Mental health has emerged an outstanding problem in public health and a social problem as welL Early warning and intervention mechanism for mental health of community residents serves an effective mechanism to combat mental problems for such a population. Recommendation: Emphasize and build mental health service institutions in communities, and improve their functionality, establish an effective early warning and intervention mechanism for community mental health services in communities, enhance health education, health promotion and mental health knowledge education, and carry out the tertiary prevention and tertiary functionality principles for mental health. These measures can prevent community residents from mental illness, improve their mental health, and promote the development of mental health services in Chinas communities.

Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 1994;0(04):-
Objective To investigate the effect of nerve growth factor(NGF)in the process of muscular neurotization of denerva- ted vascularized skeletal muscle.Method By using NGF(0.5 ?g/d) to transplanted skeletal muscle, muscular neurotization was exa- mined with histological, histochemical, electron microscope and immunohistochemical methods at various time.Result NGF was effective in promoting muscular neurotization and diminishing denervated muscle atrophy in grafted denervated skeletal muscle. Conclusion NGF can promote the muscular neurotization and diminish denervated muscle atrophy.

Good clinical practice should be based on evidence. Evidence quality should be based on critical appraisal in evidence based medicine (EBM). Evaluation of evidence quality plays an important role in evidence level clarifying, which is the core of EBM. Different recommendations for clinical practice often derive from evidence levels. Thus evidence quality evaluation is the first and most important step in EBM. There are lots of standards to evaluate evidence quality in the world. However there are two aspects of the evaluation, one is methodological evaluation and the other is reporting evaluation. This article collected a series of standards for clinical trials quality evaluation according to different research designs. It is hoped that the resource and introduction about the quality evaluation of clinical trials be helpful for medical researchers in China. Only being familiar with all kinds of standards of methodology and reporting, researchers could publish high quality scientific papers.

8. Synthesis of miriplatin, a novel platinum-based antitumor-drug
Chinese Pharmaceutical Journal 2013;48(18):1594-1595
OBJECTIVE: To synthesize the platinum-based anti-tumor drug miriplatin. METHODS: Miriplatin was synthesized from K4PtCl4. K4PtCl4 was reacted with sodium nitrite to give the K4Pt(NO2)4 solution which reacted with(IR, 2R)-1,2-cyclohexane-diamine thus resulting in the key intermediate Pt(C6H14N2) (NO2)2. The key intermediate was subsequently reacted with hydrazine sulfate and sodium myristate in n-butanol to give the target compound. The structure of the target compound was identified by elemental analysis, ESI-MS, FT-IR, H-NMR, thermal analysis and specific optical rotation measurement. RESULTS: The structure of the synthesized compound was consistent with the title compound, and the yield was about 61%. CONCLUSION: This study provides a novel synthesis process for miriplatin.

Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2003;0(05):-
Objective:To investigate the perioperative issues on the elderly patients undergoing total knee arthroplasty. Methods:Seventy nine knees from 62 patients ≥75 years of age received total knee arthroplasty from September 2000 to January 2006,the operative result and perioperative complications were reported. Results:Sixty one cases were followed up for 28 months(ranging from 6 to 58 months),according to the hospital for special surgery(HSS) knee rating scale, the HSS scores were improved after the operation from 27.18?7.01 preoperatively to 76.24?6.08 postoperatively(P

OBJECTIVETo compare the clinical therapeutic effects between ozone and triamcinolone acetonide for the treatment of mild meniscal injury.
METHODSFrom January 2008 to December 2012, 119 patients with meniscal injury diagnosed as type I or II by MRI were divided into three groups. In the triamcinolone acetonide (A) group, there were 38 males and 2 females, with an average age of (25.34 +/- 6.34) years old, ranging from 18 to 48 years old; 36 patients had single knee injuries, 4 patients had double knee injuries and 44 knees with joint effusion. In the ozone (B) group, there were 37 males and 2 females, with an average age of (26.98 +/- 7.20) years old, ranging from 19 to 50 years old; 33 patients had single knee injuries, 6 patiens had double knees injuries and 40 knees with joint effusion. In the combination of ozone and triamcinolone acetonide (C) group, there were 37 males and 3 females, with an average age of (26.44 +/- 6.38) years old, ranging from 18 to 47 years old; 33 patients had single knee injuries, 7 patients had double knees injuries and 39 knees with joint effusion. The patients were treated with injection of 3 mg triamcinolone acetonide alone, 30 ml (30 microg/ml) ozone alone, or both two drugs respectively in knee joint cavity. All the treatment methods were carried out weekly and 4 times injections were required for a treatment course. Knee joint function was evaluated by Lysholm scale and knee joint effusion was examined by MRI before and after treatment.
RESULTSThe scale of knee joint function was 35.68 +/- 4.15 and 65.55 +/- 7.66 in group A, 36.35 +/- 6.83 and 74.39 +/- 8.47 in group B, 36.62 +/- 6.03 and 95.47 +/- 4.78 in group C before and after treatment. Compared with that before treatment, the total scale of knee joint function improved after treatment in every group. The total scale of group C was better than that of the other groups after the treatment, but there was no significant difference between group A and group B. The effective rate of these drugson joint effusion was 68.18% in group A, 62.5% in group B and 87.18% in group C. The effect of co-injection on joint effusion in group C was significantly better than that of triamcinolone acetonide or ozone alone, but the difference between group A and group B was not significant.
CONCLUSIONOzone and triamcinolone acetonide are effective in the treatment of mild meniscal injury, which can relieve symptoms and promote the recovery of joint function. Campared with the single injection, the combination of ozone and triamcinolone acetonide is better.
