The systemic anaphylaxis murine model was induced by the injection of oval albumin (OVA)in aluminum hydroxide gel adjuvant. The death rate varied with the mouse species: 40-90% in Swiss and 69% in average,no death in C57BL/6 and 615 but some symptoms. developed. Swiss mice was adopted in this experiment.90% of mice pretreated with Lx remained living after allergen challenge,but only 20% in normal control. For elucidation the possible mechanism of Lx action,the study was carried out on detection of anti-OVA IgE specific antibody and histamin concentration in lung tissues. Passive cutaneous anaphylaxis(PCA)titers for anti-OVA IgE antibody in serum ranged from undilution to 160 in control group and not detectable in group pretreated with Lx. In addition, after absorption of PCA positive sera with anti-IgG antibody.the PCA activity was not affected. Objective To evaluate the relationship between carotid artery plagues and the clinical risk factors in patients with diabetes mellitus type 2 by observing the ultrasonic characteristics of carotid atherosclerosis plagues.Methods The ultrasound results of carotid arteries in 665 patients with diabetes mellitus type 2 from January 2009 to December 2011 in Beijing Amery General Hospital were retrospectively analyzed.The location and quantity of carotid atherosclerotic plaques were observed .The relationship between the occurrence and risk factors of diabetes such as hypertension ,family history of diabetes and age were analyzed.Single factor and multi-factor analysis were applied for the related risk factors .Results The ultrasonography showed 405 cases of carotid artery plaques.Most carotid artery plaques were located in the posterior wall of carotid sinus and were hyperechoic ,hypoechoic or isoechoic.The single factor analysis showed hypertension,family history of diabetes and age are risk factors of carotid atherosclerosis (χ2 =42.322,9.682 and 140.658,all P<0.01).Multi-factor logistic regression analysis showed age was an independent risk factor of carotid atherosclerosis in patients with diabetes mellitus type 2.The risk factors scores of patients who were less than 45 years,45-65 years and over 65 years of age were (3.50 ±1.16)scores,(3.46 ±0. 92)scores and (3.21 ±0.88)scores,and the difference was statistically significant (F=5.781,P<0.001). There were significant differences between risk factors scores of different age groups ( t =2.084,2.002, 3.786,3.474,2.877 and 2.504,all P<0.05).In patients more than 65 years of age,the risk of atherosclerosis plaques is 28.732 times higher than that of patients less than 45 years of age.After controlling the age factor,the possibility of atherosclerosis plaque increased 1.201 times for each additional one point of score. Conclusions Most carotid artery plaques in patients with diabetes mellitus type 2 are located in the posterior wall of carotid sinus and are hyperechoic ,hypoechoic or isoechoic.Age is an independent risk factor for the formation of carotid plaque.Patients more than 45 years of age should undergo early intervention to avoid the occurrence of major vascular complications .

Objctive To search for the therapeutic method of children's nephrotic syndrome.Methods Sixty-six cases oe children's nephrotic syndrome were randomly divided into 2 groups,impulsion group (34 cases) and control group (32 cases). Dexamethasone (1．5~3 )/mg (kg?d) added into (100~150)ml 10%GS solution, intravenous drip in impulsion group, one time a day, totat 3 days, the fourth day stoped. The fifth day started again and used one time evcry two days, total 6 times. Prednisone(1．5~3)mg/(kg?d) were taken next day and total 4 weeks, then grandually decreased the dose. Only prodnisone was used in control group, the method and dose were the same as impulsion group.Results Complete remission. partial remission inefficacy ere 23, 7 and 4 cases respectiye1y in impulsion group and 22, 5 and 5 cases respectively in control group, the effective rates of the 2 group are 88．23%and 84．38% (P＞0．05). The times of state of illness stabilization are respectively 11．3?7．2 and 10．48?6．34 months in the 2 groups. The side effect of impulsion group is bigger than that of control group.Conclusion Children's primary nephrotic syndrome should be treated for 8 weeks by routine hormone induction therapy, if no remission, impulsion therapy could be used.

