Objctive To search for the therapeutic method of children's nephrotic syndrome. Methods Sixty-six cases oe children's nephrotic syndrome were randomly divided into 2 groups, impulsion group (34 cases) and control group (32 cases). Dexamethasone (1.5~3 )/mg (kg?d) added into (100~150)ml 10%GS solution, intravenous drip in impulsion group, one time a day, totat 3 days, the fourth day stoped. The fifth day started again and used one time evcry two days, total 6 times. Prednisone(1.5~3)mg/(kg?d) were taken next day and total 4 weeks, then grandually decreased the dose. Only prodnisone was used in control group, the method and dose were the same as impulsion group. Results Complete remission. partial remission inefficacy ere 23, 7 and 4 cases respectiye1y in impulsion group and 22, 5 and 5 cases respectively in control group, the effective rates of the 2 group are 88.23%and 84.38% (P>0.05). The times of state of illness stabilization are respectively 11.3?7.2 and 10.48?6.34 months in the 2 groups. The side effect of impulsion group is bigger than that of control group. Conclusion Children's primary nephrotic syndrome should be treated for 8 weeks by routine hormone induction therapy, if no remission, impulsion therapy could be used.

OBJECTIVETo select a safe, quick and effective method for terminating ectopic pregnancy (EP) with few adverse effects.
METHODSPatients were divided into 2 groups. The observed group was treated with methotrexate (MTX, 50 mg/m2 for single dose intramuscular injection) plus RU 486 (600 mg taken orally in the morning with empty stomach, followed with fasting for 2 hrs) and Waiyun Zhuyu decoction (WZD, one dose a day for 7-10 days). The control group was only treated with MTX, with the same regimen as used in the observed group.
RESULTSThe curative rate, time for blood beta-HCG recovering, lump absorption time, and tube recanalization rate in the observed group were better than those in the control group (P < 0.01). CONCLUSION; The key links for successfully treating EP with conservative drug therpy are to diagnose the disease early and clearly, and to select indicative subject strictly. The scheme of single dose administration of MTX plus RU486 combined with WZD, with its high efficacy and few adverse reaction, may be used as the first choice for referential clinical drugs administration.

OBJECTIVETo observe the therapeutic efficacy and safety of gonadotropin-releasing hormone agonist (GnRHa) combined Wenshen Xiaozheng Decoction (WXD) in auxiliary treating endometriosis after laparoscopy.
METHODSOne hundred and thirty-four endometriosis patients with confirmative pathological diagnosis were assigned to three groups depending on whether they would receive adjuvant therapy or Chinese medicine treatment, i.e., the control group, the observation 1 group, and the observation 2 group. The 22 patients in the control group received no adjuvant therapy after laparoscopy. The 42 patients in the observation 1 group were treated with GnRHa 3.6 mg by subcutaneous injection starting from the 1st day to the 5th day of menstruation, once per 28 days. The 70 patients in the observation 2 group were treated with GnRHa 3.6 mg by subcutaneous injection in combination with WXD starting from the 1st day to the 5th day of menstruation, once per 28 days. They also took WXD for 7 doses, one cycle per every 28 days. The treatment lasted for three to six months. Serum levels of estradiol (E2), follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), luteinizing hormone (LH), and cancer antigen 125 (CA125), as well as clinical efficacy, and adverse drug reactions were observed before and after treatment.
RESULTSThere was statistical difference in serum levels of E2, FSH, or LH between the control group and the observation 1 and 2 groups (P < 0.05). There was no statistical difference in serum levels of E2, FSH, or LH between the observation 1 group and the observation 2 group (P > 0.05). There was statistical difference in the clinical efficiency among the 3 groups (P < 0.05). There was statistical difference in the pre-post difference of CA125 levels among the three groups (P < 0.01). Compared with the control group, there was no statistical difference in the pre-post difference of CA125 levels between the observation 1 group and the observation 2 group (P > 0.05). No obvious adverse reaction occurred during the treatment.
CONCLUSIONSGnRHa combined WXD showed confirmative clinical efficacy in treating endometriosis after laparoscopy. It also could lower serum levels of E2, FSH, and LH levels. So it was an ideal solution for treatment of endometriosis.

