Objective To study the chemical constituents of the heartwood of Trachycarpus fortunei. Methods Compounds were isolated and purified by silica gel column , Sephadex LH-20 chromatography and recrystallization .Their structures were elucidated by physicochemical properties and spectral data .Results Ten compounds were isolated from the 95%ethanol extract of the heartwood of T.fortunei and identified as 1,3-dihydroxyanthraquinone (1),mollugin(2), 4-hydroxy-2, 6-dimethoxy-benzoic acid ( 3 ), 5-hydroxy-2-hydroxymethyl-γ-pyranone ( 4 ), 3, 5-dihydroxy-2-methyl-γ-pyranone(5),3,5-dihydroxy-γ-pyranone (6),daucosterol (7),4-hydroxybenzoic acid (8),pyrocatechol (9),β-sitosterol (10).Conclusion Compounds 1-7 have been obtained from this plant for the first time ,and 1-6 from the genus for the first time. The screening results of antitumor activity in vitro show that the half inhibitory concentration IC 50 of compound 2 for human osteosarcoma cells U20S and human neuroblastoma cells SY 5Y is 18.10 and 26.59 μg/ml respectively. Compound 5 can inhibit the growth of human breast cancer cells MCF-7 with a half inhibitory concentration IC 50 of 37.31μg/ml.

Objective To follow up the changes of postnatal cardiac sizes and function in infants of mothers with gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM). Methods Eighteen GDM mothers with euglycemia (GDM group) and 24 gestational age-matched normal pregnant women (control group),having prenatal examination and delivered in Women's Hospital of Fudan University from January to August in 2007, received fetal echocardiographic examination in late pregnancy. Infants of these GDM mothers and 24 age-matched healthy infants of normal pregnancy (control group) received sonographic follow up. Cardiac sizes and function were evaluated and compared. Results At birth, there were six (33.3%) infants of large for gestational age (LGA) and 12(66.7%) appropriate for gestational age(AGA) in GDM group, while in the control group, there were two LGA (8. 3%) and 22(91.7%)AGA infants (x2 =3. 840, P= 0. 05). Both the interventricular septum and left ventricular walls in GDM fetuses were thicker than in control fetuses (P < 0.05). No increase in the thickness of ventricular walls was observed till infantile period. However, the end-systolic thickness of left ventricular walls in LGA infants was still larger than in control infants [(4.55 ± 0.37) mm vs (4. 13±0.39)mm, P<0. 05], and end-diastolic left ventricular long-diameters were also larger [(37. 3±2.3) mm vs (34.6±2.6) mm] (P<0. 05). In GDM fetuses, the peak velocities of aorta and pulmonary artery and left cardiac output were higher than in the controls (P< 0. 01 ), and right/left cardiac outputs ratios were lower (1.198±0.206 vs 1. 430±0. 321, t= -2.668,P=0. 011). Till infantile period, only right/left cardiac outputs ratios in AGA infants of GDM group were larger than in controls (P<0. 05). GDM fetuses' left atrial shortening fraction and tricuspid E/A ratios were smaller (P<0. 05). In infantile period, only left atrial shortening fraction in GDM infants was still smaller than in controls (0. 356 ± 0. 040 vs 0. 386 ± 0. 041, t = - 2. 332, P = 0. 025). Left and right ventricular Tei index in GDM fetuses were 0. 482±0. 129 and 0. 414±0. 094, both larger than those of control fetuses (0. 309 ± 0. 074 and 0. 283 ± 0. 072) (t = 5. 075 and 5. 129, P = 0. 000 ). Till infantile period they both became significantly lower and no differences were found among LGA, AGA and control infants. Conclusions The cardiac sizes and function at 2-3 months of age, in infants of GDM mothers with good glucose control, became better than that in uterus.

China Pharmacy 2015;26(35):5015-5016
OBJECTIVE:To discuss the feasibility of the development of pharmaceutical care by clinical pharmacist based on micro letter public platform. METHODS:The content and method of pharmaceutical care based on micro letter public platform were introduced by registering micro letter public platform public number, building reasonable medication guidance team, releasing reasonable medication information regularly. RESULTS:40 pieces of reasonable medication information had been pushed by micro letter public platform of our department during Aug.-Nov. 2014,and 350 users added our public platform. The pushed information was mainly about reasonable drug use(57.5%),read by 18 585 persons, and read by 465 person per time in average. Reposted or collected 2 190 times in total, reposted or collected 55 times in average, each piece of information was read by 4 219 person per time at the most. CONCLUSIONS:The pharmaceutical care by pharmacists depending on micro letter public platform contribute to put pharmacist team together, build professional image and provide pharmaceutical care for the public in the information age.

Objective To observe the ultrastructural changes of the infarcted region after transplantation of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) into the infarcted rats. Methods Model of middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAo) in Wistar rats was established. The isolated and cultured MSCs in vitro were injected into the infarcted region. The ultrastructural changes of the infracted region were observed at 4 w after transplantation by electron microscopy. Results Some immature cells surrounding the neurons were found to survive in the infracted region. Massive free ribosomes were observed in the neural cytoplasm in the infarcted region in the rats receiving MSCs transplantation, but neurons with nuclear pyknosis and neurophagia were observed in the infarcted region of rats in the control group. Conclusion MSCs transplantation might improve neuron repair in cerebral ischemic injury in rats.

Objective To explore the effects of donepezil on auditory event-related potentials in cases of mild cognitive impairment(MCI).Methods Thirty-four mildly impaired patients were examined using auditory event-related potentials and neuropsychological tests. All patients received 5 mg of donepezil orally each day.The patients were retested with the neuropsychological scales and re-examined for auditory event-related potentials after 3 months of treatment. Results All neuropsychological test scores among the MCI patients had improved significantly after treatment There was no significant change in average Boston naming test scores before and after treatment.PS0 amplitudes had decreased significantly after treatment, but P300 amplitude was elevated and latency significantly shortened compared with before treatment.PS0 amplitude was positively correlated with P300 latency in these MCI patients before treatment, but both P300 latencies and PS0 amplitudes showed a negative correlation with scores on the memory sub-tests.Conclusions These results suggest that donepezil may improve cognitive function among MCI patients, especially memory function. The PS0 and P300 components of auditory event-related potentials are objective and sensitive indicators to evaluate the cognition function of MCI patients, and they also can be used as indicators in assessing the efficacy of donepezil treatment of mild cognitive impairment.

Objective To explore the experience in nursing the patients with esophageal high-grade intraepithelial neoplasia lesions treated with endoscopic submucosal dissection. Method A retrospective analysis was carried out among the patients with esophageal high-grade intraepithelial neoplasia lesions to look into the nursing care to the patients. Results Thirty patients were successfully stripped, and no surgical complication occurred. After intensive care, they were cured and discharged. Conclusion Professional and meticulous care can effectively improve the success rate of endoscopic submucosal dissection and reduce the incidence of complications, and promote the rehabilitation of patients.
