Exercise fatigue is a physiological phenomenon not only for athletes, but also for astronauts. It is vital for athletes with hard training and astronauts with the heavy exercises for the mission in manned space flight to know how to solve the exercise fatigue. This article reviewed current commonly used TCM protective measures against fatigue.

Objective To investigate effects of Taikong Yangxin Prescription on left ventricular pump and contract function in rat after tail suspension. Methods Twenty four male Sprague-Dawley(SD)rats were randomly and divided into three groups:(A)normal control group,(B)tail-suspension group and(C)Chinese herb compound group(taking Taikong Yangxin Prescription and tail suspension). The left ventricular functions in rats were examined by echocardiography separately after 7 d and 28 d tail-suspension.Results After 28 d of tail-suspension,as compared with the tail-suspension group,LVDD in Chinese herb compound group increased significantly(P

Objective To explore the effect of non nutrition sucking and massage on gastrointestinal function in very low birth weight infants in NICU.Methods A total of 62 very low birth weight infants in NICU of our hospital were selected as study subjects.According to the order of entering NICU time, they were divided into observation group (33 cases) and control group (29 cases). The control group only treated with gastric tube feeding and the observation group was treated with non nutrition sucking and massage on the basis of the control group. The changes of body weight and gastrointestinal function in two groups were analyzed and compared. Results There was no significant difference in birth weight of the neonates in two groups at birth (P <0.05).At 7th,14th and 28th day after birth, the body mass of the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group (P < 0.05).The indicators of defecation and feeding in the observation group were better than that of the control group (P < 0.05).In addition, the incidence rates of vomiting, abdominal distention, gastric retention and pathoglycemia of the observation group during feeding period were significantly lower, and the symptoms improved times were significantly lower than that in the control group (P < 0.05).Conclusion Non nutrition sucking and massage can promote maturation of gastrointestinal function, reduce the occurrence of feeding intolerance, accelerate the early growth and development of very low birth weight infants.

Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2001;18(2):326-329
Based on the electrophysiologic mechanism of cardiac electrical action and the theory of voltage effect, the limit amplitude technique was employed to obtain the best clinical record effects. The results showed that limiter could limit the oversize signals overlapping each other and make the tiny signals magnification whthout distortion, such as the His bundle deflection in His Bundel Electrogram. At the same time, all signals recorded at multichannel physiologic recorder were clear and did not interfere with each other. Furthermore, the limiter not only improved the recording quality but also protected the cardiac electronic equipment because overdue stimulation signal was limited at a given electronic level during the recording of transesophageal pacing.

Objective To observe and analyze the application of Pareto law and PDCA principle in ICU nursing teaching. Methods Totally 133 nursing interns in ICU from October 2015 to October 2016 were chosen as the control group adopting the routine nursing teaching method; 137 nursing interns from November 2016 to November 2017 were selected as the experimental group for whom Pareto law and PDCA principle were applied in ICU nursing teaching. The post-teaching theory, skill test scores, quality of nursing documents and satisfaction with teaching were compared between the two groups. Results As for the doctor's order list, body temperature list, nursing record sheet, repairable rate of nursing document defect, the test group accounted for 0.73% (1/137), 0, 0.73% (1/137) and 1.46% (2/137) respectively, while those of the control group were respectively, 5.26% (7/133), 4.51% (6/13), 8.27% (11/13), and 18.05%(24/133). The difference between the two groups was statistically significant (χ2=4.8235-39.3526, P<0.05 or <0.01)). In the experimental group, the scores of theoretical knowledge, professional operation, patient management and work attitude were as follows:(93.5±1.4), (94.9±1.1), (89.2±3.3) and (91.5±2.6);those of the control group were respectively (93.5 ± 1.4), (94.9 ± 1.1), (89.2 ± 3.3) and (91.5 ± 2.6). The difference was statistically significant (t=21.3228-26.9353, P<0.01). The satisfaction rate of the test group was 100.00% (137/137), and that of the control group was 69.17% (92/133). The difference was statistically significant (χ2=41.3671, P<0.01). Conclusion In ICU nursing teaching, the application of Pareto law and PDCA principle can effectively improve the test scores of theory and skill operation after nursing teaching, enhance the quality of nursing documents, improve the interest of nursing interns in learning, and raise the teaching satisfaction rate. Thus, the effect is ideal.
