1.Expression of intercellular adhesion molecule-1and HLA-DR antigens in uveitis

Objective :To study the effects of intercellular adhesion molecule-1 (ICAM-1) and human leukocyte antigen (HAL-DR) on the immunopathologic process of uveitis. Methods:Imn- munohistochemical techniques were applied to detect their expression in eyes of both the health (20 cases from eye bank) and patients with uveitis (54 cases with 54 eyes which included 33 ex- ogenous uveitis and 21 endogenous one). Results:Both the two ant igens were detectable in the choroidal and retinal tissues in eyes of uveitis while all the normal eyes showed negative expres- sion of ICAM-1 and negative or little expression of HLA-DR (P<0. 01). However,there was no statistically significant difference between exogenous and endogenous types (P>0. 05). Conclu- sion: Both ICAM-1 and HLA-DR may be responsible for cell recognition and binding in the in- flarnmatory tissues. The co-expression of ICAM-1 and HAL-DR showed that these two factors might play an important role in the immunologic damage of the choroid and retina in uveitis.
2.Dosage relevance of trace PFD with toxicity in rabbit retina

Objective Through pathological and histological examination on retina to research the dosage relevance of trace PFD with toxicity in rabbit retina,and provide experimental reference basis for clinical practice.Methods Fourty eight eyes from 24 experimental rabbits were randomly divided into experimental group(36 eyes) and control group(12 eyes).The experimental one was divided into 3 groups,12 eyes in each group.The surface of rabbit retina was directly injected with 30,50,and 100 ?L liquids of PFD and BSS.The conditions of rabbit retina were observed under ophthalmoscope every day after the liquid injection.The sections of retina tissue were observed under transmission electron microscope in each experimental and control groups at the 4th,7th,14th and 21th day after injection.Results All samples were normal by ophthalmoscope examination while no pathological change of retina was found at various time points .At the 4th day,none substantial damage had been made in any dosage groups by transmission electron microscope examination except for 100 ?L group.Only one retina of 100 ?L group showed that the space around cell nucleus broadened appreciably,slightly atactic nucleus and slightly compact cytoplasm.It showed some early changes.From the 7th day,similar pathological changes were found: damage on outer segments of light receptor and outer plexiform layer,properties changes of light receptor,forming of vesicles of inner nuclear cells,damage of ganglion cell,dying of inside retina,actions of gulping cells in retina,swallow of film plates by pigment epithelial cell of retina,and dropping of top fine hair. But the retina of control group had no pathological changes.Conclusion Trace PFD exists in eyes.There is no relevance between poisonous development of retina and remaining dosage of PFD.However,large remaining of PFD can lead to retina toxicity early.

Hangzhou urban infants were randomly treated with either wearing Sachet or not wearing Sachet for 12 weeks′ observation.We then analyzed statistically the incidence of the two groups. AIM: To study the protective effects of Imipramine (Imi) on ischemic injury in cultured rat cerebral cortical neurons. METHODS: Cortical neurons of fetal rat were cultured in vitro. The protective effects of Imi on ischemic injury in cultured rat cerebral neurons were observed. RESULTS: Imi ( 10 -5, 10 -6, and 10 -7 mol?L -1) reduced the number of cell death, lowered LDH,NO,and MDA content, and increased of activity of SOD. CONCLUSION: Imi can protect rat cerebral cortical neurons from ischemic injury and toxicity of Glu. And it maybe attribute its to antioxidation and calcium antagonism.

6.Yin-Dan Xin-Nao-Tong Capsule Combined with Routine Modern Therapies for Treatment of Type-2 Diabetics Mellitus Complicated with Coronary Heart Disease:A Systematic Review

This article was aimed to assess the effectiveness and safety of Y in-Dan Xin-Nao-Tong (YDXNT) Cap-sule combined with routine modern therapies for treatment of type-2 diabetes mellitus (T2MD) complicated with coronary heart disease (CHD). Databases including CBMDisc, CMAC, CNKI, VIP, Wanfang Data, PubMed, EMbase, and Web of Science were electronically searched from inception to December 2013. Randomized controlled trials (RCTs) on YDXNT capsule combined with routine modern therapies for treatment of T2MD complicated with CHD were included. Two reviewers independently screened literature according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, ex-tracted data, and assessed the methodological quality of included studies. Then, meta-analysis was performed using RevMan 5.1.0 software. The results showed that a total of 9 RCTs with 667 T2MD with CHD cases were included. The results of meta-analysis indicated that the total effective rate of YDXNT capsule combined with routine modern therapies was significant higher than the routine treatment for T2MD complicated with CHD treatment with statistical significance (OR = 4.01, 95%CI [2.37-6.79], P< 0.000 01). It showed that YDXNT capsule combined with routine modern therapies can control angina pectoris. Due to limitation of included data, controlling of the duration of angina pectoris, the attack frequency of angina pectoris, and fasting blood glucose, may be better than the routine treatment group with significant differences. YDXNT capsule can improve hemorheology indices and reduce high condensation state among CHD with T2DM patients in order to relieve angina pectoris. It was concluded that on the basis of current clinical evidences, YDXNT capsule had better treatment effect than the routine treatment group in the treatment of CHD with T2DM. However, the results have certain limitations. It still required double-blind multi-center RCTs with high quality, large samples for further verification.

