ObjectiveTo observe the influence of rehabilitation training on heart rate of stroke patients in the early stage.MethodsThe heart rate (HR) of 30 patients within one week after the onset of stroke was evaluated by FUKUDA DS 880A teleelectrocardiograph and the rating of perceived exertion (RPE) was collected during practicing bridging, rolling and moving the arms.ResultsThe HR of 30 patients was only increased 7.57, 6.23 and 6.57 beats per minute during practicing bridging, rolling and moving the arms. RPE of all patients was less than 11.ConclusionAppropriate rehabilitation training is safety and unable to increase the loading of heart in the early stage after the onset of stroke.

Objctive To search for the therapeutic method of children's nephrotic syndrome.Methods Sixty-six cases oe children's nephrotic syndrome were randomly divided into 2 groups,impulsion group (34 cases) and control group (32 cases). Dexamethasone (1．5~3 )/mg (kg?d) added into (100~150)ml 10%GS solution, intravenous drip in impulsion group, one time a day, totat 3 days, the fourth day stoped. The fifth day started again and used one time evcry two days, total 6 times. Prednisone(1．5~3)mg/(kg?d) were taken next day and total 4 weeks, then grandually decreased the dose. Only prodnisone was used in control group, the method and dose were the same as impulsion group.Results Complete remission. partial remission inefficacy ere 23, 7 and 4 cases respectiye1y in impulsion group and 22, 5 and 5 cases respectively in control group, the effective rates of the 2 group are 88．23%and 84．38% (P＞0．05). The times of state of illness stabilization are respectively 11．3?7．2 and 10．48?6．34 months in the 2 groups. The side effect of impulsion group is bigger than that of control group.Conclusion Children's primary nephrotic syndrome should be treated for 8 weeks by routine hormone induction therapy, if no remission, impulsion therapy could be used.

Objective To study the diagnostic value of rSj26-Sj32-IgG-ELISA for acute schistosomiasis japonica. Methods Purified rSj26-Sj32 fusion protein and crude Schistosoma japonicum antigen (SjAWA)were used to establish IgG-ELISA to detect serum of patients with acute schistosomiasis, and clonorchiasis sinensis,paragonimiasis westermani, alveolar echinococcosis, cystic echinococcosis, type B hepatitis, lung tuberculosis patients and healthy human serum were used as control. Results The sensitivity and specialty were 90.00%(45/50) ,97.67% (42/43) and 92.00% (46/50),97.67% (42/43) in detection of acute schistosomiasis japonica with rSj26-Sj32and SjAWA, respectively, and the difference was not statistically significant(x2 were both 0.0, all P ＞0.05). The serum cross-reaction reactivity was 20.00%(2/10) in patients with alveolar echinococcosis with SjAWA,but no cross-reaction with rSj26-Sj32, the difference was not statistically significant(x2 = 0.5, P ＞ 0.05). The serum cross-reactivity were 14.29% (3/21 ), 7.69% (1/13) and 19.05% (4/21 ), 7.69% (1/13) among patients with clonorchiasis sinensis and paragonimiasis westermani by rSj26-Sj32 and SjAWA, but no cross reaction with type B hepatitis and lung tuberculosis patients, the difference was not statistically significant (x2 were both 0.0, all P ＞ 0.05). The positive predictive value, the negative predictive value and the diagnostic efficiency with acute schistosomiasis japonicum by rSj26-Sj32-IgG-ELISA and SjAWA-IgG-ELISA were 97.83% (45/46),89.36% (42/47),93.55% (87/93)and 97.87% (46/47),91.30% (42/46),94.62% (88/93), respectively, and the difference was not statistically significant (x2 were both 0.0, all P ＞ 0.05). Conclusion rSj26-Sj32 fusion protein can be used for the immune diagnosis of acute schistosomiasis japonica.

Objective To investigate the diagnostic value of coding gene of Sj26, Sj32 and Sj14-3-3 amplified by PCR for chronic Schistosomiasis japonica. Methods The DNA was extracted from sera of 40 patients with chronic Schistosomiasis japonica, the coding gene of Sj26, Sj32 and Sj14-3-3 was amplified by PCR and identified by 1.2% agarose gel electrophoresis. DNA from the sera of 21 patients with Clonorchiasis sinensis, 13 patients with Parogonimiasis westermani and 43 healthy donors was taken as control. Results A total of 399 bp coding gene of Sj14-3-3 was amplified successfully from sera of the patients with chronic Schistosomiasis japonica,but Sj26(676 bp) and Sj32( 1270 bp) coding gene were not obtained. Control groups were all negative. Conclusions Sj14-3-3 coding gene amplified by PCR can be used for genetic diagnosis of chronic schistosomiasis.

