Objective To study the expression of muhidrug resistance( MDR1 ) ,and clinical significance of MDR1 gone expression in EOC. Methods Reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction was used to determine the expression of MDR1 in 27 cases of epithelial ovarian cancer,38 cases of benign tumor and 20 cases of normal ovarian tissue. The expression rate of MDR1 and the clinical significance was explored. Results The expression rate of MDR1 gone in malignant,benign tumor and normal tissue of ovary was74.1%, 15.7 % and 0 % respectively. The levd of MDR1 gone expression in EOC was obviously higher than that in benign tumor(P<0.01 ). The non-respond-era to combination chemotherapy exhibited higher ratio of MDR1 expression than the respondera( P<0.05 ). Conclu-sion The expression of MDR1 is higher in EOC than that in normal ovary tissue and benign tumor. The expression of MDR1 is closely related to the tumor response to chemotherapy.
3.Establishment of 3D data-base on artificial resin teeth

Objective To establish 3D data-base on artificial resin teeth with 3D layer scanning digitizer. Methods Artificial resin teeth were measured with a CMS-400 3D digitizer by cutting and scanning layer-by-layer, 3D data points of each tooth acquired and the 3D models of these teeth reconstructed with a computer. Results 3D models of 3D data-base on artificial resin teeth were obtained. The characteristics of these 3D images were clear and accurate. Conclusion The complicated teeth moulds can be measured accurately with the 3D digitizer since there are no measuring blind spots.
4.Application of reverse engineering to reconstruction of dental models

Objective To discuss the foreground of application of reverse engineering reconstruction of dental models and to establish the foundation of developing a system for complete denture CAD/CAM. Methods The models of an edentulous jaw were measured with reverse engineering, and the 3D models were reconstructed with a computer. Results 3D models of the edentulous jaw were achieved. The characteristics of these 3D images were clear and accurate. Conclusion CAD models are reconstructed with reverse engineering accurately and technical problems in 3D model of complete denture CAD/CAM are resolved.
5.Expression of Matrix Metalloproteinases and C-myc in Cutaneous Squamous Cell Carcinoma

Objective To investigate the expression of matrix metalloproteinases(MMP) related to oncogene C-myc and tumor differentiation of cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma (CSCC). Methods Expression of MMP2,MMP9 and C-myc was detected by immunohistochemistry in 68 paraffin embedded specimens of CSCC. Results Distribution of MMP2 and MMP9 was demonstrated within cytoplasm of tumor and stromal cells, especially for those cells at the interface of tumor and interstitial tissues. No expression of MMP2 and MMP9 was observed in the horny centers of tumor cell nests. Expression of MMP2 and MMP9 increased along with the decreasing of the differentiation of tumor tissue and the increasing of C-myc expression. Conclusions Expression of MMP2 and MMP9 might be a common event for both tumor and stromal cells but parenchymal tumor cells might predominate over the activation of MMP2 and MMP9. Oncogene C-myc protein might promote the secretion of MMP2 and MMP9 by tumor cells.
6.Effects of Jinma Tongluo Capsule on Micronucleu s of Mice Marrow Cells

Effects of Jinma Tongluo capsule (JT C) on the incidence of micronucleu s of marrow cells in mice with Kunming species were reported. JTC intragastric d osages of 100 mg/kg, 400 mg/kg, 1600 mg/kg (equivalent to 3, 12 and 48 times of the clinical dosage respectively) were given to the mice.Twenty-four hours later th e mice were e xecuted and the marrow cells were examined. The incidence of micronucleus was 2 .00‰, 1.83‰, 2.17‰ respectively. In the group of dosage of 1600 mg/kg, the inci dence was maintained in the normal limits within 12~72h. And the differences we r e not significant as compared with the negative group and the solvent control gr oup. It's indicated that ig total alkalin of Flos Daturae under 0.86 mg/kg has no effect on micronucleus of mice marrow cells.
7.Expression of p63?PCNA and EGFr in Skin Squamous Cell Carcinoma

Objective To investigate expression of p63?PCNA and epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFr)in skin squamous cell carcinoma(SCC) . Method Tissue specimens from 68 cases of SCC were studied using immunohistochemistry staining method with monoclonal antibodies to p63?PCNA and EGFr. Results The expression of p63 protein and PCNA was principally restricted to basal cells with high proliferative potentiality and was absent in cells of stratum corneum that were undergoing terminal differentiation in normal or carcinoma epidermis. In highly differentiated tumors, the staining of p63 formed a ring surrounding carcinoma nests. In low differentiated tumors, p63 positive cells were increased and disorderly arranged. Diffuse expression of PCNA and EGFr was found through out all carcinoma nests. Expression of p63?PCNA and EGFr was significantly stronger in SCC and intraepithelial neoplasm(SIN)level Ⅲthan those in normal or proliferative epidermis near the carcinoma. A significant correlation was found between expression of p63,PCNA,EGFr and degree of differentiation of SCC,and between p63 and EGFr,p63 and PCNA,PCNA and EGFr, respectively. Conclusion Overexpression of p63?PCNA?EGFr may be contributed to acquisition of enhanced capability of proliferation, aggression and anaplasia in SCC.

10.Preparation of nifedipine liposomes by pH steps degree-freeze thawing method

Objective To study the preparation of nifedipine liposomes (NP) and evaluate their quality. Methods The liposomes were prepared by a pH steps degree-freeze thawing method, with the entrapment and stability as indices. The entrapment was studied by Sephadex G-50 minicolumn centrifugation UV-Vis spectroscopy method. Entrapment, and degree distribution before and after freezing were compared, the effect of freezing times on entrapment was studied. Results The entrapment and the average size of NP liposomes were 96.65% and 2.0 ?m, respectively. After freezing, both the entrapment and stability were increased. Conclusion The selected formulation and preparation of nifedipine liposomes are practicable.
