The chemical constituents from polarity part in the roots of Angelica dahurica var. formosana cv. Chuanbaizhi were studied in this paper. The compounds were separated and purified by repeated column chromatographic methods on silica gel and HPLC, and the chemical structures of compounds were determined by spectral data analyses. Fourteen compounds were obtained and identified as tert-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-(R)-byakangelicin (1), (2"S) -3"-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-oxypeucedanin hydrate (2), marmesinin (3), sec-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-byakangelicin (4), isofraxidin-7-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (5), benzyl-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (6), 8-O-β-D-glycopyranosylxanthotoxol (7), prenyl-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (8), scopolin (9), (2' R) -5'-hydroxymarmesin-5'-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (10), (2'S,3'R) -3'-hydroxymarmesinin (11), skimmin (12), benzyl-O-β-D-apiofuranosyl-(1"--> 6')-β-D-glucopyranoside (13), and decuroside IV (14). Among them, compounds 2, 5, 6, 8, and 10-13 were obtained from the roots of title plant for the first time.

Objective To investigate the clinical feature,image of CT scan pulmonary,diagnosis and treatment response in children with pulmonary cavity,and discuss the method of diagnosis and the tactics of treatment for pulmonary cavity in children.Methods A retrospective study of 6 patients with pulmonary cavity,who were diagnosed and treated from Jul. 2003 to Oct. 2009 in Department of Pediatrics of the First Hospital Affiliated to China Medical University.The clinical manifestations,laboratory tests,image of CT scan pulmonary,microbiological evidence,diagnostic procedure and treatment response were collected and evaluated.Results Six patients all didn′t have history of lung di-sease,there were 4 boys and 2 girls,8-15 years old,average age was 10.5 years old.Two cases of them had unrelated pulmonary underlying diseases,1 case had hyperthyroidism,and the other had juvenile idiopathic arthritis and had complication of macrophage activation syndrome,the other 4 cases had no obvious history.All cases had fever (38-40 ℃),3 cases had cough and 1 case had chest pain.Staphylococcus aureus were cultured in 2 cases,no bacteria was cultured in other 4 cases;the count of white blood cell decreased in 2 cases and increased in 4 cases;C-reactive protein increased in 5 cases and was normal in 1 case;plasma IgE level increased in 2 cases and was normal in other 4 cases;plasma 1,3-beta-D-glucan of all 6 cases were negative.Pulmonary cavities were found in the first CT scan of the lungs in 5 cases and only 1 case of patient′s pulmonary cavities was found in the second CT scan of the lung.Five cases were diagnosed infective causes,1 case was diagnosed noninfectious cause,5 cases of infective causes had been treated with anti-microbial drugs for at least 1 week,1 case of noninfectious cause were treated with methylprednisolone cobined cyclosporin A for 2 weeks.Pulmonary CT scan was rechecked in all cases,and the state of the cases were improved before discharged from hospital.Conclusions The causes of pulmonary cavity in children are not only infective factors,but also some non-infective disease,especially some changes of image of pulmonary CT scan has diagnostic value,detailed past medical history and appropriate rechecking of chest radiographic check are very necessary for diagnosis,according to the result of microbial inspection and evaluation of treatment effect in time and then adjust the treatment protocols.

ObjectiveTo explore effect of family rehabilitation on motor function of stroke patients.MethodsTo provide family rehabilitation with community guide for 106 stroke patients, and observe therapeutic effect.ResultsFamily rehabilitation was effective on 106 cases, and the earlier therapy started, the better effect was.ConclusionFamily rehabilitation is playing an important role in treatment of stroke patients.

Objective To investigate the effects of subchronic arsenic exposure on caspase-3 expression in Leydig cells and serum testosterone level in rats. Methods Forty SD rats were divided into four groups based on body mass (160-220 g) by random number table, 10 in each group and treated with As2O3 through drinking water at the doses of 0.0 (distilled water), 2.0, 12.0 and 60.0 mg/L for 14 weeks. Blood sample from heart was collected, serum testosterone was measured by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA); the testicular tissue of rats was taken, the expression of caspase-3 was assayed by immunohistochemical staining, and its average gray value was analyzed with image analysis software (Biomias). Results There were statistically significant differences of the serum testosterone levels between groups (F= 37.99, all P< 0.05). Compared with the control group [(3.082 3 ± 0.653 0) ng/L], serum testosterone levels in middle-dose and high-dose groups [(1.694 6 ± 0.255 4), (1.350 5 ± 0.281 9)ng/L] were significantly lower (all P< 0.05). The numbers of positive cells of caspase-3 were 8.10 ± 1.91, 9.80 ± 2.15,10.00 ± 1.83 and 10.90 ± 2.38 in each vision in the 4 groups, there were statistically significant differences between groups (F=3.17, all P<0.05), compared with the control group , the middle-dose and high-dose groups were significantly higher (all P<0.05);the average gray values of caspase-3 were 135.10 ± 6.89, 130.00 ± 3.30, 117.10 ± 4.28, and 113.10 ± 5.38, there were statistically significant differences between groups (F = 41.09, P < 0.05), compared with the control group, the middle-and high-dose groups were decreased (all P<0.05). Conclusions One possible mechanism of As2O3 on male germ cell toxicity may be through up-regulation of the expression of caspase-3 in Leydig cells of SD rats and initiating the pathway of the apoptosis signal, which can lead to increased apoptosis of Leydig cells, decreased concentrations of testosterone, and damaged reproductive function in rats.

