APOBEC(apolipoprotein B mRNA-editing enzyme catalytic-polypeptide) family members were reported as innate immune molecules with anti-viral activity for many viruses, such as HIV and HBV.In order to understand the function of APOBEC, the APOBEC-3F and-3G were cloned, expressed, and the sub-cellular localization of them was detected. The genes of APBEC-3F and-3G were cloned from PHA-stimulated PMBC and expressed in the MDCK cell by transfection. The sub-cellular localization of APOBEC-3F and-3G were detected by immunofluorescence.APOBEC-3F and-3G were cloned by RT-PCR and confirmed by DNA sequencing. The immunofluorescence indicated APOBEC-3F and-3G were located in the cytosal.APOBEC-3F and-3G could inhibit HBV replication effectively in HepG2.2.15 cell.APOBEC-3F and-3G could not be trans-located into nuclear by nuclear location signal(NLS) or bi-NLS(B-NLS).These results will help the future research on the function of APOBEC.

Objective To evaluate the effect of self-expandable nitinol mesh stent (SENMT) for advanced rectal cancer accompanied with obstruction. Methods Clinical data were retrospectively analysed on 12 patients with advanced rectal cancer accompanied with acute or chronic obstruction treated by the stent placement. Results SENMT was placed successfully in 10 patients including replacement in 2 patients because of the stent was migrated. The bowel movement recovered in all of the 10 patients. Ten patients were followed-up, 5 cases died within 56-720 days, and 5 others survived without intestinal obstruction for 6-15 months. The stent failed to be placed in other 2 patients. Conclusions SENMT may be useful in the management of terminal or high-risk surgical patients for palliative purposes. Palliation management of stent placement combined with chemotherapy and immunotherapy might prolong the survival time of these patients.

Objective To investigate the therapeutic effect of two different treatment methods in 90 cases of diarrhea of children. Methods Ninety patients from September 2013 to January 2014 in our hospital for treatment of infantile diar-rhea were divided into the observation group (n=45 cases) and the control group (n=45 cases). Two groups of children were all in accordance with the provisions of general support treatment, control group received oral smecta treatment, given the observation group and combined treatment of smecta and golden bifidobacterium preparation, curative effect of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of observation group was 91.11%, control group was 62.22%, the observation group was better than the control group (χ2=10.497, P=0.001). Conclusion Bifidobacterium combined with smecta has the synergistic effect, in the treatment of infantile diarrhea in a significant effect, can effec-tively shorten the time of onset, relieve pain, maintain its internal environment stable, and has the application value of exact.

Non-rigid registration plays an important role in medical image analysis. U-Net has been proven to be a hot research topic in medical image analysis and is widely used in medical image registration. However, existing registration models based on U-Net and its variants lack sufficient learning ability when dealing with complex deformations, and do not fully utilize multi-scale contextual information, resulting insufficient registration accuracy. To address this issue, a non-rigid registration algorithm for X-ray images based on deformable convolution and multi-scale feature focusing module was proposed. First, it used residual deformable convolution to replace the standard convolution of the original U-Net to enhance the expression ability of registration network for image geometric deformations. Then, stride convolution was used to replace the pooling operation of the downsampling operation to alleviate feature loss caused by continuous pooling. In addition, a multi-scale feature focusing module was introduced to the bridging layer in the encoding and decoding structure to improve the network model's ability of integrating global contextual information. Theoretical analysis and experimental results both showed that the proposed registration algorithm could focus on multi-scale contextual information, handle medical images with complex deformations, and improve the registration accuracy. It is suitable for non-rigid registration of chest X-ray images.