Objective:To improve the teaching quality of in-service clinical pharmacist training. Methods:According to the traits of in-service pharmacists and teaching methods, combined with problem-based learning ( PBL), peer-led team learning(PLTL) and lecture-based learning ( LBL) , a standard teaching mode for in-service clinical pharmacists was explored and established. Results:The teaching mode could not only improve the study enthusiasm of students, but also let them master the study methods, and team co-operation consciousness was strengthened. Conclusion:An integrated teaching mode of LBL, PBL and PLTL has a good teaching effect on clinical pharmacist training.

OBJECTIVETo observe the clinical efficacy of Qi-supplementing and blood-activating (QSBA) in treating diabetic peripheral nephropathy (DPN).

METHODSSixty-eight type 2 diabetes mellitus patients with Qi deficiency-blood stasis Syndrome were randomly divided into two groups, the neurotrophic agents were used in both groups, while QSBA herbs were used in the treated group additionally. The treatment course was 2 months. Blood glucose (BG), triglyceride (TG), total cholesterol (TC) and nerve conduction velocity (NCV) were detected before and after treatment.

RESULTSAfter treatment, the BG, blood lipid, NCV were improved significantly (P < 0.05) in both groups, but the improvement was more significant in the QSBA treated group than in the control group (P < 0.05).

CONCLUSIONQSBA, in treating DPN, can not only improve its symptoms, but also ameliorate the NCV.

Virtual experiment is the application of virtual reality technology in experiment sciences.In the physiology teaching, virtual reality modules are made up of experiment theory module,experiment process module,virtual reality module,review mod- ule and experiment report module.We set up a virtual physiology experiment system by author ware and other software.

The present study is to establish Caco-2/HT29-MTX co-cultured cells and investigate the transport capability of PLGA nanoparticles with different surface chemical properties across Caco-2/HT29-MTX co-cultured cells. PLGA-NPs, mPEG-PLGA-NPs and chitosan coated PLGA-NPs were prepared by nanoprecipitation method using poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid) as carrier material with surface modified by methoxy poly(ethylene glycol) and chitosan. The particle size and zeta potential of nanoparticles were measured by dynamic light scattering. Coumarin 6 was used as a fluorescent marker in the transport of nanoparticles investigated by confocal laser scanning microscopy. The transport of furanodiene (FDE) loaded nanoparticles was quantitively determined by high performance liquid chromatography. Colchicine and nocodazole were used in the transport study to explore the involved endocytosis mechanisms of nanoparticles. Distribution of the tight junction proteins ZO-1 was also analyzed by immunofluorescence staining. The results showed that the nanoparticles dispersed uniformly. The zeta potential of PLGA-NPs was negative, the mPEG-PLGA-NPs was close to neutral and the CS-PLGA-NPs was positive. The entrapment efficiency of FDE in all nanoparticles was higher than 75%. The transport capability of mPEG-PLGA-NPs across Caco-2/HT29-MTX co-cultured cells was higher than that of PLGA-NPs and CS-PLGA-NPs. Colchicine and nocodazole could significantly decrease the transport amount of nanoparticles. mPEG-PLGA-NPs could obviously reduce the distribution of ZO-1 protein than PLGA-NPs and CS-PLGA-NPs. The transport mechanism of PLGA-NPs and mPEG-PLGA-NPs were indicated to be a combination of endocytosis and paracellular way, while CS-PLGA-NPs mainly relied on the endocytosis way. PEG coating could shield the surface charge and enhance the hydrophilicity of PLGA nanoparticles, which leads mPEG-PLGA-NPs to possess higher anti-adhesion activity. As a result, mPEG-PLGA-NPs could penetrate the mucus layer rapidly and transport across Caco-2/HT29-MTX co-cultured cells.

