.446～4.46 ?g and the regression equation was Y=9.01 ? 10~6X+102803 (r=0.9999). The average recovery was 99.2%, RSD=0.68% (n =9). Conclusion This method is rapid and accurate with good reproducibility. It can be applied to control the quality of Sinomenine Hydrochloride external applied powder.

Objective To construct a recombinant lentiviral expression vector containing NIS and EGFP gene,and to explore the feasibility of NIS gene for monitoring the bone marrow derived mesenchymal stem cells (BMSCs) migration to the intracranial glioma.Methods The NIS and EGFP gene fragments were subcloned into lentiviral vector pLVX-puro,then packaged and amplified in HEK293T cells to obtain recombinant lentivirus pLVX-CMV-NIS-EGFP.pLVX-CMV-0-EGFP was constructed as control.BMSCs were isolated,cultured,and transfected by lentivirus.The antibiotic-resistant transfected BMSCs (BMSCs-NIS-EGFP and BMSCs-EGFP) were selected.The expression of NIS gene was examined by Western blot.Functional NIS activity was confirmed by the uptake of 125I and the inhibition effect of NaClO4.The nude mice intracranial glioma models were established.MicroSPECT was performed at 24 h post BMSCs-NIS-EGFP injection via the tail vein.Results pLVX-CMV-NIS-EGFP and pLVX-CMV-0-EGFP were successfully constructed and packaged.BMSCs were successfully isolated and cultured.Stable cell lines BMSCs-NIS-EGFP and BMSCs-EGFP were constructed after lentivirus transfection and puromycin selection.The expression of NIS gene was detected by Western blot in BMSCs-NIS-EGFP,but not in BMSCs-EGFP.BMSCs-NIS-EGFP showed significantly more uptake of 125I (nearly 10 times than the uptake in BMSCs-EGFP) and the uptake could be significantly inhibited by NaClO4.The nude mice intracranial glioma models were successfully established and the BMSCs-NIS-EGFP in glioma foci could be visualized by microSPECT imaging at 24 h post injection.Conclusions A recombinant lentivirus containing NIS gene could be successfully constructed for monitoring BMSCs migration towards intracranial glioma.It might provide evidence on the research of BMSCs and NIS gene mediated therapy for glioma.

Objective To investigate the relation between brain natriuretic peptide (BNP) rs198388 polymorphism and the susceptibility of essential hypertension in Han population of Hunan. Methods A total of 567 patients with hypertension (the hypertension group) and 555 healthy volunteers (the control group) were enrolled. Gender, age, smoking and drinking history of the 2 groups were not significantly different. Blood pressure was measured in the 2 groups. After fasting for 12 h or more, blood glucose, total cholesterol, triglycerides, high density lipoprotein cholesterol and low density lipoprotein cholesterol were measured. DNA polymorphism analysis was done by polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism method, and genotype was determined by agarose gel electrophoresis. Results The GG, GA, and AA genotypeswere detected.The frequencies of GA and AA genotypes and A allele were significantly lower in the hypertension group (GA and AA:12.3%;A:6.9%) than those in the control group (GA and AA:18.4%; A:9.7%; P=0.009, and P=0.014, respectively). Conclusion BNP rs198388 polymorphism may be associated with essential hypertension in Han people in Hunan. Carrying rs198388 GA and AA genotypes and A allele may be the reason for low risk of hypertension.

Objective To explore the relationship between relocation satisfaction and psychosocial stress of transitional peri-od immigrants in the south-to-north water diversion project .Methods Stratified multi-stage cluster sampling method was used in this study ,a basic questionnaire and Psychosocial Stress Survey for Groups(PSSG) were used to investigate transitional period im-migrants who moved to Xingyang and Baofeng from Zhechuan holding different subjective feelings of migration .Results (1) Ex-cept that the evaluation of the implementation of immigration policy existed significant differences(P< 0 .05) between the two are-as ,other evaluations didn′t exist significant differences .(2) There were significant differences (P< 0 .05) in negative emotions ,pos-itive emotions ,negative coping style ,total psychological stress score between the three groups about the different evaluations of new life satisfaction ,new residence satisfaction and overall relocation satisfaction in new residence .Other evaluations didn′t exist signifi-cant differences in psychological stress .(3) Decision tree indicated that the key factors from strong to weak which influence psycho-social stress were new residence satisfaction ,new life satisfaction and overall relocation satisfaction .Conclusion The overall level of psychological stress in immigration is more intense than reference ,which positive and negative nature of evaluation has a direct link with it .

