Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 2003;0(10):-
Objective To discuss the construction and principal of dual-source CT,as well as its superiorities in imaging of heart coronary artery and the clinical application of dual energy technique. Methods The structure of Siemens 64-slice CT was analyzed. The superiorities of dual-source CT in imaging of heart coronary artery were compared with conventional multi-slice CT,and the clinical value of dual energy technique was discussed. Results The dual-source computed tomography had high temporal resolution superiority, and high quality coronary artery CT angiography could be acquired without heart rate control.Dual energy technique could be applied to differentiate tissue component, display given tissue, evaluate the content of iodine in tissue. Conclusion Dual-source CT can not only enhance the diagnosis veracity of pathological changes of heart coronary artery but improve the ability of CT in tissue differentiation.
3.Signal amplification strategy of MR molecular imaging
Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2003;0(10):-
The low sensibility of MR molecular imaging to signals makes signal amplification exceptionally important. This paper reviews the strategy of the reporter gene signal amplification in MR molecular imaging.

Objective To analyze the relationship between clinical pathology character and expression of E-cadherin,CerbB-2,p53,Ki-67 in breast cancer in order to evaluate its clinical significance. Methods To observe 93 cases of breast cancer.Immunohistochemical methods were used to detect the expression of E-cadherin,CerbB-2,p53,Ki-67.Results We found that the expressions of E-cadherin,CerbB-2,p53,Ki-67 in breast cancer samples were associated to histopathology grade and lymph node metastasis (p<0.05), but the expressions of CerbB-2,p53,Ki-67 were not associated to tumor size and histological type (p>0.05).Compared to other types, it showed low expression of E-cadherin in lobular carcinoma(p<0.05).Conclusion E-cadherin,CerbB-2,p53,Ki-67 can be regarded as molecular indexes of breast cancer, and they can be used to give diagnosis, choose treatment and forecast prognosis in clinical work.

Chinese Journal of Urology 2001;0(06):-
Objective To study the factors that might influence the PSA-value. Methods Serum samples were collected from 165 cases of benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH),43 cases of prostate cancer (PCa) and 41 cases of chronic prostatitis (CP),both before and after digital rectal examination (DRE),cystoscope examination, indwelling catheterization and finasteride intake. Results In the BPH group,T-PSA elevated from (2.28?2.07)ng/ml to (4.77?5.23)ng/ml, P

Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2004;0(01):-
Dynamic contrasted-enhanced perfusion MR imaging can provide noninvasive and physical maps of cerebral microcirculation. The tumor vascularities are assessed by calculating cerebral blood volumes of the normal cerebral tissue and tumor tissue from imaging signal intensities. This technique is helpful to better evaluate the histopathological grade of gliomas, determine the biopsy site for tumors. And it is very useful for the preoperative diagnosis of gliomas, solitary metastases, cerebral lymphomas, as well as differentiating tumor recurrence after surgical resection and radiotherapy from radiation necrosis. But there are some limitations in evaluating extraaxial tumors and cerebral tumors with severe breakdown of blood-brain barrier.

Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2004;0(02):-
Different from conventional MRI, Diffusion-weighted(DW) magnetic resonance(MR)imaging is dependent on the molecular motion of water, and provides information on the physiologic state of the brain. In the diagnosis of acute cerebral infarction, the sensitivity is 94% and specificity is 100%. On MRDW imaging, the epidermoid tumors and cerebrospinal fluid or arachnoid cysts, subdura effusions and subdural empyemas, abscess cavities or empyemas and necrotic tumors could be differentiated accurately. MRDW imaging also provides adjunctive information for the diagnosis and evaluation of other cerebral diseases including neoplasms, intracranial infections, traumatic brain injury, and demyelinating processes. As a valuable technique, diffusion-weighted MR imaging should be considered an essential sequence on the diagnosis of brain stroke, and its use in most brain MR studies is recommended.

Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2003;0(05):-
This article is to review the basic principles of renal perfusion in CT and MR,imaging method and perfusion characteristics in kidney diseases. It shows that in addition to the morphologic information, perfusion imaging can also provide functional and metabolic information about the renal neoplasms, which is very helpful for not only the differential diagnosis, but also the evaluation of tumor biological behaviors,it will have a bright future in clinical application.

Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2003;0(07):-
Objective:To explore the diagnostic value of MRI in the diagnosis ofbone Eosinophilic GranulomaI. Methods:The clinical and imaging materials of 13 patients with eosinophilic granuloma of bone proved by histopathology were analyzed retrospectively. The imaging examination included plain films(n=13),CT(n=12),and MRI(n=13).Results:MR identified all lesions; With one exception, all lesions were hypointense on T1-Weighted images and hyperintense on T2-Weighted images; The lesions and associated soft tissue abnormalities were very conspicuous on short T1 inversion sequences and T1-Weighed post-contrast images;Follow-up MRI studies in two patients after chemotherapy showed decreased size and enhancement of lesions compared with the baseline studies.Three lesions were not identified on plain films.MRI showed greater abnormality than plain radiographs did.CT could identify all lesions also, and the main imaging findings included bone destruction, adjacent bone cortex involvement, periosteal reaction and sof t tissue mass or swelling. Conclusion:MRI can clearly demonstrate the extent of bone involved, the change of soft tissue and sequestrum. It can also acquire the anatomic and pathologicd details of bone and and soft tissue. But X-ray film and CT may improve the diagnostic and differential diagnostic accuracy.
