Abstract: Objective To investigate the correlation between persistent and non-persistent HPV infection and vaginal microecology and cervical lesions, and to provide the basis for HPV prevention and treatment. Methods In this prospective study, 229 female patients with high-risk type (HR-HPV) were selected for cervical cytology and vaginal microecological examination in the gynecological outpatient department of Baise Maternal and Child Health Hospital from January 2018 to June 2021. The patients were followed up for 1 year to detect persistent HR-HPV infection. The relationship between HR-HPV persistent infection and vaginal microecology and cervical lesions was analyzed using the HPV-negative group as a control. Results Among 229 patients with HR-HPV, there were 109 patients with persistent HR-HPV infection and 120 patients with non-persistent HR-HPV infection in 1-year follow-up, and the incidence of persistent HR-HPV infection was 47.6%. In the HR-HPV persistent and non-persistent infection and HPV-negative groups, the bacterial vaginal incidence was 20.2%, 15.0% and 8.6%, respectively; vulvovaginal candidiasis was 19.3%, 13.3% and 7.9%, respectively; trichomoniasis vaginitis was 12.8%, 9.2% and 4.5%, respectively; mixed infection was 10.1%, 6.7% and 2.7%; H2O2 detection rate was 24.8%, 18.3% and 12.0%,the positive rate of pH value was 52.3%, 40.8% and 36.4%, and microecological normal detection rate was 22.9%, 32.7% and 40.2%, respectively. There were significant differences among the three groups (χ2=10.634, 10.522, 9.010, 9.374, 10.054, 8.268, P<0.01). In the HR-HPV persistent and non-persistent infection groups, the rates of atypical squamous cell detection were 12.8% and 10.0%, and 8.3% and 4.2% for low-grade squamous cell lesions, and 4.6% and 1.7% for high-grade squamous cell carcinoma, 2.8% and 0 for squamous cell carcinoma, respectively. There was no significant difference in the composition of atypical squamous cells between the two groups (χ2=4.358, P>0.05), there were significant differences in the composition of low-grade, high-grade and squamous cell carcinoma (χ2=11.472, 12.685, 11.378, P<0.01). Spearman rank correlation analysis showed that the presence or extent of HPV infection was positively correlated with bacterial vaginosis, vulvovaginal candidiasis, trichomonal vaginitis and mixed infection (P<0.05), positively correlated with H2O2, sialdase, leucocyte esterase,pH positive and positive for all four items (P<0.05), negatively correlated with microecology (P<0.01), positively correlated with low grade, high grade and squamous cell carcinoma (P<0.01), and not significantly correlated with atypical squamous cell carcinoma (P>0.05). Conclusion Persistent cervical HPV infection is an important factor of dysregulation in vaginal microecology and aggravates the degree of dysregulation in vaginal microecology, which is related to the development of cervical lesions.

ObjectiveTo study the effect of Shuanglong pill on expression of vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF) and basic fibroblast growth factor(bFGF) on aortic atherosclerotic plaque.MethodsAs atherosclerotic(AS) models of rabbits were made by immune injury plus hyperlipid diet, all rabbits were divided into blank control group(group Ⅰ,6), experimental control group(group Ⅱ, 6), captopril control group(group Ⅲ, 6; 10 mg/kg·d,12 weeks), and Shuanglong pill group(group Ⅳ, 6; 2.52 g/kg·d,12 weeks). Quantitive and qualitative analysis of expression of VEGF and BFGF on aortic atherosclerotic plaque were performed.ResultsExpressive area, density and density index of VEGF and bFGF on aortic atherosclerotic plaques were significantly decreased in group Ⅲ and Ⅳ than in group Ⅱ(P<0.01). There were significant decrease for VEGF expression in group Ⅳ than in group Ⅲ(P<0.01).Pathologic staining showed that there were no foam cells formation and no stained yellow in group Ⅰ, but mass foam cells formation and widespread stained yellow in group Ⅱ. There were a small quantity of foam cells formation and little stained yellow in group Ⅲ and group Ⅳ.ConclusionShuanglong pill can delay/reverse AS progression by inhibiting VEGF and bFGF expression in atherosclerotic plaque as well as captopril.

