Objective To observe the characteristics of images of fundus fluorescein angiography (FFA) and indocyanine green angiography (ICGA) in patients with acute retinal necrosis syndrome (ARNS), and investigate the applied value of FFA and ICGA in clinical diagnosis. Method The data of the ocular fundus, FFA and ICGA of 20 patients (28 eyes) with ARNS were retrospectively analyzed. Results The images of FFA indicated hyperfluorescence of optic disc in 24 eyes (85.71%) at the late phase; widespread retinal vascular occlusion at the peripheral focus in 23 eyes (82.14%) with some occlusive vascular shadow and the fluorescein in some white-line-like blood vessels; fluorescent leakage at the junction of normal and abnormal retina in 22 eyes (78.57%); retinal detachment in 20 eyes (71 42%), including 9 with retinal hole (45% of the patients retinal detachment); and macular cystoid edema in 8 eyes (28 57%). The images of ICGA showed hyperfluorescence of optic disc in 8 eyes (28 57%) including 5 with dotted staining at the optic disc at the late phase; unclear choroidal vasculature in the peripheral focus in 20 eyes (71.42%); and choriodal scattered hypofluorescent patch at the focus area in 19 eyes (67.85%). At the late phase of ICGA, some intravascular emboli and segments of retinal vascular occlusion were clearly demonstrated. Conclusion The main manifestations of patients with ARNS in the images of FFA were hyperfluorescence of optic disc and retinal vascular occlusion; and unclear choroidal vessels and scattered hypofluorescent patch at the focus area.Combination of FFA and ICGA is helpful to understand the extent of the lesions and the relations between choroids and retina, which has great significance in diagnosing ARNS.

OBJECTIVE:To compare between the HPLC method and gravimetric analysis in the determination of the content of sodium new Houttuyfonte injection.METHODS:The content of sodium new Houttuyfonte injection was determined by HPLC and gravimetric analysis respectively.HPLC condition: Zorba extent-C18 column(250 mm?4.6 mm,5 ?m) detected by UV(286 nm),and the mobile phase consisted of methanol-water-tetrabutyl ammonium hydroxide(70:30:0.3).The procedure of gravimetric analysis was in line with state drug standard.RESULTS: The determination results were notably different between the two methods.CONCLUSION:Gravimetric analysis showed no specificity in the determination of sodium new Houttuyfonte injection.

Objective To explore the regulatory effect of apigenin on the blood pressure of the spontaneous hypertension rat(SHR) rats and the possible mechanism.Methods The case groups of rats were fed with different dosage of apigenin(0.03,0.05,0.11 g/kg) by gavage for 4 consecutive weeks,while the control groups were treated with equal cubage of oil.The body weight,heart rate,blood pressure were measured every week.Results After 4 weeks of treatment with apigenin,the blood pressure of SHR in all doses groups decreased significantly;besides,apigenin could reduce the content of ET-1 and AngII,however,it didn't change NOS activity.Conclusion Apigenin has a regulatory effect on blood pressure,its lowest effective dose is 0.03 g/kg bw and it may decrease the blood pressure through reducing the content of ET-1 and AngII,not through the NO/NOS pathway.

Objective To investigate the effect of psychological abuse in childhood on the personality of undergraduates with depression as well as its possible mechanism, and thus provide scientific evidence for the intervention of depression in undergraduates. Methods Particinants were 733 undergraduates from a university in Henan Province. They were surveyed with Center for Epidemiological Studies-Depression scale (CES-D), childhood experience of care and abuse questionnaire (CECA. Q) and Eysenck personality theory (EPQ). Results the correlation between maternal antipathy and introversion-extroversion of personality;psychological abuse in childhood had apparently positive correlation with the depression in undergraduates (r = 0. 257, r = 0. 304, r =0. 243, P＜ 0. 01) and that of childhood maternal neglect to psychoticism (β = 0.206, P＜ 0.01) were positive and significant. The standard regression coefficients of paternal neglect to introversion-extroversion (β= -0. 143, P＜0. 01)were negative and significant . The scores of childhood paternal antipathy and maternal antipathy explained that childhood paternal antipathy had indirect effect via adulthood neuroticism on the depression in undergraduates,furthermore, the indirect effect demonstrated 59.8% of the total effect. Conclusion This study suggests that the personality of undergraduates with depression is affected directly by psychological abuse in childhood, and adulthood personality may mediate the relation between childhood psychological abuse and adulthood depression.