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of combining auricular point sticking and a healthy diet to treat simple obesity in children aged 6-9 years old.Methods: A total of 190 eligible obese kids were divided into an observation group and a control group using the random number table method, with 95 cases in each group. The observation group was intervened by auricular point sticking plus guide on a healthy diet, while the control group was only provided with the guide on a healthy diet. The therapeutic efficacy was observed after intervention for three consecutive months, as well as the changes in body mass (BM), body mass index (BMI), waist circumference (WC), hip circumference (HC), and subcutaneous fat thickness. Results: After the 3-month intervention, the total effective rate was 91.6％ in the observation group, versus 74.7％ in the control group, and the between-group difference was statistically significant (P<0.01); in both groups, the BM, BMI, WC, HC, and subcutaneous fat thickness all decreased significantly (P<0.05), and were lower in the observation group than in the control group, showing statistical significance (P<0.05). Conclusion: Auricular point sticking plus a healthy diet is safe and effective in treating simple obesity in children, producing more significant efficacy than healthy diet intervention alone.

OBJECTIVETo study the combination of Mandibular distraction and orthognathic techniques for the reconstruction of adult hemifacial microsomia.

METHODSThe three-dimensional CT reconstruction data was used with Mimics for preoperation design. The osteotomy location, distraction vector, distraction distance were decided before operation with a surgical guider. At the first stage, internal distractor was implanted after ostetomy through an extra-oral approach. The distraction begun 5-7 days after operation with a frequency of 1 mm/day. After distraction, the distractor was maintained for 3-6 months. At the second stage, the distractor was removed. Le Fort I osteotomy was performed in order to correct the cross-bite and improve the facial contour. Usually, bone graft was inserted into the gap after Le Fort I osteotomy. The genioplasty was also performed if necessary.

RESULTS9 cases of adult hemifacial microsomia with severe mandibular deviation were treated. The facial asymmetry were improved greatly. 1 patient suffered an wound infection in the maxillary region after Le Fort I osteotomy and healed uneventfully with wound irrigation.

CONCLUSIONSMandibular distraction combined with orthognathic surgery is an effective procedure for adult hemifacial microsomia with complicated mandibular hypoplasia.

Objective To investigate the safty and accuracy ot estimating the living donor's graft volume with IQQA liver imaging evaluation system.Methods Between June 2007 and July 2010,123living liver donors were enrolled to undergo 16-slice CT scanning,then graft volume was estimated by both IQQA and manu-traced multi-slice spiral computed tomography (MSCT) approach.The graft volume and time consuming between IQQA and manu-traced MSCT were compared. Pearson Correlation test was uesd to verify the correlation between the estimated graft volume estimated each method and actual graft weight detected in operation.Linear correlation analysis was done.Results The mean graft volume by IQQA and manu-traced MSCT was (856.76 ± 162.18) and (870.64 ±172.54) cm3 respectively preoperation.Paired t-test showed there was no statistically significant difference between IQQA and MSCT methods (P＞0.05).It took mean ( 16.9 ± 1.4) min to calculatethe graft volume by IQQA and (39.3 ± 2.1 ) min by manu-traced MSCT,respectively (P＜0.05).The real graft volume was (632.59 ± 13 1.73) cm3.Pearson correlation test showed the graft volume calculated by either IQQA or MSCT method had a significantly positive correlation with the real graft weight (MSCT r =0.921,IQQA r =0.896,P＜0.01 ).Graft weight could be expressed in the equation:Actual graft weight =- 150.303 + 1.025 × IQQA value or =- 94.397 + 0.955 × MSCT value.Conclusion IQQA system has same accuracy with MSCT method in predicting the graft volume but consuming less time.IQQA system promotes the recognition of clinician on liver three dimensional anatomic structure.

Objective To study the pharmacokinetics profiles of ibupro-fen and pseudo ephedrine with chlorpheniramine suspension after single and multiple dosing in healthy volunteers.Methods Three single and one multiple oral doses of ibuprofen and pseudo ephedrine with chlorphe-niramine suspension were given to healthy volunteers respectively.Ibu-profen concentrations in plasma were determined by HPLC-UV method.Pseudo ephedrine and chlorpheniramine concentrations in plasma were determined by HPLC-MS-MS method.The pharmacokinetic parameters were obtained with statistical analysis by DAS Ver 2.0.Results The main pharmacokinetic parameters of 3 single doses(ibuprofen:200,400,600 mg pseudo ephedrine:30,60,90 mg;chlorpheniramine:2,4,6 mg)and multiple dose(ibuprofe,pseudo ephedrine and chlorphe-niramine 200,30,2 mg,respectively)shown that the concentration-time curves of ibuprofen,pseudo ephedrine and chlorpheniramine were described by one-compartment open model and physiological disposi-tions were assumed by linear kinetics characteristics.Conclusion In multiple dosing study,physiological dispositions of ibuprofen,pseudo e-phedrine and chlorpheniramine all existed no induction and inhibition of drug enzyme phenomenon.
