Objective To investigate the role of CD35 on erythrocytes played in antigen activating immunological reaction of lymphocytes. Methods Suspensions of lymphocytes(1?10~6/ml)and erythrocytes (1?10~8/ml) were respectively separated from anticoaguted whole blood of healthy adults with the lymphocyte separation medium. Using inactivated ascites carcinoma cell S180(1?10~6/ml) as activation antigen and autologous plasma as reactive medium, the role of erythrocytes in regulating the anti-neoplasm immunological reaction of lymphocytes was appraised. The expression of CD25 on lymphocytes was detected and compared using flow cytometry assay with CD35 on erythrocytes blocked by monoclonal antibody or complements in plasma were destroyed by EDTA. Objective To study the changes in the expressions of CXCR4 of leucocytes as modulated by erythrocytes from cord blood. Methods 0.2ml suspension of whole blood cells (or 0.2ml suspension of leucocytes) was added to 0.3ml of auto plasma, and 0.2ml suspension of S180 (5?10~6/ml) was added as stimuli. The suspension was incubated at 37 ℃ for 1 hour. Normal saline instead of S180 was used as control The expression changes in CD35 on erythrocytes and CXCR4 on leucocytes were determined with flow cytometry assay. The data could be grouped under four heads: (1) cancer cells 0.2ml were added to whole blood cells 0.2ml and plasma 0.3ml; (2) NS 0.2ml were added to whole blood cells 0.2ml and plasma 0.3ml; (3) cancer cells 0.2ml were added to white blood cells 0.2ml and plasma 0.3ml; (4) NS 0.2ml were added to white blood cells and plasma 0.3ml. Results When activated by S180, the expression of CD35 on cord erythrocytes was decline not so low as that of adult′; while the expression of CXCR4 on cord leucocytes was increased not so high as that of adults′. Objective To investigate the correlation between the expression of peripheral blood CD8 + T lymphocytes and the severity degree of hand,foot and mouth disease( HFMD)in children infected by enterovirus( EV)71 at different ages,and further to predict the role of the expression of CD8+ T lympho-cytes played in the occurrence of neurological complications infected by EV71. Methods A total of 138 pe-ripheral blood samples derived from the confirmed HFMD cases were collected in the department of infectious disease at Kunming Children′s Hospital between March and September in 2014,including 33 mild cases,45 severe cases,and 60 critical cases. Patient ages were 9 months to 5 years old. Flow cytometry was used to detect the expression of peripheral blood CD8 + T lymphocytes in all of above patients. Results Compared to the reference value of CD8 + T lymphocytes in normal healthy children at different age groups,the percentage of peripheral blood CD8 + T lymphocytes elevated or increased slightly in patients of all ages,except the obvi-ously increasing expression in the age group of ~2 years and decreasing expression in critical cases of the age group of ~5 years. The expression of peripheral blood CD8+ T lymphocytes significantly increased in mild and severe patients but slightly increased in critical patients of the age group of 9 to 15 months,gradually de-creased in the age group of ~2 years and slightly increased in mild and severe cases but decreased in critical patients of the age group of ~5 years. There were significant differences between the patients in mild condi-tion and in severe condition or critical condition respectively within the age group of ~2 years( P﹤0. 05 ), and there were no significant differences in other age groups between different severity of disease. Conclusion
There are correlations between the expression of CD8+ T cells and the severity of HFMD in patients at different ages. Especially,the patient′s condition developing into severe degree is associated with the rapid decreasing of CD8 + T cells in HFMD patients of the age group of ~2 years. CD8+T cells play an important role in antiviral immune response in HFMD patients of ~2 years old.

BACKGROUND:Hydroxyapatite/gel nano-composite has the same mechanical strength to the natural bone, but its ability to repair bone defects and osteogenic effect need to be confirmed by further studies.
OBJECTIVE:To explore the repair effect of hydroxyapatite/gel bionic composite in skul defects of rabbits.
METHODS: The hole-like calvarium defect models were established in rabbits, and treated with hydroxyapatite/ gel composites (hydroxyapatite/gel group), autologous skul as positive control (autologous bone group) and
nothing as negative control (blank group). The repairing condition in the skul defect areas were observed and analyzed by X-ray and CT at 4, 8, 12 weeks after implantation.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: After 8 weeks, X-ray assessment showed that normal-like bone tissue appeared in the defect region of the autologous bone group; in the hydroxyapatite/gel group, dense bone with similar
morphology to normal bone tissue was found in the central site of defect region, and the boundary was slightly blurred. After 12 weeks, the hydroxyapatite/gel showed blurred edge compared with autologous bone, and the center of the composite was disconnected; in the blank group, a clear and regular transmitted shadow was
observed. After 12 weeks, CT examination showed that the hydroxyapatite/gel was connected tightly with the surrounding normal bone tissue. As a new bionic composite, the hydroxyapatite/gel can achieve good effect in repairing skul defects of rabbits.

BACKGROUND: Nano-hydroxyapatite has been widely used as reconstructive and prosthetic material for osseous tissue, owing to its excellent biocompatibility and bioactivity. But, its brittleness is one of the most serious obstacles for its wider applications as load-bearing implants. Therefore, hydroxyapatite/chitosan composites have been widely studied as bone substitute, due to their excellent biocompatibUity and suitable mechanical properties.OBJECTIVE: To review various preparation methods of hydroxya patite/chitosan composites and the development trend in this field.METHODS: Articles were searched in Medline Database (1995-01/2009-03), VIP Database (1995-01/2009-03) and "qinghuatongfang" Database (1995-01/2009-03) with the keywords of "nano-hydroxyapatite, chitosan, preparation, development trend".RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: Total 2 034 related articles were collected, including 1 634 in Chinese and 670 in English. Following excluding earilier published, duplicate, and similar studies, we brought into 37 sub-standard literatures. Hydroxyapatite/chitosan composite in nanometer size, with similar structure as natural bone, has better biological function compared with corresponding micrometer composite. Simultaneously, optimized material composition, structure and technology will obtain more suitable bone substitute in mechanical property compared with natural bone. This paper reviews preparation methods at home and abroad in recent years, with the rapid development of biological materials, hydroxyapatite compositematerials have been wisely used in bone tissue repair and replacement surgery, but its poor mechanical properties limits its clinical application.

This paper discussed anti blood group antibody and red blood cell innate immunological function changes in gravidas with various blood groups. The 1∶64 positive rate of anti blood group antibody and innate immunological adhesive ratio of CR1 on red blood cell of gravida were assayed.