Objective To investigate the levels of 14 kinds of food allergic specific IgG antibody in eczema and chronic urticaria patients'serum and the role of food allergens in allergic skin diseases and provide scientific basis for clinical treatment and prophylaxis. Methods We used ELISA method to detect the concentration of 14 kinds of food allergic specific IgG antibody in the serum of 900 eczema and chronic urticaria patients and 18 healthy people. Results The food allergen of positive rate in studied group and control group was 90.2% and 11.1%. The positive rate of 14 kinds of food allergic specific IgG antibody in 900 eczema and chronic urticaria patients' serum from high to low was eggs, wheat, shrimp, milk, soja,crab, rice, corn, tomato, chicken, mushroom, beef, pork and ling. The food allergen positive rate in eczema and chronic urticaria patients'serum was 91.9% and 88. 9% ( P >0. 05). The positive rate of shrimp,mushroom and ling in eczema patients'serum was higher than that in chronic urticaria patients'serum ( P <0. 05 ). The positive rate in children's group was 96. 6%, which was higher than other age groups ( P >0. 05 ). The main allergens were egg, wheat and milk in children's group. The sensitization of crab and shrimp increased as people grew up. In 812 positive patients, who were intolerant of three and more than three foods accounted for 53.7%. In 175 follow-up patients, the effective rate was 50.9% in 20 days and 61.1% in 60 days after they avoided the intolerant food. The patients'diet was adjusted according to the test results.In 325 follow-up patients, the effective rate in eczema group was 59.9% in 20 days and 70. 4% in 60 days ( P <0. 05). Thee effective rate in chronic urticaria group was 65.6% in 20 days and 77. 3% in 60 days ( P <0.05 ). Conclusion The intolerant food can be found by detecting serum food allergen specific IgG.It can be used to adjust the diet and relieve the symptom, which is of great importance for preventing and treating allergic skin diseases.

Objective: To determine the rate of lymph node metastases in women with endometrial carci-noma and to compare the pattern of lymphatic spread of endometrial carcinoma with that of cervical carcino-ma. Methods: We retrospectively analyzed the lymphatic spread in 104 patients with endometrial carcinoma and 253 patients with cervical carcinoma. All of the patients underwent a complete pelvic and para-aortic lymphadenectomy from caudal to the median circumflex to the level of renal vessels. Results: The incidence of lymphatic metastases in the endometrial carcinoma group was higher than that in the cervical carcinoma group (22.1% vs 16.2 %). The pathologic grade (G_1: 12.1%; G_2: 21.4%; G_3: 34.5%) and depth of myometrial in-vasion (≤1/2: 11.9%; >1/2: 29%) were correlated with lymph node metastasis. The rates of para-aortic node involvement, pelvic lymph node involvement and involvement of both were 4.3%, 34.8% and 60.9% in the en-dometrial carcinoma group and 0%, 68.3% and 31.7% in the cervical carcinoma group. The rates of obturator node involvement were 73.9% and 70.7%, respectively; the rates of suprainguinal node involvement were 8.7% and 7.3%, respectively. Compared with cervical carcinoma, endometrial carcinoma showed higher rate of para-aortic and sacral node involvement (65.2% vs 31.7%, and 21.7% vs 17.1%) and lower rate of extamal iliac node involvement (17.4% vs 41.5%). Conclusion: Compared with cervical carcinoma, endometrial carcino-ma has a distinct lymphatic spread pattern and can directly metastasize to both pelvic lymph nodes and pa-ra-aortic lymph nodes with pelvic lymph node metastases being dominant. Positive lymph nodes are common-ly seen in cases of all pathological grades.

OBJECTIVE:To determine the contents of salicylic acid and the related substances in salicylic acid ointment by HPLC.METHODS:The determination was performed on Kromasil ODS-C18 chromatographic column with mobile phase consisted of methanol-water(adjust pH=2.5 using acetic acid,50∶50)at a flow rate of 1.0 mL?min-1.The sample size was 20 ?L and the detection wavelength was set at 270 nm.RESULTS:The main peak and the related substances were well-separated.The linear range of salicylic acid was 10.014～100.14 ?g?mL-1(r=0.999 9)with an average recovery of 99.35%(RSD=0.99%)and a lowest detectable limit of 5 ng?mL-1,the labeled amout of related substances all less than 1.01%.CONCLUSION:The method developed in our study is simple in operation,accurate in results,specific and suitable for the content determination of salicylic acid ointment.