Rheumatoid arthritis (RA), as a common systemic inflammatory autoimmune disease, affects approximately 1 in 100 individuals. Effective treatment for RA is not yet available because current research does not have a clear understanding of the etiology and pathogenesis of RA. Xinfeng Capsule, a patent Chinese herbal medicine, has been used in the treatment of RA in recent years. Despite its reported clinical efficacy, there are no large-sample, multicenter, randomized trials that support the use of Xinfeng Capsule for RA. Therefore, we designed a randomized, double-blind, multicenter, placebo-controlled trial to assess the efficacy and safety of Xinfeng Capsule in the treatment of RA.

Objective Amniotic membrane as the carrier to culture the vascular endothelial cells was investigated in this study in order to explore whether the corneal endothelial cells superseded by the vascular endothelial cells is feasible on the account of directing a kind of the original method to handle the bullous keratopathy.Methods The vascular endothelial cells adhering to the sphagitides lumen of the experimental rabbits were digested and gained by means of the perfusion method with 0.25%tripsin plus 0.02%EDTA.Fresh amniotic membrane without the amniotic epithelial cells was cut into the square tissue about 1.5 cm?1.5 cm and spread evenly in the 24-well culture dish.Primary cultured cells were subcultured on the amniotic membrane.We would not transplant the vascular endothelial cells feeding on the amniotic membrane until cells is full of the whole amniotic membrane surface.One to two months after the operation,the change of corneal diaphaneity was observed.Results About 12 days since the cell transplantation was performed,the corneal transparency alteration between the experimental groups and the control one is different.The corneal buttons in the experimental group show the severe edema and opacity,and the anterior chamber couldn't be seen unclearly.But,10 days after the operation,the corneal oedema which begins to extenuate was judged through the indicatrix that the corneal edema in the experimental group has been recovering slowly,among which the anterior chamber tissue of 7 animals was visible through the implant.The corneal edema in the control groups intensified evidently,even,the part of these appeared the ulcerous necrosis as result of the corneal severely edema.There is the existence of difference between two groups(P
9.Analysis of typical parameters of air quality in Chinese colleges

Objective:
To analyze the current situation and research update on campus air quality in China, and to provide reference for effective campus environment improvement.
Methods:
The documents of China national knowledge internet (CNKI) from 1980 to 2020 were extracted and the key words related to campus air quality were analyzed by CiteSpace software. Microorganisms, formaldehyde and benzene were selected, data of 200 literatures were classified and sorted out in different functional areas.
Results:
Studies on campus air quality in China has been increasing gradually since 2004, especially focusing on indoor air, PM 2.5 and benzene series. The primary microorganism in the air environment of Chinese campuses was bacteria with the concentration of 2 309.31 cfu/m 3 . The ranking of the overall load of bacteria in air of different functional areas was consistent with that of microorganisms: living service area > landscape leisure area > public transport area > scientific research and teaching area > administrative office area > sports activity area. The average value of microbial indicators in indoor air of computer room, office area and campus living areas were more likely exceed the standard. The formaldehyde concentration in the computer room and reading room was high. The health of students exposed to formaldehyde and benzene on campus evaluated by using the evaluation model of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency proved out to be in the safe range.
Conclusion
The concentrations of microorganisms, formaldehyde and benzene in campus environment mostly meet the requirements. Further measures need to be taken to reduce microbial concentration and strengthen formaldehyde monitoring and pollution source management in computer room and reading room.
10.Primary cutaneous CD30-pos itive anaplastic large cell lymphoma

Objective To analyse the clinical manifestations, pathoogical and immunohistochemica l features of 9 cases of primary cutaneous CD30-positive anaplastic large cell ly mphoma (ALCL) in order to improve the criteria for its early and differential diagnosis. Methods Histopathological method was used to study the morphological characteristics. Immunohistochemical stainings (SP or ABC method) for leukocyte common antigen (LCA), CD20, CD30, CD45RO, CD68, epithelium membran e antigen (EMA), cytokeratin (CK) and HMB45 were applied to the routine para ffin sections of all the 9 cases. Results The 9 cases of primary cutaneous CD30-pos itive ALCL consisting of 6 males and 3 females, aged 31 to 84 years (mean 58.2 years). All patients presented with subcutaneous masses or papular eruptions on lower trunk and extremities. Histopatholoically, the lesions were composed of nu merous large round, oval or pleomorphic cells with abundant cytoplasm, amphophil ic or basophilic, and large nucleus with distinct nucleolus. Mitosis was often o bserved. Multinucleated giant cells and Reed-Sternberg cells may be seen. The n e oplastic cells displayed positive antigen markers for CD30 in 9 cases, 6 positiv e for CD45RO and 3 cases negative for both CD45RO and CD20. Two patients died of metastasis, 2 patients experienced recurrence and 5 patients still well during follow-up. Conclusions Primary cutaneous CD30-positive ALCL is a morphologically distinctive neoplasm with a comparatively favorable prognosis. This tumor can be differentiated from other malignant tumors on the basis of histopathologic feat ures and positive CD30 which is of significance.
