1.Therapeutic Effect of Urapidil on Congestive Heart Failure
China Pharmacy 2001;0(08):-
AIM:28 patients with congestive heart failure (CHF) were selected in this studyThe therapeutic scheme was as follows:after withdrawal of other vasodilators, urapidil was given in dose of 100~400?g/min intravenous drip;in severe case, the administration continued for 24~72 h;treatment lasted 3~6 daysThe patients'blood pressure, heart rate and LVEF were measured before and after treatmentRESULTS:The patients'clinical manifestations were markedly improved with a total effective rate of 89%LVEF was improved obviously too and the product of systolic pressure and heart rate was decreasedCONCLUSION:Urapidil is a vasodilator with slight side effects, reliable effectiveness and moderate action, and has undoubted therapeutic effect on CHF

BACKGROUND: Rabbit serum samples are widely used in basic researches, and two-dimensional gelelectrophoresis (2-DE) is the most classic technique for protein separation. Therefore, it is of great significance to establish a stable technique system of 2-DE for rabbit serum.OBJECTIVE: To establish a 2-DE technique system for rabbit serum protein separation. DESIGN, TIME AND SETTING: A single sample observational experiment was performed at Tianjin Key Laboratory of Biomarkers for Occupational and Environmental Hazard of Chinese People's Armed Police Forces Medical College from June to July in 2008. MATERIALS: Six healthy rabbits were provided by the Animal Experimental Center of Tangshan Vocational Technical College METHODS: Health rabbit serum was dissolved in rehydration sample loading buffer before and after eliminating high abundance proteins to make proteins in it schizolysis adequately. After reductive alkylation, the samples were loaded into the rehydration tray to undergo passive rehydration for 14 hours. Isoelectric focusing (IEF) electrophoresis was followed by sodium dodecyl sulfate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE). After sliver staining, the gel was analyzed by PDQuest7.4. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: ①Efficiency of eliminating high abundance proteins. ②Two-dimensional eleotrophoregrams (2-D electrophoregrams)RESULTS: Distinct 2-D eleotrophoregrems were obtained with high resolution and good reproducibility. The removal of high abundance proteins in serum failed to result in better 2-D electrophoregrams.CONCLUSION: We have successfully established a 2-DE technique for rabbit serum proteome, which can lay the foundation for the further study of serum proteomics of diseases.

To analyze the clinical, molecular genetic and biochemical characteristics of a family diagnosed with creatine deficiency syndrome (CDS) due to SLC6A8 gene mutation diagnosed in Department of Pediatrics, the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinxiang Medical University in September 2018.The boy was referred at the age of 13 for intermittent vomiting and symptoms were relieved after symptomatic treatment, 7 months later, the patient was diagnosed again. He ate less and constipated as an infant, and had intermittent vomiting and severe constipation from 12 years old.He could walk at the age of 1 year and 6 months, could speak his first word at 2 years old, and only spoke simple sentences at the diagnosis. He rarely communicated with his parents. His brother has severe intellectual deficiency and seizures. His mother has cognitive impairment and had repeated stillbirths and miscarriages. When visiting the doctor, his weight was 22 kg (< P3), height was 131 cm (< P3), and head circumference was 52 cm.Besides, he had severe mental retardation and sluggish expression, poor communication, broad forehead, musculoskeletal atrophy and arched foots. His brain magnetic resonance imaging showed mild enlargement of the lateral ventricles.Magnetic resonance spectroscopy showed normal signals in the bilateral hippocampuses. The boy′s exon sequencing related to intellectual deficiency revealed the hemizygous mutation of SLC6A8 gene c. 626(exon3)-c.627(exon3)delCT.His mother and brother were carriers of the variant gene, but his father and grandmother had no such mutation. The urinary creatine to creatinine ratio was elevated but guanidinoacetate was normal, it was further confirmed that CDS can be caused by the novel mutation c. 626(exon3)-c.627(exon3) delCT in SLC6A8.In clinical practice, boy with mental retardation of unknown origin and often have gastrointestinal symptoms, especially when feeding difficulties and growth retardation occur in infancy, the early diagnosis of CDS can be achieved by examination of urinary creatine to creatinine ratio and gene detection.

This paper introduced the legislative development of community benefits system of nonprofit hospitals at federal level in the United States,as well as state legislatures in this regard. Based on America's experiences, an analysis was made on the "community benefits and health promotion model", which refers to community health needs assessment, health promotion programs, program implementation, supervision and appraisal. Thus the authors put forward inspirations for the social responsibility system development of public hospitals in China as follows. This refers to the establishment of hospitals' social responsibility system; development of community health promotion planning based on health needs;and establishment of social responsibility information disclosure system for fulfillment of their social responsibilities.

Information disclosure is important for the government and society to monitor the fulfillment of social responsibility of hospitals. This paper introduced the existing legislatures of the community benefits information disclosure system for non-profit hospitals in the United States, and analyzed the "two-level and two-way reporting system" of these hospitals, based on facts of California, Illinois and other regions. In the end, the authors put forward inspirations for the development of public hospitals' community benefits system in China as follows. This refers to the establishment of a social responsibility reporting system, stipulating the hospital and its health authority as the entities accountable for disclosure;a two-level/two-way reporting mechanism to improve the integrity of information disclosure;and standardization of information disclosure content and better timeliness and accessibility of information disclosure.

Objective:The paper aims to investigate the current situation and influencing factors of clinical research data sharing of gastroenterology collaboration network of Beijing municipal hospitals so as to provide reference basis for establishing data sharing mode of collaboration center. Methods:A total of 13 gastroenterology department of Beijing municipal hospital collaboration network units enrolled the research. Each department selected 10-15 clinicians for a questionnaire survey. A total of 157 valid questionnaires were collected. Results:The awareness rate of public data platform(realized at least one) is 81.5%. The rate of browsing public data platform is 65.6%. The rate of downloading and uploading rare data are 13.4% and 1.3%, respectively. As the level of professional titles increases, the proportion of clinicians realizing and downloading raw data has increased significantly( P<0.05). In this survey, 31.3% clinicians used the sharing data from other hospitals within the research group and 53.5% clinicians indicated that there is the data sharing platform based on hospital information system within their hospital/department. The rate of willing to share clinical data is 73.3%. However, a majority of clinicians are inclined to accept the sharing within the research group/hospital, and they prefer to share their data when their papers or research results are published. Data storage is mainly numerical and text structured data. Sharing risk, sharing platform, sharing system and data itself are the top four factors affecting data sharing. Conclusions:Relevant departments should strive to establish sharing mechanism, build sharing platforms, refine the sharing access qualification and improve the sharing awareness of medical personnel so as to lay a necessary foundation for further open sharing of big data on digestive diseases.
