Poly ( aniline_luminol ) composite nanowires were synthesized by chemical oxidation using ammonium peroxydisulfate. In contrast to the maximum fluorescence emitting wavelength of luminol at 425 nm, the maximum fluorescence emitting wavelength of the polymeric luminol in the composite nanowires was red shifted to 465 nm obviously. The poly ( aniline_luminol) composite nanowires were modified on graphite electrode surface by drop coating, forming a stable poly ( aniline_luminol ) composite nanowires film. The composite nanowires film modified electrode presented favorable electrochemiluminescence ( ECL ) performances, and the ECL response could be enhanced by hydrogen peroxide. Under the optimized experimental conditions, the modified electrode provided a linear range of 5. 0×10-9-1. 0×10-5 mol/L for the detection of hydrogen peroxide with a detection limit of 2 ×10-9 mol/L.

Objective To produce the recombinant NS3 protease of the hepatitis C virus in insect cells. Methods The gene of HCV serine proteinase domain which encodes 181 amino acids was inserted into pFastBacHTc and the recombinant plasmid pFBCNS3N was transformed into DH10Bac competent cells for transposition. After the recombinant bacmid had been determined to be correct by both blue-white colonies and PCR analysis, the isolated bacmid DNAs were transfected into Sf9 insect cells. The bacmid DNA was verified to replicate in insect cells and package into baculovirus particles via PCR and electronic microscope analysis. The insect cells infected by recombinant baculovirus were determined by SDS-PAGE and Western-blot assays. The recombinant protein was soluted in N-Lauryl Sarcosine Sodium (NLS) and purifed by metal-chelated-affinity chromatography, then the enzymatic activity was measured with the protein substrate NS5ab and the antigenicity of recombinant protease was determined by enzyme-linked immunoabsorbent assay. Results The HCV NS3 protease domain was expressed in insect cells at high level and it was partially resolved in NLS;Totally 0.2 mg recombinant serine proteinase domain with high purity was obtained by metal-chelated-affinity chromatography from 5?10 7 cells and both enzymatic activity and antigenicity of the protein were proven to be good. Conclusion The recombinant HCV NS3 protease expressed in insect cells is a membrane-binding protein with good enzymatic activity and antigenicity.

Objective To investigate the related factors of phlebitis caused by PICC and support effective preventive nursing measures. Methods 163 patients diagnosed as malignant tumor who first used peripherally inserted central catheters (PICC) were recruited. Patients were observed for 3 months. According to the diagnostic criterion of infection, 34 patients with phlebitis were divided into the phlebitis group and others were divided into the control group. All patients were investigated for general information survey :sex, age, tumor type, allergic history, location of inserted vein, one-time success rate, activity after catheter, elbow bending, phlebitis occurred time, grade and type. Laboratory markers:WBC,neutrophils, immune parameters, fasting plasma glucose. Trait anxiety inventory (T-AI)was used for assessment of emotional state. Case-control study between groups was carried out. Results The results of univariate analysis showed that location of inserted vein, times of inserting vein, activity of inserted limb, elbow bending, blood sugar level and emotion were associated with phlebitis. Sex, age, tumor type, allergic history, immune function,WBC,neutrophils were not involved with phlebitis. The results of multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that PICC through basilica vein was the protective factor. Multiple insertions, more activity of inserted limb, durative anxious emotion were the risk factors of phlebitis. Conclusions Different location of vein, times of inserting vein, activity of inserted limb, elbow bending, high blood glucose level and persistent anxious emotion are the risk factors of phlebitis. Taking effective preventive measures before, during, and after PICC can reduce the incidence of phlebitis.

Objective To investigate the induced-factors levels of venous thrombosis associated with the placement of peripherally inserted central catheters (PICC) in patients with malignant tumor, and establish intervention model accordingly. Methods 40 patients complicated with venous thrombosis after PICC were set as the thrombosis group, 40 patients without venous thrombosis were selected as the no-thrombosis group, 30 healthy cases were selected as the control group. All cases' serum samples were ob-tained to measure the levels of molecular biomarkers of the coagulation system, platelet parameters and molecular biomarkers of the fibrinolysis system. The results of the three groups were assessed. Results Patients in the thrombosis group were reported significantly higher levels of vWF, GMP140,TAT than those in both two other groups, but lower levels of ATⅢ. Higher levels of MPV and PCT were found in the throm-bosis group than those in both two other groups.Tthe data also showed higher PLG and PAI levels and lower levels of PLM in the thrombosis group. Conclusions From this study it shows that patients with malig-nant tumors during the placement of PICC have evident hypercoagnlahility, high- activated platelet and se-vere pre- thrombosis state caused by PICC. In treatment of malignant tumor patients with PICC, the level of coag-ulation system molecular markers, platelet parameters, fibrinolysis molecular markers shoud be used as a clinical routine and as the index of early intervention and evaluation of the PICC.

Objective To evaluate the effectiveness of the suture anchor in the treatment of acute closed distal achilles tendon rupture. Methods A retrospective review of clinical data in 25 patients with acute achilles tendon rupture was performed in the department of orthopedic trauma of Tianjin Hospital between October 2012 to January 2014. The operation was performed by standard approach, with the suture anchors to reconstruct the achilles tendon insertion, and the Krachow technique was used to suture the achilles tendon. All patients were followed up for 19~35 months. The situation of the wound healing, heel pain, and achilles tendon re-rupture were observed and analyzed. According to the passive range of motion of the bilateral ankle joint, the achilles tendon total rupture score (ATRS), the American orthopaedic foot and ankle society (AOFAS) score and functional recovery were assessed one year after operation. Results The operation was successfully completed in this group. The operation time was 25-35 min, the average time was (30.4 ± 4.8) min. No major vascular and nerve injury occurred in the operation. All patients were followed up. The wound healed well. No infection and skin necrosis, no heel pain and achilles tendon re-rupture were found during follow-up. There was no significant difference in mean passive plantar flexion between injured ankles and uninjured ankles one year after operation (44.36° ± 3.33° vs. 46.40°±4.53°, P>0.05). But mean passive dorsiflexion was lower in injured ankles than that of uninjured ankles (16.88°± 4.10° vs. 20.12°±3.21°,P<0.05). The mean ATRS score was 88.7±6.1 (range 79-97), and the mean AOFAS score was 92.4± 5.6 (range 76-100) at first postoperative year. According to the AOFAS scale, the results were excellent in 20 cases and good in 5 cases. Conclusion It was successful to repair the acute closed distal achilles tendon injuries with the suture anchors.