ObjectiveTo explore the effect of Shuanglong pill which can vivid blood and relax thread pulse on cardial morphology and haemodynamics in experimental myocardial infarction (MI) rats.Methods66 rats ligated left coronary artery were randomly divided into large dose group of Shuanglong pill (LDG), small dose group of Shuanglong pill (SDG), the normal control (NC) and the control group of MI. Half in each group received 2 week treatment and the other received 4 week treatment, and were spiled in femoral and common carotid artery respectively. Parameters of cardiac haemodynamics were monitored by eight lead physiological recorder. ResultsLeft ventricular systolic maximum velocity in LDG, SDG and DC was more significantly elevated than in MI, after 2 weeks and 4 weeks of treatment, but it was lower than NC. There were no significant differences among LDG, SDG and DC. Ventricular systolic maximum velocity in LDG was more significantly elevated than in MI after 2 week treatment.ConclusionTreating MI with Shuanglong pill can improve left ventricular systolic maximum velocity, and diastolic phase function of left ventricular also elevate during the acute stage of MI by using large dose.

Objective To investigate whether perfusion-weighted imaging (PWI) can be used to evaluate blood perfusion of patients with leukoaraiosis (LA), its relationship to clinical features, and the therapy effect of LA. Methods The 44 patients with LA were recruited in the study. All the subjects were examined with both conventional and dynamic susceptibility contrast-enhanced perfusion MR imaging, 13 of them repeated the examinations after the treatment. The shapes and sizes of the biggest lesions in each patient were confirmed by conventional MR imaging, then the values of relative cerebral blood volume (rCBV), relative cerebral blood flow (rCBF) and relative mean transit time (rMTT) in each lesion were calculated respectively. Furtherly, a Pearson's correlation analysis was performed to show whether these values were correlated with mini-mental state examination (MMSE)scores or activities of daily living (ADL) scores. Results The 44 lesions of all the subjects showed significant decreases in rCBV (0. 797 ± 0. 160) and rCBF (0. 779± 0. 164) but increase in rMTT (1. 029±0. 073). There were positive correlations between rCBV and MMSE (r = 0. 524, P =0. 000), between rCBV and ADL (r=0. 621, P=0. 000), between rCBF and MMSE (r=0. 555, P=0. 000), and between rCBF and ADL (r= 0. 690, P= 0. 000), and negative correlations between rMTTand MMSE (r=-0.307, P=0.043), and between rMTT and ADL (r=-0.434, P=0. 003). The blood perfusion was enhanced in 10 out of 13 patients who received the repeated examinations after the treatment, most of whom showed the improvement of clinical symptoms. Conclusions Perfusion MR imaging can assess hemodynamic alterations in LA, which could reflect the clinical symptoms. Moreover, the changes of blood perfusions can be used to evaluate and monitor the therapy effect of LA.

To understand the adverse drug reaction (ADR) induced by Mailuoning injection. 162 ADRs due to the drug were retrieved from national medical journals of 1988-2007 for statistics. It was shown that there was no relationship between ADR and dosage, but ADR appeared mostly in middle-aged and old groups, and more in male than in female. The occurrence of ADR was commonly within 30 min after injection. It involved injuries of various systems and organs. As for the 123 cases of allergy, 38 were anaphylactic shock (accounting for 23.46%), two people died. ADR characterized by immediate type on initial use and tachy type. It should be paid more attention to the Mailuoning injection for the immediate hypersensitivity reaction (such as anaphylactic shock).

Chinese Journal of Applied Physiology 2002;18(4):337-339
AIMTo study the possibility that responses of fever and discharge of neurons in PVN to intraperitoneal administration of LPS are mediated by vagal afferents.
METHODSRectal temperature of rat was detected by digital temperature detecting instrument. Glass micropipette placed in PVN was used to record unit discharges of neurons in it, before and after LPS was injected into PVN in normal rats and vagotomy rats.
RESULTSThe rectal temperature change value in vagotomy LPS group was significantly decreased compared with that in sham LPS group, and there was striking difference between them (P < 0.05). The discharges of neurons in PVN was increased in the normal rat in response to LPS. The discharges of neurons in PVN had no significant change in the vagotomy rats in response to LPS.
CONCLUSIONThe results indicate that vagus nerve may be one of the pathways of peripheral LPS signal communicating to CNS.