Objective To investigate the effect ofYindanxinnaotong (YDXNT) capsule on learning and memory abilities, super oxide dismutase (SOD) activity and malondialdehyde (MDA) content in the hippocampus of rat models of vascular dementia (VD). Methods Animals were randomly divided into sham-operated group,VD vehicle group (Group VD) and YDXNT treatment group (Group VD+YDXNT); the 4-vessel occlusion was employed to establish the VD rat models in the Group VD and Group VD+YDXNT,while rats in the sham-operated group were not performed occlusion of the bilateral common carotid artery.Rats of the Group VD+YDXNT were given 1 mL liquid (9 granules of YDXNT into 360 mL normal saline) through intragastric administration 3 times daily for a consecutive 4 weeks; and rats of the other 2 groups were given the same volume of saline.The changes of learning and memory abilities were observed by Morris water maze test; the activity of SOD and the content of MDA in the hippocampus were measured. Results As compared with those in rats of the Group VD, the learning and memory abilities in rats of the Group VD+YDXNT were significantly improved (P＜0.05):time in finding the platform was obviously decreased and swimming distance in finding the platform was obviously shortened in rats of Group VD+YDXNT.As compared with those in rats of the Group VD,the activity of SOD in the hippocampus was significantly increased and the content of MDA was obviously decreased in rats of the Group VD+YDXNT (P＜0.05). Conclusion YDXNT could increase oxygen radical metabolism to improve the learning and memory abilities of rats with VD.

Objective To investigate the effects of Yindanxinnaotong capsule on hemorrheology indexes and blood lipid levels in elderly patients with lacunar infarction (LI).Methods The hemorrheology indexes and blood lipid levels were measured in 62 elderly patients with LI, and then,compared with those of 50 healthy subjects. The hemorrheology indexes and lipid levels were re-measured to assess the therapeutic effect of Yindanxinnaotong capsule in 50 patients 45 d after the treatment. Results The hemorrheology indexes and the levels of total cholesterol, triglyceride, and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol in patient group were significantly higher than those in healthy control group before the treatment (P＜0.05). The hemorrheology indexes and blood lipid levels after the treatment with Yindanxinnaotong capsule in patient group were significantly improved as compared with those before treatment (P＜0.05). Conclusion The obvious abnormalities of hemorrheology indexes and blood lipid levels are found in aged patients with LI and Yindanxinnaotong capsule can improve these abnormalities.

In this study, five rhesus macaques were inoculated intravenously with SIVmac251 to establish a model of simian autoimmune deficiency syndrome (SAIDS). Peripheral blood samples were collected at different time points to monitor changes in the total T cell number and T lymphocyte subset. Plasma viral loads, cytokine expression levels and anti-SIV antibody levels were also assayed to acquire certain basic indexes to evaluate disease progression in the rhesus macaque SAIDS model. During the acute stage of infection, plasma viral loads reached a peak at week 1 post-inoculation and lasted for approximately 3 to 44 weeks. The CD3+ CD4+ T lymphocyte count in peripheral blood also transitorily decreased. During the same period, the level of interferon-gamma show an increasing trend, whereas IL-12 levels decreased; IL-2, IL-4, IL-10 and TNF-alpha were maintained at normal levels or could not be detected. During the asymptomatic and ARC phases, plasma viral loads persisted above 10(4) RNA copies/mL and either increased or declined during the later stages of disease; CD3+ CD4+ counts showed a steadily declining trend and the ratio of CD4 to CD8 decreased during late-stage disease. Moreover, antibodies against viral proteins were detected in the plasma and showed a significant increasing trend, while there were no apparently changes in the levels of IFN-gamma, IL-12, IL-2, IL-4, IL-10 and TNF-alpha. In conclusion, the characteristics of the SIV animal models in our study are similar to those of patients with AIDS. Therefore, the rhesus macaque SIVmac251 infection models can be applied for further studies into AIDS.