Objective To analyze monitoring results of iodized salt and distribution characteristics of problem areas with non-iodized salt in Gansu province during 2001 - 2009 and to provide a basis to develop countermeasures to iodine deficiency disorders. Methods According to the criterion of "The National Scheme of Iodized Salt Surveillance", two levels of monitoring were carried out on production and wholesale-level(during 2001 -2007) and household-level(during 2001 - 2009). Salt iodine was determined by direct titration method (GB/T13025.7-1999), and Sichuan salt or special salt was determined with an arbitration method. Criteria for qualified iodized salt was (35 ± 15)mg/kg(20 - 50 mg/kg), and for non-iodized salt was ＜ 5 mg/kg. Results During 2001 - 2007, a total of 4900 salt samples at production and wholesale-levels were examined, with a qualification rate of 97.80% (4792/4900). Non-iodized salt rates were all below 5% in Gansu province, consumption rate of qualified iodized salt was higher than 90% after 2003. During 2001 - 2009, cities(states) with non-iodized salt problems appeared 23 times, with Linxia accounting for 39.1%(9/23), Wuwei accounting for 21.7%(5/23). During 2001 -2009, counties(districts) with non-iodized salt problem appeared 123 times, including 68 times of ethnic minorities and state poverty counties, accounting for 55.3%(68/123). During 2001 - 2005 and 2006 - 2009, ethnic minorities and state poverty counties were accounting for 49.4%(44/89) and 70.6%(24/34) in counties with non-iodized salt problem. Conclusions The quality of iodized-salt at production and wholesale level is satisfactory in Gansu province, household consumption rate of qualified iodized salt have reached national standard for eliminating iodine deficiency disorders. But ethnic minorities and state poverty counties are main regions with non-iodized salt problem,these areas will be the key areas of prevention of iodine deficiency disorders in Gansu province in the future.

Objective To explore the relative expression of plasma miR-199a-5p and miR-200c-3p in gastric adenocarcinoma cancer(GAC) patients and its clinical value.Methods Case-control study was used in this research.The relative expression of plasma miR-199a-5p and miR-200c-3p from 47 GAC patients and 50 healthy controls were determined by RT-PCR ( TaqMan Probe method).Meanwhile, the association with age, gender, tumor location, size, degree of differentiation, TNM stage, lymph node metastasis and other clinical pathological parameters were analyzed.The expression of these two miRNAs in plasma of 30 GAC patients during preoperation was compared with their expression 6-8 days after radical surgery.The sensitivity and specificity of plasma miRNAs expression for the diagnosis of GAC were analyzed using the receiver operating characteristic ( ROC ) curve.SPSS20.0 statistical software was used for statistical analysis.T-test, paired t-test and one-factor ANOVA were used for normal distribution of quantitative data.Results The plasma level of miR-199a-5p in GAC patients was significantly lower(1.05 ±0.22) (t =3.058,P =0.003), while miR-200c-3p was significantly higher(15.15 ±3.02) (t =-2.854,P=0.006), when they were compared with those in controls(26.80 ±8.38, 3.39 ±0.87).Low miR-199a-5p expression in GAC patients were associated with lymph node metastasis ( F =4.725, P =0.029) and the differentiation degree of gastric cancer(F=3.854,P=0.032).The relative expression of miR-199a-5p in postoperative plasma was significantly increased(t=-3.814,P=0.001), but the relative expression of miR-200c-3p was significantly reduced when compared to the preoperative samples(t=2.978, P=0.006).Area under the ROC curve of miR-199a-5p, miR-200c-3p and combined miR-199a-5p and miR-200c-3p were 0.692, 0.792 and 0.798, the sensitivity and specificity were 87%,97%,92.5% and 43%,54%, 65%, respectively.Conclusion Combined detection of miR-199a-5p and miR-200c-3p in plasma has a higher sensitivity and specificity than the conventional tumor marker CEA and CA19-9, and may be a useful combination for gastric cancer diagnosis.
