In the treatment of 126 cases of cervical spondylopathy by electroacupuncture on Jiaji (Ex-B 2),Jianyu (LI 15), Quchi (LI 11) and Hegu (LI 4), in combination with Tuina therapy, the results showed cure in 74 cases, improvement in 49 cases, failure in 3 cases and the total effective rate in 97.6%, after four courses of the treatment.

ObjectiveTo assess the effect of hemodialysis(HD),hemodiafiltration(HDF) and hemodialysis(HD) and hemoperfusion(HDP) on the quality of life,cognitive function and nutritional status in chronic renal failure(CRF) patients.MethodsAll patients were randomly divided into HD,HDF and HDP group.Mini-mental state examination(MMSE),Wisconsin card sorting test (WCST),SF-36 were measured for cognitive function,quality of life and nutrition indicators test.ResultsAfter 3,6 months treatment,MMSE ( respectively ( 22.62 ±3.85),(25.10 ±2.26),(25.35 ±2.44)and (23.87 ±4.19),(25.10 ±2.26),(27.19 ±2.23)),WCST indicators were statistically significant in the three groups (P ＜ 0.05 ) ;after 1,3,6 months treatment,the PF,RP,BP,GH,SF and nutrition indicators were significant difference too(P＜0.05 ) ; HDP and HDF,HD groups were statistically significant(P＜ 0.05 ).ConclusionHDF and HDP obviously influence on long-term cognitive function,physical health domains and nutritional status in CRF patients,and superior to HD.

Objective To evaluate the effect of chlamydiaphage virus protein 2(Vp2) on the recombinant virus and virus screening research, and it clinical value thereof. Methods To compare the Vp2 protein sequences to get the conserva-tive region with COBALT. A phylogenetic tree was built with ProteinBlast of Distance tree. The amino acid sequence in the high conservative region was predicted by the methods of Gamier-Robson and Chou-Fasman, and its flexibe regions were predicted by Karplus method. The hydrophilicity plot was predicted by Kyte-Doolittle and Hopp-Woods method. The sur-face probability was analysed by Emini, and the antigenic index was analysed by Jameson-Wolf method. Results The six Chlamydiaphage Vp2 proteins were the highly conserved sequences. There were obvious differences between Chp1Vp2 and other 5 Vp2 proteins. There were the main structure-alpha helix and some cell epitopes in the high conserved region. Con-clusion Vp2 protein is the important component of chlamydia phage capsid with the conservative nature. Vp2 protein has complicated structures and high conservative region with strong immunogenicity, playing a practical value of research in vi-rus recombinantment and screening the wild strains of chlaymdia trachomatis phage.

We wished to assess the role of chlamydia micro virus capsid protein Vp3 in recombinant molecules, chart its molecular evolution, screen the wild-type strain, and reveal its value in clinical research. Using a protein BLAST multiple-alignment program, we compared various strains of Chlamydia micro virus capsid protein Vp3 sequences. Using a "distance tree" of those results, we created a phylogenetic tree. We applied the Karplus-Schulz method of flexible-region analyses for highly conserved alignments of amino-acid sequences. Gamier-Robson and Chou-Fasman methods were employed to analyze two-level structures of sequences. The Emini method was used for analyses of the accessibility of surface epitopes. Studies of hydrophilic proteins were undertaken using Kyte-Doolittle and Hopp-Woods methods. Analyses of antigen epitopes helped to reveal the antigen index using the Jameson-Wolf method. All sequences in the six strains of chlamydia micro virus capsid protein Vp3 were highly conserved, with the main differences being between Vp3 protein in Chp1 and the other five strains of the micro virus. The viral strain of Vp3 protein was based mainly on micro-alpha helix structures, and multiple epitopes were noted in highly conserved regions. Vp3 protein was highly conserved structurally, and was an important protein of the chlamydiaphage capsid. Vp3 protein has a complicated molecular structure, highly conserved regions with strong immunogenicity, and has considerable research value.

Objective To explore the genomic structure of 8 exons in D gene of RhD(-) Chinese Han population.Methods Polymerase chain reaction-sequence specific primers(PCR-SSP) were used to study genomic DNA from 50 samples of RhD(-) Chinese Han donors. Exons 2,3,4,5,6,7,9,10 of RHD gene and exons 1,2,4,5 of RHCE gene were specifically amplified, also intron 4 of them was amplified. Results Phenotypes of the 50 RhD(-) donors were:22 ccdee, 22 Ccdee, 3 CcdEe, 3 CcdEe. The 8 exons of RHD gene were completely absent in 25 donors with ccdee or ccdEe phenotype, while polymorphisms of D gene exons were found in 25 donors with Ccdee or CcdEe phenotype:the presence of all 8 exons of D gene in 9 donors, the absence of the 8 exons in 7 donors, the presence of exon 2 in 5 donors, the presence of exon 6 in 3 donors and the presence of exons 2,6,10 in 1 donor were demonstrated. Conclusion Polymorphisms of RHD gene exons were present among RhD(-) Chinese Han blood donors. The 8 exons of RHD gene were completely absent in donors with Rhesus cc phenotype, while 5 polymorphisms of RHD gene exons were found in donors with Rhesus Cc phenotype. The discrepancy of the RHD gene in RhD(-) individuals between Chinese Hans and Caucasians indicates that care should be exercised by clinicians in the use of the RhD genotyping results.

This paper introduced the legislative development of community benefits system of nonprofit hospitals at federal level in the United States,as well as state legislatures in this regard. Based on America's experiences, an analysis was made on the "community benefits and health promotion model", which refers to community health needs assessment, health promotion programs, program implementation, supervision and appraisal. Thus the authors put forward inspirations for the social responsibility system development of public hospitals in China as follows. This refers to the establishment of hospitals' social responsibility system; development of community health promotion planning based on health needs;and establishment of social responsibility information disclosure system for fulfillment of their social responsibilities.

Information disclosure is important for the government and society to monitor the fulfillment of social responsibility of hospitals. This paper introduced the existing legislatures of the community benefits information disclosure system for non-profit hospitals in the United States, and analyzed the "two-level and two-way reporting system" of these hospitals, based on facts of California, Illinois and other regions. In the end, the authors put forward inspirations for the development of public hospitals' community benefits system in China as follows. This refers to the establishment of a social responsibility reporting system,stipulating the hospital and its health authority as the entities accountable for disclosure;a two-level/two-way reporting mechanism to improve the integrity of information disclosure;and standardization of information disclosure content and better timeliness and accessibility of information disclosure.