Objective To find out the present situation and influence factor in core capabilities of nurses of blood purification, and offer reference frame for evaluation, selection, authentication and engagement of nursing post. Methods Core capability training module for nurses of blood purification was selected as theoretical basis for rough draft of evaluation index system establishment. The selected index underwent expert consultation with Delphi method. Results Four hierarchy were confirmed after 3 rounds of consultation (N1-1,N 1-2, N2, N3). Each hierarchy had three evaluation indexes, knowledge, technology and clinical practice. Number of grade one evaluation indexes of each hierarchy was 5,5,4; 5,5, 4;5,5,5; 5,5,1. Number of grade two evaluation indexes was 20,20,24;20,20,20;25,25,48;23,24,14.Only N1- 1,N1-2 and N2 had grade three evaluation indexes, 16, 5, 13 respectively. Conclusions Preliminary establishment of core capability evaluation index system can basically evaluate capability of nurses of blood purification.

Background: Tumor markers are widely used in clinical practice and have become important indicators in assessing cancer progress. There is increasing concern that chemotherapy combined with traditional Chinese medicine has effects in decreasing the level of tumor markers. Objective: To investigate the effects of chemotherapy combined with Kangliu Zengxiao Decoction (KLZX), a compound Chinese herbal drug, on tumor markers carbohydrate antigen 50 (CA 50), cytokeratin 19 fragment (CYFRA21-1) and carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) in patients with advanced non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and to explore the relationships between clinical efficacy and tumor markers. Design, setting, participants and interventions: Patients were included from Punan Hospital of Shanghai Pudong New District and Longhua Hospital between October 2008 and December 2009. Seventy-four subjects with advanced NSCLC were randomly assigned into treatment group (n=37) and control group (n=37). Patients in the control group were treated with chemotherapy alone while patients in the treatment group were treated with chemotherapy combined with KLZX. Chemotherapy of NP (vinorelbine + cisplatin) was given for two cycles and patients in the treatment group were administered with KLZX during chemotherapy. Main outcome measures: Levels of CA50, CYFRA21-1 and CEA before and after treatment were evaluated and the relationship between changes in levels of tumor makers and tumor size, clinical symptoms and living condition score (Karnofsky score) was analyzed. Results: No patients achieved a complete remission. The disease control rates (complete remission (CR)+partial remission (PR)+no change (NC)) were 89.20% (33/37) and 70.30% (26/37) in the treatment and control group respectively (P<0.05). The levels of CA50, CYFRA21-1 and CEA were clearly decreased in the treatment group after treatment (P<0.05) while also decreased in the patients without progression of disease. There were no obvious changes of CA50, CYFRA21-1 and CEA in the control group, and there was even a trend of increase. Furthermore, the improvement rates of clinical syndrome were 51% (19/37) vs 11% (4/37) (P<0.05) in the treatment group and control group respectively. The total response rates of quality of life were 91.89% (34/37) vs 56.76% (21/37) (P<0.01) in the treatment and control group respectively. Conclusion: Combined chemotherapy with KLZX in treating advanced NSCLC can acquire better stabilizing tumor foci, decrease levels of tumor markers and improve the clinical symptoms and Karnofsky score.

Objective To examine the effects of Shenqi Bufei Tang decoction on the expression of histone deacetylase-2 ( HDAC2) and nuclear factor-κB p65 ( NF-κB p65) in the airway smooth muscle tissues of COPD rats with lung-qi deficiency syndrome. Methods A total of 40 male rats were randomly divided into normal control group,model control group,Shenqi Bufei Tang decoction group,and aminophylline group.The COPD rat model with lung-qi deficiency syndrome was established by intra-tracheal instillation of lipopolysaccharide (LPS) and passive smoking for 28 days.Pathological changes of lung tissues were ob-served under the light microscope and the thickness of the small airway wall and airway smooth muscle ( ASM) layer analyzed by the image analysis.Immunohistochemistry,real-time PCR and Western blotting were used to detect the expressions of NF-κB p65 and HDAC2 in ASM. Results The thickness of the airway wall and ASM,and the expression levels of NF-κB p65 mRNA and protein were significantly increased in the model control group when compared with those in the normal control group ( P<0.05) . They were significantly reduced and the expression levels of HDAC2 mRNA and protein were markedly increased in Shenqi Bufei Tang decoction group and aminophylline group,which were compared with those in the model group (P<0.05).There were no sig-nificant differences in these indices between Shenqi Bufei Tang decoction group and aminophylline group (P>0.05). Conclu-sion Shenqi Bufei Tang decoction can inhibit the proliferation of ASM in COPD rats with lung-qi deficiency syndrome,which may be associated with the increased expression of HDAC2 and decreased expression of NF-κB p65.