Objective One typical case with stress cardiomyopathy was reported and the current knowledge of the syndrome was reviewed to improve relevant knowledge.Methods A 71-year-old female patient presented dyspnea and chest pain due to emotional stress.ECG,echocardiography,selective coronary artery angiography,left ventriculography,~(99)Tc~m-MIBI single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT),~(18)F-FDG SPECT and MRI were performed.Results Electrocardiogram at admission showed ST segment elevation and T wave inversion in leads V1—V4.Pathological Q wave occurred 1 week later,it disappeared 1 month later however and severe T wave inversion occurred.Normal or slightly elevated cardiac enzymes in the blood were found during the course.Left ventriculogram at admission showed left ventricular apical ballooning with LVEF of 30%.The ballooning volume was about 3/4 of left ventricular volume, without any corresponding coronary artery diseases found in coronary angiogram.The abnormal apical ballooning decreased significantly in the follow-up left ventriculogram performed one month later.The LVEF rose up to 63.6%.~(99)Tc~m-MIBI and ~(18)F-FDG SPECT showed mismatch of perfusion and metabolism in the corresponding region,indicating presence of viable myocardium.MRI showed left ventricular apical ballooning without perfusion defect and late enhancement,indicating viability of corresponding myocardium. Conclusions Emotional stress can cause transient left ventricular apical ballooning called"stress cardiomyopathy".Either ~(99)Tc~m-MIBI SPECT associated with ~(18)F-FDG SPECT or delayed enhancement MRI plays an important role in identification of myocardial viability,which can efficiently guide clinical treatment.

Objective To investigate the consistency of omnidirectional M-mode echocardiography and two-dimensional strain in assessment of left ventricular (LV) radial systolic asynchrony. Methods Thirty patients with heart failure (HF) and 28 healthy volunteers underwent omnidirectional M-mode echocardiography and two-dimensional strain at the same time. The time to peak radial systolic movement (T_m) of LV in 12 segments were measured with omnidirectional M-mode echocardiography and its standard deviation (T_m-12-sd), and the maximum difference (T_m-12-dif) were calculated. The time to peak radial systolic strain (T_(SR)) of LV in 12 segments were measured with two-dimensional strain and its standard deviation (T_(SR)-12-sd), and the maximum difference (T_(SR)-12-dif) were calculated. The T_m-12-sd, T_m-12-dif, T_(SR)-12-sd and T_(SR)-12-dif were used as systolic asynchrony indicators. The value (-x)±2s in the control group was defined as the normal upper limit which represents 97.7% of the control group distribution. Any values above this limit in HF patients were classified as LV asynchrony. The results of two methods were analyzed with Kappa test. Results Compared with the controls, T_m-12-sd, T_m-12-dif, T_(SR)-12-sd and T_(SR)-12-dif were significantly higher in the HF group (P<0.001); there was consistency between T_m-12-sd and T_(SR)-12-sd, T_m-12-dif and T_(SR)-12-dif in detecting LV systolic asynchrony in HF group (Kappa=0.661, 0.733). Conclusion T_m-12-sd and T_m-12-dif of omnidirectional M-mode echocardiography have consistency with T_(SR)-12-sd and T_(SR)-12-dif of two-dimensional strain. These two technologies both have ability to evaluate LV radial systolic synchronicity.

Objective To explore the change of function and expression of hematopoietic lineage cell specific protein-1 (HS1) and phosphorylated HS1 (p-HIS) and factors devoting to HS1 phosphorylation in platelet with sepsis.Methods Plasma with rich platelet was collected from 150 sepsis patients and 50 healthy subjects, and comparison of platelets adhesion and aggregation were detected by micro-pore method and platelet aggregation instrument.Meanwhile the ATP concentrations of washed platelet of two groups were detected by the kit to compare release reaction.And then total HS1 (t-HIS) and p-HS1 of platelet from two groups were compared by using western blot.Afterwards the specific inhibitors of Src and Syk were used to verify the HS1 activation regulated by Src and Syk in LPS-induced cell model.Results The significant differences were present between healthy subjects and sepsis patients in platelet counts, platelet distribution width (PDW) and mean platelet volume (MPV) (P ＜ 0.01).The data showed the sepsis patients had greater ability than healthy subjects in adhesion, aggregation and release reaction.Meanwhile the platelets of sepsis patients had higher concentration of t-HS1 and p-HS1 than healthy subjects, and the specific inhibitors of Src and Syk , PP2 and piceatannol, inhibited the increase in p-HS1 in LPS-induced cell model.Conclusions Function of platelet is closely related to HS1 in sepsis and it will be a target for sepsis therapy.
