Objective To analyse incidence of the severe complications of hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy and the influence on the outcome of pregnancy. Methods A retrospective study of 4107 cases among 71 020 cases who delivered in hospitals from 1995 to 2004 in Guangzhou was conducted. Results The morbidity of hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy was 5.78%,in which the morbidity of severe pre-eclampsia was 27.78% (1141/4107),of mitis pre-eclampsia was 72.22% (2966/4107). Maternal mortality rate was 0.19% (8/4107),and the specific mortality rate was 11.26/100 000.The proportion of severe complications of hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy from high to low was as follows:placental abruption 1.68% (69/4107),DIC 1.36% (56/4107),hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy induced cardiopathy(induced cardiopathy) 1.05% (43/4107),renal failure 0.97% (40/4107),cerebrovascular accident 0.58% (24/4107),and hemolysis, elevated liver enzymes and low platelet (HELLP) syndrome 0.51% (21/4107).Mortality caused by severe complications of hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy were as follows:cerebrovascular accident 17% (4/24),HELLP syndrome 10% (2/21),DIC 5% (3/56) and induced cardiopathy 2% (1/43).The proportion of perinatal mortality from severe complications were as follows:placental abruption 43% (33/77),HELLP syndrome 42% (10/ 24),DIC 34% (22/64),renal failure 25% (11/44),cerebro vascular accident 24% (6/25)and induced cardiopathy 16% (8/49).Conclusions (1) The morbidity of severe complications from high to low are: placental abruption,DIC,induced eardiopathy, renal failure, eerebro vascular accident and HELLP syndrome.(2) The main causes of mortality for gravida and puerperant are:cerebro vascular accident, HELLP syndrome,DIC and induced cardiopathy.(3) The major complications harmful to perinatal newborns are in the order of:placental abruption,HELLP syndrome,DIC,renal failure, eerebro vascular accident and induced cardiopathy.

Objective:To explore clinical and histopathological characteristics of primary biliary cirrho-sis-autoimmune hepatitis overlap syndrome. Methods:Clinical data and pathological findings of 10 pa-tients were reviewed. Results:Serum glutamine transpeptidase, alkaline phosphatase levels, alaninetransaminase, aspartate transaminase, serum IgG and IgM were elevated in all the patients. They were allpositive for anti-mitochondrial antibody and AMA-M2.Nine patients were positive for anti-nuclear anti-body and one patient was positive for anti liver-kidney microsome antibody.Liver biopsies in these pa-tients revealed:ten patients had bile duct lesion, hepatitis activities ranged from moderate to severe, andfibrosis ranged from S1 to S3.Conclusion:PBC-AIH overlap syndrome is mostly found in middle-agedwomen.It has the clinical and histopathological characteristics of both PBC and AIH.Accurate andprompt diagnosis of overlap syndrome patients should be based on the clinical presentation, biochemicaland immune indexes, and hepalic pathological changes.

Objective To explore the reasons and preventive measures of early dislocation after total hip arthroplasty in elder patients. Method A retrospective study was done to analyze dislocation time, reason and time of 168 elderly patients with early anti-dislocation after total hip arthroplasty in joint surgery. Results Only 7 patients (4.1%) had type I joint dislocation, including 2 male and 5 female patients aged 65~89 years. The dislocation happened in 4~5 weeks postoperatively, mainly resulting from hip joint over flexion when urinating in bed, sleep-turning, loaded-moving, walking and stoop and diachoresis. Conclusions For the elderly patients after total hip replacement, it is type I dislocation which happened 4 ~ 5 weeks after operation, more femal than male, reasons including over-exercrse. Effective prevention measures includes regular rehabilitation training, early precautions enhanced mental support and safety nursing.

Objective To determine chromosomal localization of the primary gout susceptibility gene in a pedigree. Methods The clinical data and the peripheral blood samples were collected in the pedigree members and the genomic DNA was extracted from peripheral blood.A genome-wide screening was performed using 400 micro-satellite DNA markers in this family, and linkage analysis was used to determine the chromosomal location of the primary gout susceptibility gene. Results Linkage analysis showed that the maximum LOD score reached 1.50 at marker D4S1572 (at recombination fraction?=0.00).Conclusion Since D4S1572 is localized at 4q25,the primary gout susceptibility gene of this pedigree is localized at 4q25.

OBJECTIVETo observe the efficacy and safety of Danlong Oral Liquid (DOL) combined Western medicine (WM) in treating mild-to-moderate bronchial asthma patients (heat wheezing syndrome) at acute onset.
METHODSTotally 480 mild-to-moderate bronchial asthma patients (heat wheezing syndrome) at acute onset were randomly assigned to two groups in the ratio 3:1, the treatment group (360 cases) and the control group (120 cases). All patients received basic WM treatment. Patients in the treatment group took DOL, 10 mL each time, 3 times per day for 7 days in total, while those in the control group took Kechuanning Oral Liquid (KOL) , 10 mL each time, 3 times per day for 7 days in total. Efficacy for asthma symptoms, lung functions and scores of TCM syndrome and/or main symptoms were evaluated.
RESULTSThe percentage of clinical control and significant effectiveness of asthma symptoms in the treatment group was significantly higher than that of the control group (77.36% vs 56.07%, P < 0.01). The percentage of clinical control and significant effectiveness of lung functions in the treatment group was significantly higher than that of the control group (74.28% vs 50.00%, P < 0.01). The anterior-posterior difference in scores of TCM syndrome was significantly superior in the treatment group than in the control group (-11.26 ± 4.70 vs -9.21 ± 5.09, P < 0.01). The anterior-posterior difference in scores of main symptoms was significantly better in the treatment group than in the control group (-6.58 ± 3.08 vs -5.16 ± 3.45, P < 0.01). The incidence of adverse reactions was significantly lower in the treatment group than in the control group [1.73% (6/346 cases) vs 10.17% (12/118 cases) , P < 0.05].
CONCLUSIONDOL combined WM was superior to KOL in treating mild-to-moderate bronchial asthma patients (heat wheezing syndrome) at acute onset.

Objective To evaluate the advantages of TB-IGRA and protein chip to detect the Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Methods From October 2013 to March 2014,collected 78 cases of clinical diagnosis of tuberculosis and normal control’s pe-ripheral blood specimens, used TB-IGRA kits and Mycobacteriumtuberculosis IgG kit(protein chip)to detected respectively. The results were analyzed and compared. Results The sensitivity of protein chip and TB-IGRA in the detection of Mycobac-teriumtuberculosis were 34.5% and 89.7% respectively, which was statistically significant (χ2=26.95,P<0.05).The spe-cificity of protein chip and TB-IGRA were 90.0%,95.0% respectively, which were not statistically significant (χ2=1.64,P> 0.05).The positive rate of TB-IGRA and Protein chip in tuberculosis were 90.5% and 42.9%.The positive rate of TB-IGRA and Protein chipin extrapulmonary tuberculosis were 89.20% and 29.7% respectively. Conclusion Compared TB-IGRA and protein chip, either diagnose tuberculosis or extrapulmonary tuberculosis has highly positive rate and sensitivity, TB-IGRA can be widely used in the early screening of tuberculosis.