METHODS: The contents of baicalin, paeoniflorin and glycyrrhetic acid were analyzed by HPLC.Chromatographic conditions included: Hypersil BDS C_(18) column and the mobile phase consisted of a mixture of methanol-water-phosphoric acid(47(∶)53(∶)0.2),acetonitrile-water-phosphoric acid(18(∶)82(∶)0.1) and methanol-water-phosphate buffer solution(70(∶)29(∶)1).Baicalin,paeoniflorin and glycyrrhetic acid were detected at 280 nm,230 nm and 250 nm respectively. RESULTS: The linear range of baicalin, paeoniflorin and glycyrrhetic acid were 2.88—72.00 ?g/mL,2.85—22.80 ?g/mL and 4.16—52.00 ?g/mL respectively. The contents of baicalin in the mixed decoction was higher than that in the seperated decoction. The contents of paeoniflorin and glycyrrhetic acid in the mixed decoction were almost as same as that in seperated decoction. CONCLUSION: The contents of active ingredients in the mixed and seperated decoction are different.
6.Analysis of occupational stress in workers of a steel plant.
Chinese Journal of Industrial Hygiene and Occupational Diseases 2008;26(9):522-525
OBJECTIVETo investigate level and its influential factors of occupational stressors and strains in workers of a steel plant and explore the feasibility of occupational stress and mental health as indicators of effect evaluation of health promotion at workplace.
METHODS1039 workers were investigated by using cross-sectional method. The questionnaires included job stressors, skill discretion, job control latitude, mental health and sleep disorders.
RESULTS54.5% of respondents reported "job doesn't allow mistakes" as stressor, while 47.6% of respondents reported "too job responsibility" as stressor. The scores of job stressors were significantly higher than female workers (P<0.01). Workers with high education level scored more skill discretion, job control latitude and lower mental health than ones with low educational level (P<0.05 or P<0.01). Elder workers had more skill discretion and job control latitude scores than younger. There were significant differences in scores of skill discretion among different length of service groups (P<0.05). There were also significant differences in scores of skill discretion among different job title groups (P<0.01). Occupational stressors were correlated significantly positively with sleep disorder (r=0.37, P<0.01), but job control latitude negatively to mental health (r=-0.19, P<0.01).
CONCLUSIONThe workers in the steel plant report occupational stressors, which is related to poor self-reported health symptoms. The occupational stressors and mental health should be considered as one of effect evaluation indicators of health promotion at workplace.

Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 2001;22(2):176-178
Objective: To assess the autonomic nervous impairm ent in chronic renal failure and its related factors. Methods: F orty adults were randomly selected including in-patients in the nephrology ward and healthy subjects for routine medical examination. The subjects were classifi ed into 4 groups: normal subjects(NS),normal renal function, nitremia, uremic patients. The time domain measurements of heart rate variability(HRV) and ambula tory blood pressure were analyzed simultaneously . Results: (1) There were significant differences as compared with normal subjects in the time domain measurements of HRV in uremic group. It decreased significantly when the patient was defined as end stage chronic renal failure. There were no significan t differences between NS,normal renal function group and nitremic group. (2) Ti me domain measurements of HRV was significantly lower(P<0.05) in uremia with renal hypertension than in uremia with normal blood pressure. Conclusio n: (1) Patients with chronic renal failure(HRV) have their cardiac auton omic nervous system impaired conspicuously in the course of uremia. (2) There is a positive correlation between cardiac autonomic nervous system impairment in p atients with CRF and renal function levels. Uremia itself is an independent fact or for the impairment of cardiac autonomic nervous system. (3) Renal hypertensio n with uremia may intensify the impairment of cardiac autonomic nervous system of the patients.

Journal of Third Military Medical University 2001;23(4):429-431
Objective To study the effects of hypoxia and glutamic acid on the kinetic properties of NMDA receptor channel of the hypothalamic neurons in rats. Methods Cell-attached mode patch clamp technique was employed to record the single channel current of the NMDA receptor. Results The open probability of NMDA receptor channel was increased after acute hypoxia compared with that of normal state, the open time τ1,τ2 was changed from (0.33±0.10)ms,(4.36±0.26)ms to (0.93±0.22)ms,(7.64±0.72)ms, and the close time τ1,τ2 was from (18.03±3.50)ms,(171.50±19.10)ms to (3.42±1.02)ms,(19.39±3.07)ms. The mean open probability was changed from 0.12±0.05 in normal state to 0.66±0.36 in hypoxia state. Furthermore, glutamic acid can increase open time and open probability of NMDA receptor channel, decrease close time. Conclusion The excitability and the open probability of NMDA receptor channel of hypothalamic neurons increased by hypoxia is related to glutamate.
