s Objective: To identify neural correlates for the recognition of familiar verbal voices by measuring regional blood oxygen level-dependent (BOLD) signal by functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI). Methods:Thirteen Chinese health male subjects (mean age 26.1 years, SD= 2.9years) participated in the study. All subjects were right-handed and Han nationality. The subjects listened to familiar (subjects' friends) and unfamiliar voices when functional scanning. Functional data were acquired using a 1.5T MRI (GE Systems, USA), and were analyzed using statistical parametric mapping 99 (SPM99). A fixed-effects model was employed to assess the difference in BOLD response between 'familiarity' and 'unfamiliarity' conditions (P

Journal of Chinese Physician 2001;0(01):-
Objective To explore the value of microarousal in the diagnosis and treatment of obstructive sleep apnea-hypopnea syndrome(OSAHS). Methods 120 snorers were monitored by standard polysomnography(PSG). The overnight PSG recordings were also performed 1 year after operation in 24 patients, who had filled in the Epworth Sleep Score(ESS) before and after treatment, to evaluate the improvement of daytime sleepiness. Results After operation, obstructive sleep apnea of the 24 patients disappeared, their ODI 4 decreased from (52?26)/h to (10?8)/h, microarousal decreased from (28?16)/h to (14?6)/h, and the subjective and objective daytime sleepiness was improved. Conclusion The EEG changes of microarousal with at least 3 seconds in OSAHS patients can be recorded by computerized EEG analysis. Microarousal can serve as an index for daytime sleepiness, and be complementary to AHI in the diagnosis and treatment of OSAHS.

Objective:To explore the clinical characteristics and risk factors of severe and critical influenza in children. Methods:The clinical data of 214 inpatient children with severe and critical influenza hospitalized in the Second Affiliated Hospital & Yuying Children′s Hospital of Wenzhou Medical University from January 1, 2016 to December 31, 2019 were retrospectively collected. The clinical characteristics including age, gender, symptoms, signs, underlying diseases, C-reactive protein (CRP), treatment and outcome of children with severe and critical influenza were compared. Chi-Square test was used for statistical analysis. A binary logistic regression model was constructed to analyze the risk factors for critically ill influenza. Results:Of the 214 children, 153 were male (71.5%), 177(82.7%) were under 5 years old. There were 52 children with underlying diseases. Fever occurred in 207 cases. Among the 54 cases that had convulsion during the course of the disease, three developed acute necrotizing encephalopathy. The influenza subtype was mainly type A, accounting for 190(88.79%). A total of 42(19.6%) children were critically ill. The incidence of critical influenza in children with underlying diseases (61.9%, 26/42) was higher than that in severe influenza children (15.1%, 26/172), and the difference was statistically significant ( χ2=40.175, P<0.01). The incidence of critical influenza in children with CRP≥40 mg/L was higher than that of severe influenza in children with CRP ≥40 mg/L (33.3%(14/42) vs 9.3%(16/172)), and the difference was statistically significant ( χ2=16.173, P<0.01). Multivariate logistic regression showed that underlying diseases (odds ratio ( OR)=8.794, 95% confidence interval ( CI) 3.845-20.111) and CRP ≥40 mg/L ( OR=5.050, 95% CI 1.966-12.970) were risk factors for critical influenza. All severe cases were improved and discharged.Among the 42 critically ill children, seven children died. Conclusions:Among the severe and critical influenza in children, the majority of children are under five years old.Underlying diseases and CRP ≥40 mg/L are risk factors for critical influenza.

Objective To evaluate the diagnostic value of tracking movement of normal patellar using volume scan on sensation 320 CT. Method Data of dynamic scans of 30 knees was collected using the motor function of 320 CT and retrospectively analyzed. The data of movement of the patellorfemoral joint was obtained during flexion (from 0° to 120°) within 10-sec by 320 CT from all volunteers. The 3D coordinate of the center of patella was recorded to investigate the dispose relation of patellofemoral joint.Result With the knee angle changed from 0° to 90°, the patella moved rapidly along the Y-axis direction ( sagittal plane) down about (53.87 ± 0. 45 ) mm, and then entered the plateau phase with little change. When the knee flexion reached 10°-30° ,the patellar movement along the X-axis reached the largest range of (2. 31 ±0. 52)-(3.36 ± 0. 43 ) mm, and subsequently moved to the opposite lateral direction with the maximum about (8. 53 ± 0. 44 ) mm at 120°. In the Z axis, the track initially showed plateau, and then presented a rapidly downward trend after 30°. The patellar tracking is like an outward arc during the whole knee flexion. Conclusion The motor functional imaging of 320 CT can pinpoint the patelar tracking in a fast, painless way.
